Abstract

The lack of Arabic language teaching materials that integrate a communicative approach and moderate values ​​simultaneously. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of communicative Arabic language teaching materials developed based on moderate values ​​messages on improving students' Arabic language skills. Moderate values ​​such as tolerance (at-tasāmuh), balance (al-tawāzun), and anti-radicalism are integrated into teaching materials in the form of texts, dialogues, and language exercises. A quantitative approach was applied with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects of the study consisted of 57 students, with 27 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class at Al-Izzah Batu High School. The research instruments in the form of pretest and posttest tests were used to measure student learning outcomes. Normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and the variance was homogeneous. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), which means that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental and control classes. The N-Gain calculation showed an increase of 65.22%, which is included in the moderate category. These results indicated that the use of communicative teaching materials based on moderate values ​​is effective in improving students' Arabic language skills while instilling moderate character. This study recommended the use of Arabic language teaching materials that are taught not only as a means of communication, but also as a means of internalizing the values ​​of moderation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana bentuk keindahan syair modern karya Mahmud Sami Al-Barudi yang merupakan salah seorang tokoh penyair terkemuka pada masa modern. Dalam hal ini, Al-Barudi banyak membuat syair dengan berbagai macam qafiyah huruf hijaiyah, salah satunya adalah huruf hijaiyah ‘ain yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun data dan sumber datanya adalah kata atau pun kalimat yang merupakan syair dari Mahmud Sami Al-Barudi. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas secara terperinci bagaimana bentuk keindahan syair dari Mahmud Sami Al-Barudi yang berqafiyahkan huruf ‘ain. Adapun bentuk keindahan yang akan dikaji adalah dari segi tema, emosi (‘Athifah), imajinasi (Khayāl), gaya bahasa, ‘arudl, diksi atau pemilihan kata, dan amanat.

Abstract

Lisanuddin Ibnu al-Khatib is one of famous poets in his period. Besides of his famous poet status, he was also a good writer, sword expert, good archer and a scholar. He had organized a lot of literary works include poetry, history, geography, etc. Hence, this paper would like to explain more about his biography and literary works whose aim to understand his literary works characteristics. In this case, we, the writers use descriptive analyzing towards his works which then clarify the data of analysis got from learning and understanding his poetry and other literary works of him. One the example of his works is “fī layālin katamat sirr al-hawā # fī al-dujā laulā syumūs al-gurarī”. The writers identify the use of “Balāgah” elements such as: kināyah, tasybīh mursal mufaṣṣal, jinās gairu tām, isti’ārah taṣrīḥīyah. Briefly, Lisanuddin also apply the elements of Arūḍ wa al-Qawāfī. In addition, the most obvious characteristics of his literary works is that he uses easy words in order the reader easily understand his works.

Abstract

Purpose– Vocabulary is one of the main keys to being able to learn a foreign language because without vocabulary learning a foreign language will be very difficult to implement. Among the learning resources are books that also study vocabulary, with various presentations. However, the system for presenting vocabulary in books still requires a deeper review in terms of the concept of presentation. Design/Methodology/Approach– Through mixed methods based on literature studies, this article reveals how the concept of presenting vocabulary in Abdur Rahman bin Ibrahim Al-Fauzan's perspective book. The data is processed from the book "Al-'Arabiyyah li Al-Najah Book 1" using an integrated reading technique which is then linked to the concept of Ibrahim Al-Fauzan as well as facts on the presentation of vocabulary in other books from various sources of articles or news. Findings– This article produces 7 principles for presenting vocabulary in books, namely: 1) amount 2) practice questions 3) level of difficulty 4) reinforcement 5) structure 6) purpose and method of introduction 7) topic selection. Some of these principles are accompanied by descriptions and facts used in existing books and articles, and this makes an assessment based on the concept of Ibrahim Al-Fauzan with an assessment of the research book "Al-'Arabiyyah li Al-Najah Book 1" which is 85.7. These findings can form the basis for the concept of writing vocabulary in books as a source of student teaching as well as efforts to develop textbooks. Research Limitation– The limitations of this study are focused only on vocabulary in a teaching material, to find out how the quality of vocabulary in the book "Al-'Arabiyyah li Al-Najah Book 1" using the perspective of Ibrahim Al-Fauzan's concept. This study does not discuss the contents of the book as a whole, but only on the form of vocabulary that will be studied in depth.

