Abstract

The concept of tauhid is a fundamental foundation in Islamic teachings that underpins all religious practices and spiritual understanding. In Islamic Religious Education (PAI), the teaching of tauhid is not merely theoretical but is also internalized in students' daily lives. This study highlights the importance of the aspects of rububiyah and uluhiyah in shaping the character of students, where they are invited to understand Allah as the Creator and the only God worthy of worship. Through teachings relevant to real-life situations, students are expected to develop gratitude, responsibility, and noble character. The Qur'an, as the primary source of tauhid education, provides verses that serve as references, such as Surah Al-Ikhlas and Al-Baqarah, emphasizing the oneness of Allah. In developing a tauhid-based PAI curriculum, a holistic approach and effective teaching methods, including the use of technology, are essential. However, challenges in implementing tauhid education, such as a lack of understanding among educators and an unsupportive environment, must be addressed through collaboration with parents and the community. Recommendations for curriculum development are expected to strengthen the integration of tauhid values, enabling students to not only acquire knowledge but also embody good character and responsibility

Abstract

The integration of Al-Qur'an values in folklore is an interesting phenomenon that shows the relationship between religious teachings and local wisdom. Folklore not only functions as entertainment, but also as a means of education that transfers moral and ethical values to society. In this context, Ra’a and Nazara can be understood as important symbols that reflect human relationships with God and each other. Al-Qur’an, as the main source of Islamic teachings, provides relevant guidance in exploring the meaning of these two elements. to use qualitative methods with a literature review approach. The literature review aims to explain and summarize existing knowledge about the topic of Ra’a and Nazara in folklore. Thus, the discovery of similar values in education and the spread of folklore and Islamic teachings is an interesting thing. Integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam cerita rakyat merupakan fenomena menarik yang menunjukkan hubungan antara ajaran agama dan kearifan lokal. Cerita rakyat tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pendidikan yang mentransfer nilai-nilai moral dan etika kepada masyarakat. Dalam konteks ini, Ra’a dan Nazhara dapat dipahami sebagai simbol-simbol penting yang mencerminkan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan dan sesama. Al-Qur’an, sebagai sumber utama ajaran Islam, memberikan panduan yang relevan dalam menggali makna kedua elemen ini untuk menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur review. Adapun metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah literatur review dengan bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan merangkum pengetahuan yang ada tentang topik Ra’a dan Nazhara dalam cerita rakyat. Sehingga, ditemukan adanya kesamaan nilai dalam pendidikan serta penyebaran dalam cerita rakyat dan ajaran Islam menjadi sebuah hal yang menarik. Kata Kunci : Cerita Rakyat; Ra’a; Nazhara.

Abstract

TikTok Shop telah menjadi platform e-commerce yang berkembang pesat dan populer di kalangan masyarakat untuk transaksi jual beli online. Dalam konteks Islam, transaksi jual beli harus mematuhi prinsip-prinsip dasar seperti kejujuran, keadilan, kesepakatan yang saling menguntungkan, dan bebas dari gharar, riba, dan penipuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik jual beli online di TikTok Shop dari perspektif pengguna, dengan fokus pada wawasan hukum Islam dan etika bisnis. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara berani dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dari pengguna aktif TikTok Shop. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola, persepsi, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengalaman pengguna. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan wawasan bagi pengembang platform e-commerce dan pelaku bisnis untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran dan pengalaman pengguna di TikTok Shop.

Abstract

The Bidayatul Hidayah book by Imam Al-Ghazali is a classic text that discusses the teachings of fiqh and ethics comprehensively. This book is very relevant in the context of moral, spiritual development and character formation of Muslims. In developing the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum, Bidayatul Hidayah offers an important pedagogical foundation for building strong religious values ​​in students. This research aims to examine the relevance of the fiqh teachings contained in the book in order to support the development of the PAI curriculum in schools. By using the literature review method, this research was able to find that the principles of fiqh conveyed in Bidayatul Hidayah can be integrated into various aspects of PAI learning, especially in terms of building Islamic character, strengthening discipline in carrying out a worship service, as well as increasing understanding of Islamic law. It is hoped that the results of this study will be able to provide a significant contribution in designing a PAI curriculum that is more contextual, applicable and in line with the needs of current developments. Abstract

