Abstract

Introduction: The family has an important role in the care and treatment of tuberculosis as well as the prevention of transmission of tuberculosis disease in the family or the community. This research aims to identify the family's efforts in preventing the transmission of tuberculosis disease in the region of Kawangu Community Health Center East Sumba Regency. Method: This study is a qualitative research approach phenomenology with the participant as much as 16 people selected by purposive technique. Data collected by conducting structured interviews and dianalis with the technique of content analysis. Result: The theme of the research obtained is as much as 7 themes in a row as follows: the concept of Disease tuberculosis, Cleanliness, Close your mouth when coughing or sneezing, dispose of the saliva in place, Support TB Disease Treatment, improved nutritional Status and puts Sufferers Separately. Conclusion: Although the family has yet to fully grasp the concept of disease of TB but various efforts have been undertaken by the family to prevent the transmission of tuberculosis diseases such as keep clean, reminds patients to cover the mouth when coughing/sneezing and not throw the saliva carelessly. The family also support treatment programs with a role as PMO as well as pay attention to nutrient intake for patients of TB. Other efforts undertaken family is placing the sufferer separately.Keywords: family efforts, prevent transmission, tuberculosis

Abstract

Introduction: Family empowerment needs to be done to improve the knowledge, awareness and willingness of the family in its efforts to prevent the transmission of TB disease. This study aims to explain  the influence of the approach Neuman’s System Model to the prevention of transmission of TB. Methods: The design of this study is quasy experimental with the approach of the pre-post mehod with control group design. Sample research as many as 32 of the family, namely the 16 families in the treatment group and 16 families in the control group were determined purposively. Results: there is significant effect of treatment against the level of knowledge of the treatment group with z by -2.432 and significant value  of 0.001 and a significant influence of the treatment given to the prevention control groups with z value -2.039 and significant value of 0.041. Different test showed significant difference on the knowledge of the control group ang the treatment of 0.039 and z values -2.066 and there is a significant difference in prevention efforts of the control group and the treatment of 0.000 with a value of z -4.642. Conclusions: the approach of Neuman’s System Model performed in the treatment group have a significant influence on the increased knowledge and prevention of transmission of TB disease conducted by the family.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Jangka waktu pengobatan TB yang relatif lama dan banyaknya jumlah Obat Anti Tuberkulosis yang harus diminum menyebabkan kebosanan dan kegagalan pengobatan TB. Keluarga diharapkan dapat mendukung program mengobatan TB dengan mengambil bagian secara langsung sebagai Pengawas Menelan Obat (PMO). Peneliti mencoba menggali pengalaman yang dialami keluarga pada saat menjadi PMO, terutama pada keluarga yang memiliki anggota keluarga yang sedang dalam pengobatan TB kategori II, yaitu tipe relaps, default dan failure. Diharapkan dengan adanya informasi mengenai pengalaman keluarga tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai suatu acuan untuk meningkatkan dukungan keluarga pada penderita TB kategori II. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran tentang pengalaman keluarga sebagai PMO dalam pengobatan TB kategori II di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Nggoa Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Metode : metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualititatif dengan metode pendekatan fenomenalogi deskriptif. Pemilihan partisipan dilakukan dengan strategi purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara terstruktur. Hasil: Tema yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Tingkat Perasaan, Jenis Peran dan Faktor Hambatan. Tema Tingkat Perasaan terdiri dari dua kategori yaitu Perasaan Sensoris dan Perasaan Psikis. Tema Jenis Peran terdiri dari tiga kegori yaitu Peran sebagai PMO, Pemenuhan Kebutuhan dan Kebersihan Lingkungan, sedangkan Tema Faktor Hambatan terdiri dari dua kategori yaitu Internal dan Eksternal.

Abstract

Introduction: social security governing body (BPJS) accommodate the Health program health services in one integrated healthcare system, but in practice, people are quite confused and difficult in following the enactment of the administration by the BPJS health. This research aims to know the description of the level of satisfaction of patients as a user of Health administrative enforcement against BPJS program JKN BPJS Health Hospital Umbu Rara Meha Waingapu. Methods: this study used descriptive method with a number of sample 50 people patients that are specified in the purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire.Results: aspects of the level of satisfaction include the aspect of Reliable (reliability) 78.5% satisfied, aspects of the Responsive (Responsiveness) 72.5% % satisfied, aspects of Assurance (Assurance) 71% satisfied, aspects of Empathy (Caring) 75.5% satisfied, and Tangible aspect (direct evidence) 75.5%. Conclusion: the majority of respondents (80%) feel satisfied while 20% are not satisfied against the enactment of the administration by the BPJS Health Hospital Umbu Rara Meha Waingapu.

