Abstract

One of the things that causes a teenager to engage in premarital sexual behavior is a lack of knowledge and understanding about reproductive health. A module is a medium that contains material that can be used as a guide in understanding and obtaining information about reproductive health. This research aims to develop a prevention module for adolescent premarital sexual behavior. This type of research is the development (research & development) of the ADDIE model. Through this research, a valid module was successfully developed (feasibility value 85.5). It is hoped that the module that has been developed can be used to prevent premarital sexual behavior among teenagers

Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN IMITATION BEHAVIOR AND SELF-CONCEPT OF STUDENTS AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 4 SIJUNJUNGAbstract.  This research is motivated by the existence of students who have low self-concept, students who feel embarrassed to appear in front of the class, students who are less able to interact with their surroundings, students who do not know their own abilities, so that students do not want to develop their potential. This research aims to describe 1) students' self-concept. 2) students' imitation behavior. 3) the relationship between imitation behavior and students' self-concept at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. This study uses a correlational quantitative research method, with a population of 182 people, a Simple Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 124 people. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study is percentage and product moment correlation. The results of this study indicate 1) the description of the self-concept of students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung is in the fairly high category, 2) the description of the imitation behavior of students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung is in the good category, 3) significant relationship between imitation behavior and self-concept of students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung in other words the hypothesis is accepted that there is a relationship between imitation behavior and self-concept. For this reason, it is recommended that BK teachers can provide special assistance to help students build a better self-concept

Abstract

This research was prompted by observations of students exhibiting various unfocused behaviors during class, such as playing games, taking photos, and using social media. Additionally, some students struggled with socializing and maintaining concentration while learning. The study aimed to describe students' understanding of: 1) the positive impacts of gadget use, and 2) the negative impacts of gadget use. Employing a quantitative descriptive analysis method, this research included a population of 42 students. Total sampling was used to select participants, and data was collected via questionnaires. The findings reveal that students' understanding of the positive impacts of gadget use was in the "fairly high" category, with 64.29% of respondents demonstrating this level of understanding. Similarly, their understanding of the negative impacts of gadget use was also categorized as "fairly high," at 88.10%. Overall, the study conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency, found that students' understanding of the impacts of gadget use was "fairly high," with a combined percentage of 88.10%. This indicates that most students have a good grasp of both the positive and negative consequences of using gadgets. Nevertheless, there's still an opportunity to further educate students on how to use gadgets wisely to minimize potential negative effects

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who start smoking due to peer influence, the tendency to follow group habits, and minimal awareness of the dangers of smoking. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the level of student conformity, (2) student smoking behavior, and (3) the influence of conformity on smoking behavior in grades X and XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Ranah Batahan. The study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression analysis method. The sample consisted of 115 respondents from a total population of 161 students selected through proportional random sampling techniques. The results showed that conformity and smoking behavior were in the fairly high category. It is known that conformity influences smoking behavior by 28%. This study suggests that guidance and counseling teachers and school principals provide intensive education and guidance to reduce the negative influence of conformity on smoking behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to This study aims to determine: 1) the interpersonalcommunication of students at SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci, 2) the self-adjustment ofstudents at SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci, and 3) to examine the relationship betweeninterpersonal communication and students' self-adjustment at SMP Negeri 23Kerinci. The background of this research is the still prevalent issue of correlationalproblems. The sample consisted of 113 students selected using a simple randomsampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Theresults of the study show that: 1) the interpersonal communication of students at SMPNegeri 23 Kerinci falls into the inappropriate category, 2) the self-adjustment of studentsat SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci is categorized as fairly appropriate, and 3) there is a relationshipbetween interpersonal communication and self-adjustment of students at SMP Negeri 23Kerinci, with a correlation value of 0.075, indicating that a relationship exists betweenthese two variables.Keywords: interpersonal communication, self-adjustment, junior high schoolstudents

