Abstract

Pendahuluan: Ketimpangan sosialisasi program Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM) khususnya penciptaan gerak dan lagu dengan menggunakan Artificial Intelligence (AI) pada guru PAUD di Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Selain itu latar belakang pendidikan guru PAUD di daerah tersebut berada di tingkat rendah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) dalam merancang dan melaksanakan aktivitas gerak lagu yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar kinestetik anak di Kabupaten Banyuasin. Metode: Perencanaan, Implementasi, dan evaluasi dengan melibatkan 20 guru PAUD dari Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Hasil: Adanya peningkatan skor pretest dari 66% menjadi 79,5% dengan kenaikan sebesar 13% guru PAUD mendapat dukungan dalam menyusun lagu dan menerima masukan dari siswa yang kerja kelompok. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang antusias dan secara signifikan meningkatkan basis pengetahuan bagi guru PAUD di Kabupaten Banyuasin.

Abstract

Early childhood education is very important for the physical and mental development of children from birth to the age of six, when they experience rapid growth known as the " golden age ". Independence in numeracy, which includes the ability to name, sequence, add, and subtract numbers, is a crucial skill that needs to be taught. However, many early childhood children in Indonesia still face challenges in numeracy skills. This study aims to determine the effect of using a number block abacus on early numeracy skills in children aged 5-6 years at Az-Zahrah Islamic Kindergarten, Palembang. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 14 children in class B5, obtained through structured test and observation techniques. The results showed that the average pretest score was 15.28, while the average posttest t score increased to 21.21, with a difference of 5.9. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a Sig. value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. Thus, the number block abacus has an effect on children's early arithmetic abilities. The implications of this study provide insight for teachers and parents that the number block abacus can be used as a tool for stimulating children's cognitive, language, and fine motor skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of playdough media on visual spatial intelligence of group B children (5-6 years old) at Angkasa Lanud Kindergarten Palembang. This study used a pre-experimental method with a One Shot Case Study Design . The research sample consisted of 16 children selected using a purposive sampling technique . Data collection techniques include observation, testing and documentation. The data were analyzed using a one-sample t-test, which showed that the value of ? ?????? = 4.48 was greater than ? ?????   = 1.75, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results indicate that playdough media has a positive and significant effect on children's visual spatial intelligence. The implications of this study indicate that the use of playdough media not only improves children's visual spatial intelligence, but also develops fine motor skills, and cognitive and creativity in children.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the effect of the number maze game on the counting ability of children in group B at Al-Hikmah Islamic Kindergarten, East Oku.Method – The research method used is pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was class B2, which consisted of 10 boys and 5 girls selected using purposive sampling. The data collection tools used were observation, test, and documentation, and data analysis using normality test and t-test. Findings – The result of the analysis shows that there is an influence of the number maze game on the counting ability of children in group B using SPSS; the t-test shows a significance value of 0.0001 < 0.05, which identifies a significant improvement in the children’s counting ability. In the pretest and posttest activities, there was a significant improvement, and it can be concluded that the number maze game has an impact on counting ability. Research Implications – The practical implication of this research shows that the number maze game can be applied in early childhood education as an educational game for an effective learning method in improving numerical understanding. The limitation of this study lies in the small number of samples, so that the results of the study can be generalized to a wide population.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of ethnopedagogical approach-oriented e-modules in early childhood social learning materials on the pedagogical competence of prospective PAUD teacher students. The type of research used was a pre-experiment with a one group pre-test post-test design, involving 38 students as subjects. Data collection was carried out through multiple-choice objective tests in the form of pre-tests (before treatment) and post-tests (after treatment). The results of the analysis showed an average pre-test score of 63.42, and a post-test of 89.21, with an N-gain of 0.73 which is included in the high category. In addition, the percentage of class completion reached 92%. These findings indicate that the use of ethnopedagogical e-modules has proven effective in improving students' pedagogical competence. This e-module not only strengthens pedagogical understanding, but also makes social learning more meaningful and contextual, while supporting the preservation of local culture. Thus, this e-module can be an innovative digital learning media based on local wisdom, and has a positive impact on the professional readiness of students as prospective PAUD teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a wooden number board on the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Satu Atap Kerinjing. This research employed a quantitative pre-experimental method with a one-shot case study design. The sample consisted of 10 children from class A, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The results showed that the average posttest score was 75. Data analysis using a one-sample test indicated that the calculated t-value (tₕ) was 4.56, while the table t-value (tₜ) was 1.83. Since tₕ tₜ, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that the wooden number board has an effect on the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4–5 years at TK Negeri Satu Atap Kerinjing. This is supported by the fact that 8 out of 10 children were categorized as Developing Very Well (DVW), while the remaining 2 were in the category of Developing As Expected (DAE).

