Abstract

Abstrak Polusi udara adalah masalah yang sangat penting karena berkaitan dengan penyakit akibat emisi kendaraan bermotor, yang mengandung SO2, CO2, CO, NOx, dan gas – gas lainnya. Simulasi model dispersi udara adalah salah satu cara/metode untuk mempelajari kualitas udara yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam hal ini. Pada penelitian ini dibahas tentang model matematika dari dispersi emisi gas CO dari kendaraan bermotor roda empat yang melewati jalan layang Waru, Sidoarjo. Persamaan Gauss untuk line source disusun berdasarkan mekanisme transpor polutan secara dispersi, difusi dan adveksi. Dari persamaan tersebut dapat dihitung nilai konsentrasi gas CO untuk ketinggian tertentu secara downwind. Validasi model dilakukan dengan membandingkan konsentrasi gas CO hasil perhitungan model dengan hasil pengukuran konsentrasi gas CO di lapangan. Dengan menggunakan uji R2 diperoleh nilai R2 yang mendekati satu. Karena itu model Gaussian line source digunakan sebagai model dispersi polutan CO. Model ini selanjutnya diselesaikan dan disimulasikan dengan komputer menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Fortran dan divisualisasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak Surfer. Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan bahwa model Gaussian line source dapat digunakan untuk memodelkan pola dispersi gas CO di ketinggian tertentu secara downwind di jalan layang Waru, Sidoarjo. Hasil visualisasi bulan Juni menunjukkan bahwa pola dispersi gas CO dipengaruhi oleh arah dan kecepatan angin. Konsentrasi CO pada malam hari lebih tinggi daripada pada siang hari. Dari pola dispersi CO, diusulkan agar di sekitar jalan layang terdapat ruang udara terbuka yang cukup agar bahaya yang ditimbulkan dari polutan CO yang teremisi dari sumber emisinya dapat diminimalkan. The simulation of air dispersion was one model that needed to learn about air quality. In this research, we are interested at fly over Waru, Sidoarjo. The Gaussian equation for line source model was contructed with pollutant transport mechanism by dispersion, diffusion, and advection. We can get the concentration of the CO at the specific height by downwind. The model validation by compared the result of using formula and investigation at various times. By using R2test, we got it value was closed to one. The model are finished and simulated by using Fortran language programme and visualized bu using Surfer. The result of model described that the Gaussian line source model can be used to modeled the dispersion of CO at the specific height by downwind at the fly over Waru, Sidoarjo. The visualization at April showed that the dispersion of CO influenced by direction and speed of the wind. The concentration of CO at night was greater than at mid-day. We suggest that there were enough space around the fly over, suppose to minimize the effect of the pollution. Keywords: content, formatting, article.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that underlies the development of modern technology, has an important role in various disciplines and advance the human mind. The development in the field of information and communication technology is influenced and based on the development of Mathematics. Mathematics is a lesson that is directly related to the development of science and technology, both material and its usefulness. So Mathematics needs to be developed and upgraded including materials, teaching and learning process, environment as well as school facilities, as the special purpose of teaching Mathematics in primary school is to develop numeracy skills that are useful in everyday life. Based on the results of observations during the learning, the problem faced by students is the lack of mastery of the concept of integers so that student learning outcomes are still lacking. Teachers also still dominate learning by lecturing method so that happened is teacher centered. This makes the learners less motivated and less enthusiastic in following the lesson. For that we need to make changes in learning that is with the model of learning that creates learning to be student centered. So learning activities centered on the learners, teachers as a motivator and facilitator in it so that the atmosphere of the classroom more conducive. Teams Games Tournament (TGT) becomes one of the learning models that can be applied to change the above paradigm. Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang konvensional dan monoton akan menyebabkan siswa menjadi bosan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Maka diperlukanlah suatu model pembelajaran baru yang membuat siswa dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematikanya. Perkembangan teknologi membawa dampak pada pembelajaran sehingga saat ini kegiatan belajar mengajar tidak dipengaruhi oleh tempat dan waktu. Pembelajaran yang menarik perlu dimiliki oleh guru apalagi dengan hadirnya teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran blended learning berbasis Google Classroom menunjang pembelajaran yang efektif ditinjau dari motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar materi persamaan trigonometri kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pre-experimental kuantitatif desain one grup pre-test post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah pengumpulan data angket dan tes. Angket tersebut berupa butir-butir pernyataan terkait motivasi belajar siswa sedangkan tes tersebut berupa butir-butir soal terkait hasil belajar matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan trigonometri.

Abstract

Kurangnya kreatifitas guru dan keaktifan siswa di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran masih menjadi permasalahan yang penting untuk diteliti. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa media ICT dalam model PBL bisa meningkatkan kemampuan siswa memahami konsep IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah pengumpulan data lembar tes dan dokumentasi . Tes hasil belajar siswa yang diharapkan bisa meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik terhadap belajarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media ICT mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi siklus hidup hewan.

