Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji akulturasi Islam dalam upacara singgiloa (sunat adat) serta nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya pada masyarakat Kelurahan Kombeli, Kecamatan Pasarwajo, Kabupaten Buton. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum masuknya Islam, tradisi singgiloa dipengaruhi oleh kepercayaan Hindu. Setelah kedatangan Islam, tradisi ini mengintegrasikan unsur-unsur Islam tanpa kehilangan bentuk budaya aslinya, yang difasilitasi oleh pendekatan budaya dalam penyebaran Islam di Buton. Upacara singgiloa terdiri dari tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan penutup. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung meliputi nilai religius, musyawarah, kebersihan, dan rasa syukur. Tradisi ini berfungsi sebagai media untuk mentransmisikan ajaran Islam kepada generasi muda sekaligus melestarikan warisan budaya lokal.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted with the aim of designing a learning approach for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) that is not only academically effective but also capable of creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere for students at SMP Negeri 8 Buton. The innovation in this learning model was intended to encourage active student engagement, foster positive perceptions toward PAI, and optimize academic achievement. The method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The study involved 30 eighth-grade students as the primary subjects. The findings revealed clear and significant impacts across various indicators. In the first cycle, student participation increased sharply from 43.3% in the pre-cycle to 76.7%. Students’ perceptions of the learning process also improved positively, with 93.3% of students reporting that the learning experience became more engaging in the second cycle, up from 76.7% in the first. Academic performance followed a similar upward trend. The average student score rose from 68.2 in the pre-cycle to 82.4 by the end of the second cycle. Furthermore, over 86% of students succeeded in surpassing the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM), indicating that the developed learning approach effectively enhanced students’ understanding of PAI material.

Abstract

Instalasi turbin mikrohidro dan panel surya sebagai penyedia listrik di Dusun Ogan Jaya, Desa Sinar Jawa, Lampung menawarkan potensi besar dalam mewujudkan Desa Mandiri Energi (DME). Namun, potensi tersebut belum didukung dengan perencanaan spasial yang terintegrasi. Model perencanaan DME dapat diidentifikasi melalui preferensi berhuni. Dengan teridentifikasinya preferensi berhuni, intervensi perencanaan spasial dapat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kebiasaan lokal. Penyesuaian tersebut berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan program DME. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi preferensi berhuni melalui nilai hunian dengan pendekatan “Hedonic Pricing Method” (HPM). Penelitian dilakukan dengan menguji atribut hunian yang mempengaruhi nilai hunian. Atribut hunian yang diuji, diwakili oleh (1) kemudahan aksesibilitas; (2) fasilitas pendukung DME; (3) hubungan sosial; (4) identitas desa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat belum sepenuhnya memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Namun, hunian yang hemat energi dapat menaikkan nilai hunian. Dalam perencanaannya, hunian harus dekat pusat desa. Masyarakat juga menginginkan rumah tinggal dekat dengan sungai. Model perencanaan DME memerlukan keterlibatan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dan perencanaan yang matang.

Abstract

Pembinaan mental dan spiritual peserta didik menjadi aspek penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berakhlak, tangguh, dan berkepribadian seimbang di tengah tantangan era digital. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran emosional, motivasi diri, serta nilai-nilai spiritual siswa melalui workshop peningkatan kecerdasan emosional (Emotional Quotient/EQ) dan pelatihan public speaking Islami di SMAN 1 Baubau. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 16–17 Oktober 2025 dengan melibatkan 50 siswa aktif yang dipilih secara purposif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan praktik komunikasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam mengenali dan mengelola emosi, berkomunikasi positif, serta menumbuhkan niat dan keikhlasan dalam setiap aktivitas. Penguatan aspek spiritual juga tampak dari perubahan sikap siswa yang lebih disiplin, reflektif, dan berorientasi pada nilai-nilai religius.