Abstract

Obesitas pada anak usia dini merupakan isu yang memengaruhi berbagai aspek perkembangan, termasuk kemampuan fisik motorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis dampak obesitas terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik anak usia 5-8 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review dengan menganalisis 18 jurnal-jurnal terpilih yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa obesitas berdampak negatif terhadap kemampuan fisik motorik anak, khususnya dalam hal keseimbangan, koordinasi, fleksibilitas, dan kekuatan otot. Anak obesitas cenderung mengalami hambatan dalam aktivitas motorik kasar seperti berlari, melompat, dan memanjat. Faktor penyebab utamanya adalah rendahnya aktivitas fisik dan pola makan tidak sehat. Kesimpulannya, obesitas dapat menghambat perkembangan fisik motorik anak usia dini serta beresiko mempengaruhi perkembangan sosial serta psikologis mereka. Diperlukan intervensi komprehensif berupa edukasi gizi, stimulasi aktivitas fisik berbasis permainan, serta dukungan  dari lingkungan sekolah dan keluarga. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan kebijakan preventif di bidang pendidikan dan kesehatan anak usia dini, khususnya di daerah dengan prevalensi obesitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a science and mathematics teaching module based on South Sumatra's natural resources and evaluate its validity and practicality. The research involved kindergarten teachers in Palembang and employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Rowntree model, which includes three stages: needs analysis, product development, and evaluation. At the evaluation stage, Tessmer’s formative evaluation approach was applied, comprising self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Media and material experts conducted the expert review, while teachers and children participated in the one-to-one and small group evaluations. Data were collected through observation, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The results indicated that the developed module was highly valid (96.09%) and practical, as evidenced by high implementation and effectiveness scores from both teachers and children. These findings suggest that the module can serve as a valuable resource for early childhood educators in teaching science and mathematics using local natural resources.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan Uno Stacko terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Kartika II-1 Kota Palembang. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 14 anak kelas B3, dipilih melalui Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 62,36 dan posttest sebesar 85,21, dengan selisih 22,85. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,049 < 0,05, yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest berarti p value < α, yang artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, permainan Uno Stacko berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak. Permainan ini juga dapat menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif seperti pemecahan masalah dan konsentrasi, serta motorik halus seperti koordinasi tangan dan mata. Kata kunci: uno stacko, kemampuan berpikir logis, anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purposes of this research were to know the effect of playing art-crafts and visual-spatial intelligence toward children's geometry understanding of kindergarten B (average age of 5 until 6 years). The method in this research used experimental research with treatment design by level 2x2. The sample of this research were 120 students. The procedure of collecting data used stratified multistage cluster random sampling technique. Analysis data in this research used two-way ANOVA. The results of this research were: 1) The geometry understanding of children who given playing the art of origami craft has a higher impact than who playing the art of collage craft (Fhitung = 7,78 > Ftabel = 3,97); 2) There is an interaction effect between children that given playing art-crafts and visual-spatial intelligence toward their understanding of geometry (Fhitung = 14,15 > Ftabel = 3,97); 3) The geometry understanding of children who have high visual-spatial intelligence given playing the art of origami craft have a higher scores impact than children who given playing the art of collage craft (QhitungA1B1-A2B1 = 6,55 > Qtabel = 3,74); and 4) The geometry understanding of children who have low visual-spatial intelligence given playing the art of collage craft have a higher scores impact than children who given playing the art of origami craft (Qhitung A1B2-A2B2 = 0,97 < Qtabel = 3,74)).