Abstract

This study discusses how Khaled Abou El Fadl thinks in interpreting religious texts, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. In this case, it is done to be able to understand a religious text which is done by means of negotiation between the text, the writer, and the reader. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with library research as the type of this research. The data and data sources were taken from books, journals, and the works of Khaled Abou El Fadl. The documentation method is used as a data collection method, while for data analysis using content analysis. In.this.study, it can.be.seen.the results of Khaled Abou El.Fadl's hermeneutical interpretation of a religious text, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. This can determine the form of interpretation by negotiating between the text (text), author (author), and reader (reader) with a triadic pattern, namely an equilateral triangle, so that all posts have the same portion. Khaled's thought in the interpretation of this text is a renewal to be able to understand the text of the Qur'an and Hadith as the object of this interpretation.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in elementary schools in Indonesia has an important role in creating a generation that understands Islam and Arabic culture. Although considered difficult and boring, PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) strategies provide an effective solution by making learning more interesting through word games, songs, and others that can increase student motivation. This study used a qualitative research method with a Narrative research design. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The interviews were conducted with 2 Arabic teachers and 10 students. This study found that the implementation of PAIKEM successfully increased academic knowledge as well as developed students' critical thinking, communication, and cooperation skills. The implementation of PAIKEM was also effective in increasing students' learning motivation and creating a more interactive and interesting classroom environment. The results of the analysis show that despite some challenges, PAIKEM has great potential to be implemented more widely and sustainably with further improvement and development. This research provides strong evidence that PAIKEM can be an effective model for improving the quality of Arabic language learning at SDS Sunan Kalijogo Jabung.

Abstract

Kurangnya penguasaan mufradat dan pembiasaan latihan berbicara bahasa arab menyebabkan siswa sulit dalam pembelajaran maharah kalam. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh metode mumarasah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran maharah kalam pada siswa kelas VIII B SMP Sunan Kalijogo 2 Jabung Kalijogo Jabung Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh dan efektivitasan metode mumarasah pada peningkatan pembelajaran maharah kalam. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif eksperimen dengan tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tulis (pretst-posttest). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa: 1)Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan metode mumarasah untuk meningkatkan maharah kalam di kelas VIII B SMP Sunan Kalijogo 2 Jabung Kalijogo Jabung Malang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil tes dari kelas VIII B mendapat nilai dari rata-rata 45 meningkat menjadi 89 . Berdasarkan hasil pengujian uji T yang berarti yang telah dlakukan, diperoleh nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,00<0,05) yang berarti Ha (hipotesis kerja) dalam penelitian ini diterima. 2)Nilai efektivitas metode mumarasah memperoleh hasil 84,0185dari perhitungan effect size dengan kategori efektif sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa metode mumarasah dapat meningkatkan maharah kalam di kelas VIII B SMP Sunan Kalijogo 2 Jabung Malang.

Abstract

Arabic language learning will only develop if the value of the book's content and books are one of the most modern educational materials in this era. This study aims to determine electronic books according to Rushdi Ahmad Tuaimah's theory: Comparative Study of the Books Arabic Online and Modern Standard Arabic. The research methodology in this study used a descriptive library approach, and the type of research data was words and sentences in the book. The data sources were the books Arabic Online and Modern Standard Arabic. The data collection methods used for the study were reading, classification, and analysis. From the analysis of this book based on Rushdi Ahmad Tuaimah's perspective, what can be known is 1) The book "Arabic Online" e-book with various exciting audio, video, and image features, the language studied is Fusha, and does not use an intermediary language and presents questions to determine the initial abilities of students. 2) Modern Standard Arabic e-book is a printed book with additional sound features. The language studied is Fusha and various Arabic dialects, and it still uses a lot of intermediary languages. 3) The books Arabic Online and Modern Standard Arabic have advantages, namely the presentation of attractive e-books in Arabic Online and detailed and in-depth learning materials in Modern Standard Arabic.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the reality of the Arabic language in the Arab heritage and in the West. We are also known as the most advanced and modern linguistic scholars in the Arab heritage and the West. One of the objectives of this research is to describe how the opinions of linguistic scholars regarding the concept of language for ancient and modern linguists and the theory of the emergence of language for them in the Arab heritage and the West. The researcher adopted his approach on the qualitative or qualitative research approach and his type of research, which is desk research. As for the method of collecting data from this research, it is the analysis of documents, as they are based on the writing of past phenomena or incidents, and they may be paper or electronic. The method of analyzing his data is the method of content analysis, which is the method used to analyze scientific data from the content of the information contained in the data. As for the results of this research, the language has various definitions issued by ancient and modern linguists and from the Arab heritage and the West, and the theories of its origin are based on different and conflicting opinions between ancient linguists and modern linguists.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui program “Dauroh Lughowiyyah” untuk meningkatkan kemampuan maharah kalam siswa kelas 10 Mu’adalah di SMA Al-Izzah Batu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Participatory Action Research (PAR). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya program “Dauroh Lughawiyah” melalui 4 tahapan, yaitu: 1) perencanaan, dilakukan selama 3 kali sehari, dan berlangsung selama 2 minggu, hal ini dilakukan pada jam 07.30 – 10.30 – 14.00. 2) isi materi dan metode, pembelajaran fokus pada maharoh kalam dengan menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu: simulasi percakapan tematik, permainan bahasa, dramatisasi singkat dan roleplay, dan latihan presentasi mini. 3) evaluasi, dilakukan dengan cara pretest dan postest. Dalam program “Dauroh Lughowiyyah” ini mendapatkan hasil yang positiv sehingga mendapat beberapa respon positiv dari banyak siswa. Maka dalam hal ini, program “Dauroh Lughowiyyah” akan berlangsung sebagai program tahunan bagi siswa kelas Mu’adalah di SMA Al-Izzah Batu.
