Abstract

This study specifically aims to examine the impact of income and age of marriage on the prevalence of stunting. The use of these two variables is associated with the influence of poor family income on inadequate family purchasing power to meet the needs of their children, as well as individual immaturity in terms of their mental readiness to marry. This study uses a mixed methods approach that integrates quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. This study was conducted in Bungursari District, specifically in three health centers: Bungursari Health Center, Sukalaksana Health Center, and Bantar Health Center. The research methodology used is a convergent parallel design. The findings of the study indicate a favorable correlation between income and child stunting in Tasikmalaya City. The findings of this study were proven by comprehensive interviews, which revealed a negative correlation between parental income and the amount of time spent with children. As a result, this dynamic gives rise to unfavorable parenting practices, while the age at which individuals marry does not have a favorable impact on child stunting. The findings of this study can be valuable information for those involved in addressing and reducing the problem of stunting in Tasikmalaya City.

Abstract

Abstract

Various adjustments regarding citizenship law regulations in Indonesia still do not provide accommodation for all citizens. After the enactment of Law Number 12 of 2006 concerning Citizenship, there was pressure from the Indonesian diaspora to implement dual citizenship. This urge received a rejection from other citizens because it endangered security, economy, politics and questioned loyalty as a citizen. This study aims to examine in the literature the differences in paradigms of globalist and nationalist groups in Indonesia and the reality that occurs in other countries regarding dual citizenship. The study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study to examine the issue of dual citizenship in Indonesia and compare the development of dual citizenship in other countries. The results showed that the debate on the dual citizenship paradigm is in the material and immaterial debates. The group that supports dual citizenship wants distributive justice in terms of material (economics) for those who live abroad. In contrast, the opposing group wants to maintain immaterial aspects. (identity, culture, and ideology). This situation makes Indonesia unable to fully implement dual citizenship. Besides that, Law Number 12 of 2006 concerning citizenship at the beginning of its formation was intended to prevent apatride and bipatride. On this basis, recommendations for stakeholders related to dual citizenship need to be careful in making policies, being able to accommodate the various wishes of citizens, as well as further reviewing the legal and social impacts caused when implementing dual citizenship in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of digital policies through e-government and data interoperability in supporting effective poverty alleviation in Tasikmalaya City. The approach used is a qualitative case study design, through in-depth interviews with relevant agencies such as Bappelitbangda, the Social Service, the Health Service, the Education Service, the Communication and Information Service, the Manpower Service, and users of digital services. The results show that data interoperability enables faster, more accurate, and more efficient cross-sectoral information exchange, and supports decile-based poverty classification, which serves as the basis for developing more targeted job training and social assistance programs. However, challenges such as differences in information systems between agencies, limited technological infrastructure, lack of human resource capacity, and cross-institutional coordination remain obstacles to optimizing digital policy implementation. This study also underscores the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration between the government, the private sector, and educational institutions in improving the quality of human resources and creating innovative public services. These findings align with the e-Government Interoperability Framework (eGIF) and provide theoretical and practical contributions to the development of adaptive and sustainable digital governance at the local level. This research recommends strengthening regulations, increasing digital capacity, and developing an integrated monitoring and evaluation system to support the successful integration of e-government within the context of data-driven social policy.

The urgency of the political elite's political awareness to prioritize the nation and the state has actually not been able to materialize optimally. This condition encourages the emergence of an alternative movement that provides awareness of the importance of realizing safe general elections. This study uses literature studies to examine alternative views in the form of citizen movements to be a solution to political conflicts during general elections. The results of the study show that citizens are the most influential group over the political situation during the general election period, the skills of citizens in analyzing political situations have an impact on the actions of the political elite to always prioritize the values of peace in general elections. The more young citizens to be instigated by black campaigns make it easy for them to be moved by the political elite according to their political will. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of university collaboration, particularly lecturer research within a multi-actor network, on the formulation of waste management policies in Tasikmalaya City. Despite the existence of Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2012 and Mayoral Regulation No. 22 of 2019, waste management remains suboptimal due to low community participation, limited facilities, weak inter-agency coordination, and budget constraints. This study employs a mixed-method approach, combining a quantitative survey of lecturers from seven universities with in-depth interviews and observations. Quantitative data were analyzed using simple linear regression, while qualitative data were examined through triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that most universities lack a specific research roadmap on waste management, resulting in limited contributions to policy formulation. Although research and publication training has been implemented, it has not yet focused on environmental policy advocacy. Regression results indicate that policy formulation has a positive and significant effect on multi-actor collaboration (p < 0.05), while communication and coordination show positive but insignificant effects. The model explains 62.05% of the variance in collaboration outcomes. This study concludes that clear, directed, and inclusive policy formulation plays a more critical role than communication alone and recommends strengthening university engagement in evidence-based policymaking
