Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to find out the image of online learning, class climate and the cohesivity of students on the xi class sociology subjects at the good shepherd's pontichildren high school. The research USES a kind of ex-post facto with the pattern the dominant-less intrinsidesign from creswell. The population in the study was the xi class xi majoring in the ips high school good shepherd the pontifex number 149. The sample retrieval technique USES a simple random sampling with the number of samples 109 trainees. These research instruments use online learning angkets, class climate angkets and student cohesics. There are three stages of data analysis used in research: descriptive statistical analysis, the testing of requirements for analysis and the testing of hypotheses. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the average online learning score of 59.05 falls in low category, the class's average score of 60.59 falls on category well, the 65.21 student cohesivitas average score of 65.21 falls in high category. With the regression with the multiple distribution of statistics that follow is an f-test, at a price of 32.401 that is significant in 0,000 (elevation <0.05), thus can be concluded ho is rejected, which means there is a positive and significant influence between online study and classroom climate on the xi student cohesivitas at good shepherd high school.Keywords: Online Learning, Class Climate, Student Cohesivitas

Abstract

This literature study examines the influence of social media on social interactions in schools by collecting and analyzing various studies conducted by previous researchers. With the increasing use of social media among students, it is important to understand how social media influences school interactions by focusing on positive and negative effects. The findings from this study show that social media can influence social interactions at school in both positive and negative ways. On the one hand, social media makes communication between students easier and maintains their relationships both outside of school and at school. On the other hand, studies also identify negative impacts such as the emergence of anti-social attitudes due to excessive use of social media. Based on the results of the literature review, it is necessary to take a holistic approach to understanding the influence of social media on social interactions in schools. The lack of research on the impact of social media on social interactions in schools requires further research to explore effective strategies for managing social media use and identify best practices that can support healthy social interactions in the digital era.

Abstract

Metode penelitian kuantitatif memainkan peran penting dalam penelitian ilmiah, terutama dalam menghasilkan data yang objektif dan dapat diukur. Metode ini banyak digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian yang memerlukan analisis berbasis angka dan statistik. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep dasar, jenis-jenis, tahapan, dan kelebihan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penulisan artikel dilakukan melalui pendekatan studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai dokumen, jurnal ilmiah, buku dan literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis literatur untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mensintesis temuan-temuan utama tentang metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil kajian diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang metode penelitian kuantitatif dan menjadi salah satu referensi teoritis dalam memilih dan menerapkan metode penelitian kuantitatif.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, kemampuan dalam menggunakan teknologi AI untuk membantu proses penulisan ilmiah menjadi semakin penting, khususnya dalam hal pengumpulan data, analisis, serta penyuntingan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang berupa pelatihan penggunaan teknologi AI ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa di MAN 1 Pontianak dalam menyusun karya tulis ilmiah dengan memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan (AI), serta mendukung peningkatan mutu akademik di lingkungan madrasah dengan mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat guna. Konten pelatihan meliputi pengenalan dasar teknologi AI, pengaplikasian teknologi AI dalam penulisan akademik, serta teknik optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi AI dalam mempercepat dan memperbaiki kualitas karya tulis ilmiah. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan para peserta dapat lebih produktif dan termotivasi dalam menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah berkualitas. Hasil yang diharapkan meliputi peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam penulisan ilmiah berbasis teknologi serta peningkatan jumlah dan kualitas karya tulis ilmiah di MAN 1 Pontianak.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the effectiveness of students' scientific writing through training in the use of Mendeley Reference Manager. The training was conducted for 10 students of the Tanjungpura University Sociology Education Study Program using lecture and hands-on methods which included delivering material through presentations, practicing the installation and use of Mendeley features, as well as discussion and mentoring. The method used is field research as a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques were participant observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data sources came from primary and secondary data. The results of the activity showed 90% of participants successfully used Mendeley to manage references and organize citations automatically, improving the quality and consistency of their scientific writing. Evaluation through pre-test showed 10% of participants had excellent understanding, 40% good, 10% fair, and 40% poor. After the training, the post-test showed improvement, with 50% of participants feeling very satisfied, 40% satisfied, and 10% moderately satisfied. This activity proves that Mendeley training is effective in reducing citation format errors and the risk of plagiarism, as well as encouraging a better academic culture.

