Abstract

Introduction: The concept of SBS as an occupational health problem is related to air pollution, inadequate ventilation, and indoor air quality in office buildings. Lighting in the RSUD Haji Building still does not meet general and local lighting standards. Complaints of eye fatigue are also felt by administrative staff in the outpatient room of the RSUD Haji Indonesia. This research aimed to examine how physical air quality and sick building syndrome give impact to officer productivity in the outpatient room of the RSUD Haji Indonesia. Methods: This kind of study used a cross-sectional design and was observational. Simple random sampling was utilized in the sampling process, and logistic and linear regression were used to analyze the data. Results and Discussion: Lighting in outpatient rooms that is 100% compliant with standards. The percentage of rooms without proper temperature norms was 21.42%. The rate of rooms with inadequate noise requirements was 17.86%. Spaces without 50% relative humidity norms. SBS symptoms: 10.3% of respondents said they always had itchy skin, and 27.6% said they frequently experienced extreme stress and exhaustion symptoms. Conclusion: There was no effect of temperature, lighting, or noise in the room regarding the sick building syndrome symptoms of officers in the outpatient room, except humidity. However, most workers felt SBS symptoms. Officer productivity was not impacted by the physical quality of the air or by sick building syndrome symptoms.

Abstract

Good medical resume data management is one of the important indicators in health services, because the data functions as a concise document that supports medical and administrative decision-making. However, low public health literacy often leads to inaccurate information contained in the data. This community service activity aims to improve public health literacy about medical resume data in Jumputrejo Village, Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency. The method used is Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) with an action research approach. Case studies are used as an instrument to understand the needs and obstacles of the community regarding filling in medical resume data. This activity was carried out in several stages, including socialization, focus group discussions, simulations, and evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activity showed an increase in public health literacy, marked by an increase in public understanding from 35% before the activity to 82% after the activity. In addition, the community showed active involvement in discussion and simulation sessions, which helped reduce concerns regarding the privacy and security of medical data. This activity also succeeded in encouraging the community to be more aware of the importance of medical resume data in supporting optimal health services. In conclusion, the community-based education approach is effective in improving public health literacy related to medical resume data. Recommendations for the sustainability of this program are the involvement of local health cadres in supporting community education on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

By digitizing and integrating patient data, the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) initiative aims to increase the effectiveness and caliber of healthcare services. Using the DOQ-IT method, which encompasses a comprehensive evaluation of organizational support, change management, human resource competency, and technology infrastructure, this study seeks to assess Indonesia's preparedness for EMR implementation. This study reviews ten pertinent journals using a narrative review methodology. The analysis's findings indicate that a number of obstacles still stand in the way of Indonesia's EMR implementation preparedness, including inadequate infrastructure in rural regions, inadequate health worker training, reluctance to adapt, and a lack of specialized funding. However, the findings show that health facilities with strong managerial support and ongoing training programs have a better level of readiness. The DOQ-IT method has proven effective in providing a comprehensive picture of organizational readiness, although its implementation requires adaptation to the local context. By overcoming these obstacles through policy development, improving the competency of health workers, and improving infrastructure, comprehensive EMR implementation in Indonesia can be achieved.

Abstract

Abstract

Incomplete and inconsistent data recording, as well as low accuracy, were the main factors that reduced the quality of performance in health care facilities. Previous research showed that more than 50% of medical record officers competencies were categorized as low. Competence could impact hospital performance and quality. Competence could be measured by multiple intelligences and intellectual intelligence. It was important to carry out multiple intelligence and intelligence quotient analyses of the performance of medical record officers in recording patient medical data. The aim of the research was to assess the influence of multiple intelligence and intelligence quotient on the performance of officers in recording patient medical data. The method used was analytical observational research with a cross-sectional design. The purposive sampling technique involved 35 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Model with Partial Least Square. The influence of multiple intelligences on performance had a path coefficient value of -0.003 with a T-statistic value of 0.018 (< 1.96) and a P-value of 0.986, indicating no significant effect. There was a positive influence of intelligence quotient on performance with a path coefficient value of 0.745, a T-statistic value of 4.998 (> 1.96), and a P-value of 0.000. The strength of the influence of multiple intelligence and intelligence quotient on performance showed an R-square of 55%, which indicated a moderate influence.
