Abstract

Culture is a reflection of the personality of a nation. Therefore, if the people had no longer pretend their culture, they would lose their personality as the core of Jakarta residents who took part increasing the development of Jakarta. Culture can be form as ideas (custom or norm), activities (exemplified in the form of day-to-day tradition), and art. The people that living in the area Setu Babakan, directly or indirectly, be a mover and supporter of the Betawi’s culture that was raised in the Perkampungan Budaya Betawi. Therefore, society's perception of the Betawi’s culture is important to be explored more deeply, because society that determines whether or not the Betawi’s culture took place. Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know: (1) about correlation between culture organization and commitment organization; (2) about correlation between job satisfaction and commitment organization; (3) about correlation between culture organization and job satisfaction with commitment organization. This research had done in several state elementary schools that placed on Kramatjati, East Jakarta. The method of this research is quantitative description approach. The purpose of using this method was to analyze the correlation between two or more variable through hypothesis test and also to identificate social phenomena that happened in real situation. The result of the research answering the hypothesis which are: (1) there’s a positive correlation between culture organization and commitment organization; (2) there’s a positive correlation between culture organization and commitment organization; (3) there’s significance correlation between culture organization and job satisfaction. Nevertheless, if school start to improve all of them, state elementary school will have honorary teacher with high dedication.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of learning independence and emotional intelligence on problem solving abilities, (2) the effect of independent learning on problem solving abilities, (3) the effect of emotional intelligence on problem solving abilities. This research is a survey research because it does not provide treatment, but only reveals facts that occur naturally and are already ongoing. The research subjects were 74 grade VIII SMP YAPIDA students in the 2019/2020 school year. The data was collected using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. Questionnaire or questionnaire method to collect data on Independent Learning, Emotional Intelligence, and Problem Solving. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. In this study, 54% of the total population was taken as a sample in class VIII SMP Yapida as many as 40 students, while the sample for the instrument test was 34 samples. The results of independent learning and emotional intelligence on problem solving have a probability value of 0.002 < (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and students' ability to solve mathematical problems. The results of independent learning on problem solving abilities show a significance value of Tcount 2.04 > 2.022 T table (significance level 5%) so that the conclusion is "There is a Positive and Significant Effect of learning independence on the Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Yapida Gunung Putri Bogor". The results of the significance test of emotional intelligence on problem-solving abilities with the t-test obtained a Tcount of 3.62 and a T-table of 2.022. These results show a significance value of Tcount 3.62 > 2.022 T table (5% significance level) so that the conclusion is "There is a Positive and Significant Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Yapida Gunung Putri Bogor".

memahami dan menalari soal matematika. Dengan demikian, seseorang harus memiliki Kemampuan Numerik yang baik agar mampu menentukan operasi matematika yang tepat saat menjawab soal, sehingga dibutuhkan Penalaran Logis agar ia bisa menalari secara logis konsep matematika. Selain itu, penalaran juga dapat membuat seseorang memahami secara mendalam perihal makna numerik dalam matematika di kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Penalaran Logis dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan numerik pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika di salah satu universitas swasta di Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian survai dengan analisis regresi dan korelasi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan Numerik memiliki pengaruh terhadap Penalaran Logis.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran daring pada awal pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia yaitu pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2020. Selain juga tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang mahasiswa alami pada pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan angket berbentuk google form yang disebar melalui platform aplikasi Whatsapp. Angket disebar pada bulan April 2020. Data dari dianalisa dengan menggunakan tabel tabulasi silang dua arah untuk menunjukkan kecenderungan yang terjadi. Peneliti juga melakukan studi literatur untuk menguatkan temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran secara online memiliki beragam manfaat sekaligus juga kekurangan. Menariknya, penelitian ini menemukan kecenderungan-kecenderungan perbedaan persepsi antara mahasiswa dengan mempertimbangkan kluster wilayah responden penelitian.