Abstract

Kecanggihan teknologi mengubah pola pikir manusia dan dimanfaatkan untuk memudahkan penyelesaian tugas dan pekerjaan khususnya bagi guru yang dituntut mampu menggunakan teknologi agar pembelajaran lebih menarik dan menyenangkan dan tumbuh rasa senang dan ketertarikan siswa mengikuti pembelajaran. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru di beberapa sekolah mitra Fakultas Bahasa dan Sains, maka pelatihan pembelajaran daring di sekolah sangat perlu dilakukan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan secara daring dan ditujukan kepada guru di pondok pesantren dimaksudkan untuk mempercepat pemerataan pengetahuan di seluruh penjuru negeri. Peserta pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah para guru di lingkungan pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Bangkalan yang berjumlah 50 orang. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, guru semakin meningkat kemampuannya dalam penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pemaparan materi tentang penggunaan pembelajaran daring menggunakan Office 365 dan aplikasi lainnya dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan untuk penggunaan secara mandiri oleh peserta.

Abstract

Air pollution was being a very important problem and danger for human life. This was related to diseases that arise due to motor vehicle emissions, especially carbon monoxide. Simulation of air dispersion models is the one way to study about air quality that is needed in this regard. This study aims to determine the distribution of carbon monoxide pollutants in Ahmad Yani's frontage and to anticipate the dangers of these pollutants to the health of the people living around the research location. This research discussed about the mathematical model of the dispersion of CO that emitted from cars that passed through the frontage road on the Ahmad Yani Street, Surabaya. The method used is direct observation in the field and numerical simulation using a mathematical model, Gaussian Line Source Equation Model (GLSEM). GLSEM had prepared based on the mechanism of transport of pollutants in dispersion, diffusion and advection. With GLSEM we calculated CO gas concentration values for certain heights downwind. We validated the model by comparing numerical results and measurements of CO concentration. We used the R2 test and we got an R2 close to one. We simulated GLSEM by used Fortran programming language and visualized it with Surfer. The results of the visualization in June showed that the pattern of CO gas dispersion was influenced by the direction and speed of the wind. The results obtained are that the distribution of CO pollutants in the Ahmad Yani frontage is horizontal/downwind. CO concentrations at night are higher than during the daytime. From the CO dispersion pattern, we had known that there were dangerous of air around the frontage for people health. We conclude that around the frontage road of the Ahmad Yani highway there is sufficient open air space so that the danger of CO pollutants being emitted can be minimized so that the health of the community, namely pedestrians, motorcycle drivers and the community around the location can be protected.

Abstract

Pandemi yang berlangsung pada tahun 2020 sampai dengan 2023 yaitu terjadinya Covid-19 yaitu penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan virus corona. Pandemi ini menyebabkan jumlah penderita yang terus bertambah. Indonesia yang merupakan negara terdampak wabah saat ini. Penyakit infeksi sangat bergantung pada sistem imunitas dari masing-masing individu. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan sistem pertahanan tubuh dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan nutrisi dan bahan yang terdiri komplek dari senyawa enzim, mineral, senyawa fenolik , vitamin dan flavonoid yang dapat menghambat perlepasan histamin dengan cara stabilisasi selaput sel lipid. Vitamin C berfungsi membuang radikal bebas kuat dalam plasma, melindungi sel dari zat oksidatif yang merusak karena radikal bebas ROS (reactive oxygen species). Upaya ini dapat meningkatkan sistem imunitas tubuh terutama imunitas selular. Oleh karena itu pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pemberian vitamin C dalam rangka meningkatkan sistem imunitas warga.

Abstract

At the end of January 2022 as many as 33 countries with new cases of 85% new variant called omicron which is the concern of the World Health Organization. Patients who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 are analyzed for temperature starting from the appearance of fever and until they experience recovery, followed by a decrease in body temperature and loss of fever. This study aims to conduct a mathematical simulation analysis of the observation of the body temperature of covid 19 patients. The research method is descriptive analysis by analyzing using mathematical simulations on the fever of covid 19 patients until the temperature changes to normal again. In February - March 2022, this research was carried out at the general practitioner clinic in Surabaya, Putat Gede, Sukomanunggal sub-district, with positive results from a swab examination and an infrared thermometer. The study population was patients with positive Covid-19 swab results, with a large study sample of 30 Covid-19 patients. The results showed that there was a mathematical simulation with a fever variation of 38 C. – 39.5 C occurs in covid 19 patients. The temperature is decreasing day by day approaching the normal body temperature according to the fever that is gone and healing occurs in Covid 19 patients.