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya guru BK yang kurang maksimal dalam mengembangkan sikap dan kebiasaan belajar peserta didik, adanya guru mata pelajaran yang mungkin kurang tepat waktu dalam memberikan data peserta didik, adanya guru mata pelajaran yang masih kurang maksimal dalam memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik, adanya guru BK dengan guru mata pelajaran yang masih kurang kerjasama dalam merencanakan pengajaran perbaikan. Adanya guru BK yang kurang maksimal dalam mendorong dan melatih untuk mengembangkan keterampilan belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Mengembangkan sikap dan kebiasaan belajar peserta didik. 2) memberikan data peserta didik. 3) memberikan kesempatan pada peserta didik kepada peserta didik yang membutuhkan layanan BK 4) mengembangkan keterampilan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif populasi sebanyak 52 teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 52. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala likert teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa : 1) Kolaborasi Guru BK dengan Guru mata pelajaran dalam pelaksanaan layanan BK di SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi berada pada kategori sangat sesuai . 2) Mengembangkan sikap dan kebiasaan belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat sesuai. 3) Memberikan data peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat sesuai. 4) Memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik yang membutuhkan bimbingan layanan BK berada pada ketegori sangat sesuai. 5) Mengembangkan keterampilan belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat sesuai.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kolaborasi Guru BK dengan Guru Mata Pelajaran dalam pelaksaana layanan Bk berada pada kategori sangat sesuai dan juga dipertahankan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who have not yet achieved their developmental tasks well. The aim of this research is to find out: 1) An overview of the achievement of students' developmental tasks in class XII MIPA 3, 2) Planning for group guidance services using problem solving methods to increase the achievement of developmental tasks. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis methods. The population in this study was 24 students and the sample in this study was 24 samples. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is the developmental task inventory (ITP). The analysis in this research uses a computer processing system that has been programmed in the developmental task inventory (ITP) application.The results of the research show that: 1) The description of the achievement of developmental tasks for class group guidance using problem solving methods. Based on this research, it is recommended that adolescents be able to complete their developmental tasks well in order to achieve their developmental tasks to enter the developmental stage in adulthood.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of high parental parenting patterns on bullying behavior in students. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1. Description of Parenting Patterns in Class VIII SMP N 14 Dumai. 2. Description of Bullying Behavior in Students in Class VIII SMP N 14 Dumai. 3. The Influence of Parenting Patterns on Bullying Behavior in Students in Class VIII SMP N 14 Dumai. This study used a quantitative research method of simple linear regression analysis. The population was 243 with a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 151. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used percentages and simple linear regression. The results of this study are: 1. Description of parental parenting patterns in Class VIII SMP N 14 Dumai is in the low category. 2. Description of bullying behavior in students in Class VIII SMP N 14 Dumai is in the low category. 3. There is a significant influence between parenting styles on bullying behavior in students in grade VIII of SMP N 14 Dumai. In other words, the hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence of parenting styles on students' bullying behavior of 78. The results of this study recommend that students can build good relationships with their parents because this has been proven to have a positive influence on bullying behavior. Emotional intelligence abilities, especially in recognizing and managing one's emotions, because this has been proven to have a positive influence on the smoothness of interpersonal communication.

Abstract

This study was prompted by the fact that many students still struggle to determine their interests and career paths in line with their personal potential, highlighting the need for effective career guidance programs in schools. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the career guidance program at SMA N 2 Bukittinggi, covering aspects of planning, service delivery, and program evaluation. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The main informants were two guidance and counseling teachers, supported by the counseling coordinator, the vice principal for curriculum affairs, and two homeroom teachers as additional sources. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the planning was based on student needs assessments and aligned with the school’s vision, although limited by time constraints. Services were provided through classroom guidance, group counseling, and individual sessions, but not all students were equally reached. Evaluation was conducted using questionnaires, yet mostly done orally and in a simple manner. In conclusion, while the career guidance program is being implemented, it still faces several obstacles in achieving its full potential.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student behavior problems such as the presence of students who lack attention in following lessons, the existence of students who have low motivation to do assignments, and the existence of students who do not have a clear learning direction or goals. This study aims to find out 1). Describe the learning interests of class XI phase F students at SMA N 1 Bonjol. 2). Describe the maturity of career selection of class XI phase F students at SMAN 1 Bonjol. 3). Testing the relationship between interest in learning and the maturity of career selection of class XI phase F students at SMAN 1 Bonjol. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research population was all students of class XI phase F, with a total of 313 with a simple random sampling technique or random sampling which produced a total of 175 respondents according to the research criteria. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship with a value of -0.202 < of a p-value of 0.007 with a weak correlation level. Based on these results, it is recommended for students to continue to increase their interest in learning in the maturity of career selection in order to support success in the learning process. For guidance and counseling teachers to continue to encourage and motivate students to be able to increase their interest in learning and the maturity of career selection in the school environment.