Abstract

The growth of social media has shaped the emotional construction and happiness standards of younger generations, including university students. In academic settings, narratives centered on positive thinking, patience (sabar), and surrender to God (tawakkal) are frequently offered as responses to psychological pressure. However, an excessive interpretation of these narratives risks giving rise to the phenomenon of toxic positivity the tendency to impose a positive outlook to the point of dismissing the validity of negative emotions. This study aims to: (1) analyze the dominant forms of toxic positivity narratives among FAI Class of 2023 students; (2) examine their educational impact; and (3) formulate a response from the perspective of Islamic Education. The study employs a qualitative case study approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with purposively selected participants. Data were analyzed thematically and reflectively to identify emerging patterns of meaning. The findings reveal that toxic positivity manifests through religious language particularly sabar and tawakkal interpreted in performative and overly simplistic ways. The value of sabar is reduced to emotional suppression, tawakkal is understood as passive resignation, and academic communication tends to lack emotional validation. The Islamic Education perspective affirms that emotional regulation does not mean the denial of feelings, but rather their proportional and reflective management. Accordingly, a reinterpretation of sabar, a reaffirmation of tawakkal as the integration of personal effort (ikhtiar) and surrender to God, and the cultivation of an empathetic culture within academic environments are all urgently needed. This study contributes to the broader field of Islamic education by integrating spiritual and psychological dimensions in a balanced manner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the critical thinking ability of eleventh-grade students in Fiqh subject and to describe the efforts of the Fiqh teacher in developing those abilities, including the supporting and inhibiting factors at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Bola, South Buton Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, and validated through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that students' critical thinking ability generally remains at a medium-to-low category, characterized by limitations in deeply analyzing Fiqh problems, constructing well-structured arguments, and independently evaluating legal opinions. The Fiqh teacher has made various developmental efforts through group discussions, HOTS-based questioning, and contextual case studies; however, the implementation has not been fully optimal due to time constraints, the dominance of lecture methods, significant heterogeneity in students' abilities, and the lack of varied learning resources. This study affirms that the gap between the efforts undertaken and the outcomes achieved requires more systematic, structured, and institutionally policy-based learning interventions. These findings contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goal 4 on inclusive and equitable quality education, particularly in promoting the equitable quality of critical thinking learning in private madrasah in remote island areas that have long been overlooked by educational research and national education policy.

Abstract

Kebijakan pendidikan gratis melalui Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) dan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) merupakan strategi krusial pemerintah Indonesia untuk menjalankan amanat konstitusi dalam mencerdaskan bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi kebijakan tersebut terhadap tiga dimensi utama: aksesibilitas, kualitas pembelajaran, dan pemerataan layanan pendidikan dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, menganalisis 20 referensi kunci yang terdiri dari jurnal ilmiah dan buku teks terbitan 2017-2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan ini secara signifikan meningkatkan Angka Partisipasi Sekolah (APS) dan menurunkan angka putus sekolah akibat kendala ekonomi. Namun, aspek kualitas pendidikan masih sangat bergantung pada manajemen sekolah dan kemampuan awal siswa, di mana intervensi finansial tidak selalu berbanding lurus dengan prestasi akademik. Selain itu, disparitas pendidikan antara wilayah perkotaan dan daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (3T) tetap menjadi hambatan utama dalam mencapai pemerataan yang substansial. Kesimpulannya, meskipun akses telah terbuka lebar, pemerintah perlu mereformasi mekanisme penyaluran dana dan meningkatkan standar sarana-prasarana digital guna menjamin mutu pendidikan yang inklusif di seluruh wilayah Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the persuasive approach used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in addressing learning disturbances caused by excessive gadget use among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 112 Buton, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The rapid development of digital technology has led to increased gadget use among elementary school students, which often negatively affects students’ learning concentration, motivation, and classroom discipline.This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were Islamic Religious Education teachers and fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 112 Buton. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The results show that PAI teachers implemented a persuasive approach through several strategies, including providing religious and educational advice, individual communication, learning motivation, and discipline reinforcement through class agreements. These strategies contributed positively to students’ behavioral changes, particularly in reducing excessive gadget use and improving learning concentration.Furthermore, the supporting factors of this approach include good teacher-student relationships, students’ awareness of class rules, a conducive school environment, and teacher role modeling. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include excessive gadget use outside school, lack of parental supervision, students’ established habits, and peer environmental influence.In conclusion, the persuasive approach implemented by PAI teachers is considered fairly effective in addressing students’ learning disturbances, although it still requires strong support from family and social environments to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, with validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that classroom teachers face multilayered challenges encompassing a pedagogical dimension in the form of difficulty designing learning that accommodates two groups of students simultaneously, a psychological dimension in the form of sustained emotional pressure arising from a continuous dual burden, and a structural dimension characterized by the absence of special companion teachers, individualized learning programs, and adequate inclusive system support. Amid these limitations, teachers developed adaptive strategies grounded in personal initiative, including informal differentiation, individual guidance outside class hours, and proactive communication with parents. This study affirms that structural reinforcement of the inclusive education system is an urgent necessity to realize quality and equitable education for all children, in alignment with the mandate of SDGs Goal 4.