Abstract

Remaja Masjid Sofwatul Ummah adalah organisasi. Remaja yang bersekertariat di Masjid Sofwatul Ummah di Kp. Prepet RT 007, RW 04, Kelurahan Pegadungan, Kecamatan Kalideres, Jakarta Barat. Organisasi periode 2019-2023 ini memiliki keanggotaan 30 orang yang rata-rata berusia 15-17 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan mitra, Tim menemukan rendahnya minat anggota mitra untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut maka Tim melaksanakan kegiatan edukasi bagi mitra guna meningkatkan pemahaman mitra mengenai peran perguruan tinggi dalam pembentukan generasi emas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa ceramah dan diskusi secara sincronus virtual meeting. Mitra. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Oktober 2021 yang diikuti oleh 11 anggota. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi yang ditunjukkan oleh angket sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam rangka memberikan edukasi dan memperkenalkan dunia kuliah, serta menginformasikan perihal beasiswa dan KIP Kuliah kepada siswa dan siswi SMA Leppesa 2. SMA Leppesa 2 merupakan sekolah yang terletak di Cililin, Bandung Barat. Posisinya berada di tengah-tengah lembah yang di kelilingi perbukitan. Untuk menuju ke lokasi, harus melewati areal jalan yang terjal dan berbatu. Sulitnya akses menuju ke kota membuat banyak lulusan SMA Leppesa 2 banyak yang tidak meneruskan pendidikan ke Perguruan Tinggi (PT). Meski mereka memiliki potensi, tetapi kebanyakkan mereka akhirnya memasrahkan kondisi yang mereka alami dengan menjadi pedagang atau petani di desa tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan bisa memberikan pemahaman secara teoritis dan aplikatif terhadap pentingnya terus bersemangat meraih cita-cita meski keadaan ekonomi dan kondisi tidak memungkinkan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa ceramah interaktif dan Focused Group Discussion yang menitikberatkan pada diskusi mengenai perkuliahan dan KIP Kuliah, serta beberapa beasiswa lainnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di SMA Leppesa 2, Cililin, Bandung Barat diharapkan dapat terus mengobarkan optimisme bahwa cita-cita sejatinya bukan merupakan hal mustahil untuk diraih.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in order to provide education to students at Leppesa 2 High School about the importance of having a growth mindset. The school, which is located in Cililin, West Bandung, is located on a hill and in the middle of rice fields. To reach the location, we have to go through steep and rocky roads. This school is the only high school in the area. This school was founded because of the desire of the Head of SMA Leppesa 2 so that students who graduated from Junior High School (SMP) could still go to school. So far, many students only go to junior high school because of the distance to Cililin public high school. For this reason, with all his efforts, the Principal of Leppesa 2 High School, eliminated fees for students. It is intended that parents do not feel heavy-hearted to send their children to high school. Despite the risks, the school principal has to sacrifice his salary and certification fees for teacher salaries and additional school infrastructure.

Abstract

Abstract: For those who studied ang studying mathematics, are often labeled with a tendency to be stiff and few words, less creative, even minus the imaginative. In fact, someone who is great in numbers actually able to understand the nature and can solve the daily problems. That is because mathematics is actually more than just the science of counting numbers and memorizing formulas, but the science that simplifies the universe into numbers and formulas. The ability to solve mathematical problems cannot be separated from language skills. Language skills will help someone to understand mathematical language that uses a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols. That way, it is very interesting to know whether language ability has a relationship with one's mathematical ability. Simple linear regression test showed that there is a significant influence between language intelligence and mathematical intelligence. The results of the analysis for simple correlation (Product Moment) showed a significant positive correlation between language intelligence and mathematical intelligence. The coefficient of determination is obtained at 44.021%, which means that Language Intelligence affects Mathematical Intelligence as much as 44, 021%. Students who have language intelligence will more easily understand mathematical problems, because in answering a mathematical problem, one must be able to know the purpose of the problem first. Because mathematics uses a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols, it is very important for someone who wants to master mathematics to understand the meaning and purpose of language. Logically, someone who has language intelligence has a curiosity to find out the implicit meaning of what he is learning. He tends not only to memorize the formula but try to understand it. At the stage of being able to understand a language, someone will more easily understand the purpose of the problem and answer it correctly.Key Words: intelligence, language, mathematical.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID sembilan belas yang menyerang dunia pada tahun dua ribu dua puluh membawa dampak yang sangat besar di berbagai sektor kehidupan. Dunia pendidikan merupakan salah satu sektor utama yang terdampak secara drastis oleh pandemi COVID sembilan belas di seluruh dunia. Kebijakan negara terkait bidang pendidikan pada masa pandemi adalah dengan meniadakan pembelajaran tatap muka. Pandemi COVID sembilan belas  telah mengubah pembelajaran yang diselenggarakan di kampus secara revolusioner Dalam waktu cepat sekolah terutama perguruan tinggi dipaksa untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Pertanyaan mengenai apakah setelah pandemi ini berakhir, model pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi akan kembali ke masa sebelum pandemi atau tetap menggunakan model pembelajaran sewaktu masa pandemi atau apakah memungkinkan bentuk pembelajaran yang merupakan kolaborasi dari masa sebelum pandemi dan saat masa pandemik, menjadi dasar kajian ini. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kembali tantangan pembelajaran yang dihadapi pada pendidikan tinggi selama masa COVID sembilan belas dan mengkaji model pembelajaran alternatif yang bisa dilakukan pasca pandemi COVID sembilan belas khususnya pada pendidikan tinggi. Dalam studi ini disampaikan latar belakang perubahan yang terjadi selama pandemi COVID sembilan belas , dan perubahan model pembelajaran di pendidikan tinggi. Kemudian, model pembelajaran masa pandemi dan pasca pandemi akan ditinjau. Selanjutnya, beberapa model pembelajaran masa pandemi akan diuraikan. Akhirnya, model pendidikan tinggi pasca pandemi akan digambarkan.