This study aims to see the extent to which visual media is effective in supporting Islamic da'wah activities through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) tutorials at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI). This is because visual media is currently an important part of educational and da'wah communication, especially among the digital generation who are more responsive to visual information than conventional approaches. The approach used is a mixed method, namely a combination of quantitative methods with data collection through questionnaires and qualitative methods through interviews and observations. The results of the study show that visual media such as learning videos, social media content, and da'wah animations play a significant role in increasing students' understanding and acceptance of religious material. Digital platforms such as TikTok are popular media used by students to access da'wah content. The main factors that influence the effectiveness of visual media are the quality of the design and appearance of the media and the relevance of the content to the da'wah material. These findings indicate that visual media not only facilitate the delivery of da'wah messages, but also contribute to shaping students' religious attitudes. This study provides recommendations for the development of more contextual and communicative da'wah media to improve the quality of PAI learning in higher education.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought changes in communication and information dissemination, including in Islamic preaching (dakwah). TikTok, as a short-video-based platform, has become one of the media used by preachers to convey Islamic messages in an engaging and interactive manner. This study aims to analyze the role of TikTok in the dissemination of Islamic preaching, assess its effectiveness, and identify the challenges and opportunities in its use. The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents who actively use TikTok to access Islamic preaching content. The collected data is analyzed using pie chart diagram techniques to observe audience engagement patterns with Islamic preaching content on TikTok. The findings indicate that TikTok is highly effective in reaching a broader audience, especially the younger generation. However, challenges such as the ever-changing platform algorithm and potential misuse of features exist. The implication of this study is the need for a more adaptive and innovative preaching strategy to ensure optimal dissemination of Islamic messages. Future research is recommended to further explore audience engagement patterns and the long-term impact of digital preaching on social media.

Abstract

In recent years, various moral issues such as bullying, individualism, and diminished social awareness among students have emerged as critical concerns in education. In response to this, it becomes imperative to examine the concept of akhlāq (moral character) within Islamic education, particularly through the integration of the Prophet’s hadith into the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. This research posits two central questions: first, what is the meaning of riwāyah Aḥmad No. 8952, and second, how can the values encapsulated in this hadith be effectively implemented to optimize the function of the PAI curriculum? These questions are analyzed using a qualitative-descriptive methodology, employing a literature study approach that involves a comprehensive review, examination, and comparison of various hadiths and Islamic educational texts. The findings suggest that the conceptual emphasis on akhlāq, which underscores its central role as the primary mission of prophethood, should serve as the foundational framework for the PAI curriculum. Furthermore, the research identifies the application of a Deep Learning approach incorporating Mindful, Meaningful, and Joyful Learning strategies as a promising method for internalizing akhlāq values into students’ lives.

Abstract

Education is a key element in the development of both individuals and society, in both general and specific contexts. Broadly speaking, education encompasses a lifelong learning process that has a positive impact, while in a narrower sense, it refers to formal educational institutions. The right to education is guaranteed by the Indonesian Law No. 20 of 2003 and is emphasized in the Qur’an, especially in Surah Al-‘Alaq. This study aims to explore the essence of Islamic education in the modern era, based on verses 1-5 of Surah Al-‘Alaq, through the interpretation of Ibn Kathir. A qualitative approach is used in this study, employing library research as the research method. Based on the analysis of Ibn Kathir’s tafsir on Surah Al-‘Alaq, it is found that education and learning are forms of mercy from Allah SWT, teaching humanity things they did not know before. Islamic education plays an important role in shaping the character and morals of individuals according to religious teachings, while integrating general knowledge with religious principles. Ibn Kathir’s tafsir in this Surah highlights the importance of reading, writing, and learning tawhid. Reading in the name of Allah SWT is considered to bring blessings and knowledge, while writing is necessary for preserving and safeguarding knowledge. Tawhid, which is the core of Islamic teachings, plays a crucial role in building awareness and devotion to Allah SWT. The paradigms of Islamic education based on the tafsir of Surah Al-‘Alaq include (1) the holistic education paradigm, (2) the tawhid-based education paradigm, and (3) the sustainable education paradigm. Overall, Islamic education aims to cultivate individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also possess high moral and spiritual values.

Abstract

Indonesia, as one of the world’s largest waste producers, faces significant environmental challenges stemming from inadequate waste management, threatening both ecological systems and public health. This study investigates the role of Muslim Generation Z students in adopting zero-waste practices at a university in Bandung, examining how Islamic ethical principles influence their environmental awareness, attitudes, and participation. The study employed a quantitative survey method using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed data from 40 respondents through descriptive statistical techniques. Results indicate that Generation Z students possess relatively high environmental awareness and demonstrate a positive alignment between zero-waste principles and their religious values, particularly the Islamic concept of khilafah (stewardship). Nevertheless, significant barriers remain in fully adopting zero-waste practices, including insufficient campus infrastructure, limited practical knowledge, and sociocultural challenges. The study recommends enhancing facilities, developing targeted educational programs, and involving religious leaders to strengthen environmental ethics among students.