Abstract

Introduction: The incidence of Tuberculosis provides its own experience against a family member who is a member of his family is a TB sufferer, the impact of TB disease that is the presence of negative feelings and positive feelings in felt by family members as well as the perception that says TB are not infectious.Gain an in-depth overview of the experiences of family members caring for TB patients.Method: The research design used was the qualitative approach with Phenomenology. Five participants selected by the technique of purposive sampling, with interviews of family members experience caring for/do prevention of transmission of TB.Result: In this research obtained three themes, namely the feelings of family members caring for/do prevention of the transmission of TB, the role of family members caring for TB patients and family obstacle in conducting prevention transmission of TB.Conclusion: It was concluded that a family member had a negative and positive feelings, the less understanding, and barriers experienced within the family.It is recommended that TB sufferer's family members put themselves as part of the community, increasing their role in live as PMO well and to the nursing community in particular in Waingapu of clinics in order to improve the service of TB sufferers with treatment and care holistically i.e biopsikososial and spiritual.

Abstract

Introduction: Parenting patterns of good and true parents in children will affect the personality of pre-school age children. The purpose of this study is to know the description of parental attitudes toward the model and type of parenting pattern in pre-school age children in TK PAUD Rinjungu Pahamu Kambatatana Village, East Sumba regency. Method: This research is descriptive study to know the description of parent attitude toward model and type of parenting pattern in pre school children, with sampling technique total sampling 35 respondents. Result: Model of parent and follower pattern that approve as much as 65,71%, Pancasila parenting model that approve as much as 68,57%. The authoritarian parenting pattern that approves as much as 65.71%. Approved democratic parenting as much as 74.28%. Laisesz-faire parenting pattern that does not approve as much as 74.28%. Conclusion: most of the respondents apply good parenting to the child. Thus it is advisable for parents to guide using the democratic parenting pattern because it is always strong, be a child can grow into a person well.

Abstract

Introduction: Learning motivation plays an important role in the learning process because the learning process requires the interaction and active participation of the learners to succeed. Method: Researchers use Descriptive research with the number of samples as many as 75 students determined by Purposive Sampling data collected using questionnaires and analyzed univariately. Results: motivation to learn students based on intrinsic motivation employee class (good interest 84%, less than 16%, discipline of both 88%, approximately 12%) and regular classes (interest either 96%, less than 4%, discipline of both 98%, less than 2%) And extrinsic motivation of employee class (good family 100%, good friend 88%, less 12%, lecturer good 100%, and environment good 96%, less 4%). Regular class (good family 98%, less 2%, good friend 98%, less 2%, lecturer good 98%, less 2%, and good environment 100%). Conclusion: Student learning motivation is divided into 2 namely intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation consists of interest and discipline whereas extrinsic motivation consists of the support of family, friends, lecturers and the environment. Both types of motivation between employee class and regular class are both in the range/category either.

Abstract

Introduction: Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARTI) diseases are very common from mild to severe clinical manifestation. ARTI is on of main cause of death of the newborn and toddler. About 4 million people die because of ARTI each year, 98% caused by lower respiratory tract infection. The goal of this study is to know parent’s behavior of toddler on ARTI. Method: this study took 40 sample of parents who brought their children to Nggaha Ori Angu Primary Health Care (PHC) to have medical treatment from May to June 2017. This study is a descriptive study. The sample was taken with non-probability sampling technique, and consecutive sampling method, and questioner as study instrument. Results: the result of study of 40 sample on parent’s behavior on ARTI at Nggaha Ori Angu PHC are enough knowledge 23 people (57,5%), bad knowledge 17 people (42,5%), enough attitude 22 people (55%), bad attitude 18 people (45%), and those who have enough act 28 people (70%), bad act 12 people (30%). Summary: 3 behavior domains (knowledge, attitude, and act) of parents on ARTI diseases are at enough in a row as follow: enough knowledge 57,5%, enough attitude 55%, enough act 70% and none of them showed good knowledge, attitude and act on ARTI diseases.

Abstract

Introduction: Married is generally done by those who have completed the study period or have entered the workforce. But it can not be denied anyway, lately marriage in the study period of students more frequent. This is an interesting phenomenon because it can be ascertained that a marriage bond is done, then the student will certainly have a dual role in his life. He is not only a role as a student with the demands and tasks of college but also directly will have additional demands as a member of the family either be a husband or a wife. Method: The type of research used is qualitative research by way of sampling using purposive sampling. Result: In this research found two themes, namely the role of a student and the role of a housewife. Summary: It is concluded that the role as a student has been run well as it has been expressed by the participants who are happy to have a lot of knowledge, like to get knowledge, gain experience, can add insight, fight for my future and family, can learn and understand who do not know and role as housewife has been run well as already expressed by the participant that is relationship with husband no problem, husband helps to keep child, relationship with good child, sometimes worry because not participant who take care of their own child, relationship with good family, mutual respect, respect and mutual support.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a chronic condition that requires management that can provide long-term effects through lifestyle modification. Lifestyle modification in patients with hypertension can be observed through the health behavior of hypertensive patients. Methods: This study was a descriptive analytic study with a survey method that aimed to determine the health behavior of primary hypertensive patients in the work area of ​​Waingapu Health Center in 2017. This study involved 45 respondents who were taken with simple random sampling technique from a total population of 122 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and then analyzed by descriptive statistical tests. Results: The results of this study were 4 articles found in the database showed that there was an effect of yoga therapy in lowering blood pressure of hypertensive patients. Conclusion: Mature age supported by a high enough education can form a good attitude about hypertension which is then manifested through a healthy behavior.