Abstract

Adolescence is an important developmental stage where individuals begin to form their social identity, which is influenced by various surrounding environments. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence social attitudes in socializing among class IX students at Nurul Ihsan Islamic Middle School, Siantan Hilir, Pontianak City. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques usd are data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The research results show that students' social attitudes are formed from the interaction of various factors, namely the family environment (parenting patterns, communication, harmony), school (relationships with teachers and friends, extracurricular activities, social climate), society (social norms and social involvement), and social media (duration of use and type of content). The dominant social attitudes shown by students include empathy, cooperation, tolerance and respect. However, behavior was also found that did not support social interaction, such as impoliteness, difficulty adapting, and minimal social participation. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between family, school and community in forming positive social attitudes in adolescents. These findings are contextual and cannot be widely generalized due to the limited number of informants and the research location being limited to one school.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sosiologi di sekolah masih didominasi pendekatan tekstual sehingga belum mengoptimalkan pengembangan literasi visual dan kemampuan reflektif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan media scrapbook sebagai media reflektif untuk meningkatkan literasi visual dalam pembelajaran sosiologi di SMA Negeri 2 Temanggung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket terbuka, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan analisis dokumen hasil karya scrapbook siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan scrapbook meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, dan kemampuan analisis sosial siswa. Persentase keterampilan mengorganisasi informasi sosial meningkat dari 44,4% menjadi 88,9%; menafsirkan fenomena sosial secara visual dari 50% menjadi 91,7%; kreativitas visual dari 52,8% menjadi 91,7%; dan refleksi kritis dari 41,7% menjadi 86,1%. Scrapbook juga mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan kolaboratif siswa dalam mengaitkan konsep sosiologi dengan pengalaman nyata. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa scrapbook efektif sebagai media reflektif untuk mengembangkan literasi visual dan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran sosiologi.

Abstract

Rendahnya keaktifan peserta menjadi salah satu masalah pada proses pelaksanaan program pelatihan dan pendidikan entrepreneur langit di Doktor Parfum Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta pada program pelatihan kewirausahaan melalui metode Appreciative Inquiry. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan enam peserta sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Appreciative Inquiry meningkatkan keaktifan peserta dari 80,30% (Siklus 1) menjadi 90,70% (Siklus 3), dengan peningkatan signifikan pada partisipasi diskusi (42%), perencanaan usaha kreatif, dan interaksi fasilitator-peserta. Siklus 4-D Appreciative Inquiry (Discovery-Dream-Design-Destiny) berhasil membangun pengetahuan kolaboratif, sesuai prinsip andragogi dan konstruktivisme sosial. Kesimpulan Appreciative Inquiry mengubah pelatihan pasif menjadi pembelajaran partisipatif berbasis kekuatan yang terbukti meningkatkan keaktifan peserta serta merekomendasikan integrasinya dalam pendidikan kewirausahaan nonformal.

Abstract

This study examines social cohesion in the Baroah tradition of the Dayak Kanayatn community in Sungai Laki Village, Mempawah Hulu District, Landak Regency. The Baroah tradition is one of the local wisdoms of the Dayak Kanayatn tribe, which holds a meaning as an expression of gratitude to Jubata (God) for an abundant rice harvest, as well as serving as a symbol of community togetherness. The purpose of this study is to describe how aspects of mutual cooperation, social relations, and active community participation are manifested in the implementation of the Baroah tradition as a form of social cohesion. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilising data collection techniques that include observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of one traditional leader and four local residents, selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validity ensured through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that social cohesion is reflected through mutual cooperation during the preparation and implementation of the event, social relations through interactions with others, and active community participation in helping to assist in the implementation. The Baroah tradition serves as a unifying force, binding the community together while preserving the cultural identity of the Dayak Kanayatn ethnic group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that cause imitative behavior among Korean drama fans at the Ratu Sepudak Female Student Dormitory in Pontianak City. The phenomenon of imitating Korean culture, particularly through Korean dramas, is increasingly prevalent among teenagers and female students. This study uses a qualitative research method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with four informants selected based on the criteria of intensity of watching Korean dramas and active involvement in Korean culture. The results of the study show that there are four main factors that influence imitative behavior, namely: (1) personal interest, which is related to interest in fashion, makeup, and character traits; (2) emotional needs, where Korean dramas become an escape when experiencing stress or boredom; (3) the influence of social media, which reinforces interest in Korean culture and encourages consumerism of Korean products; and (4) the social environment, especially friends in the dormitory who reinforce imitative behavior collectively. These four factors interact and contribute to shaping the informants' lifestyle, daily behavior, and adopted values. This study is expected to provide insight for academics, dormitory managers, and students regarding the dynamics of imitating foreign popular culture, as well as serve as a consideration in developing a selective and critical attitude in consuming foreign culture.
