Abstract

The demand for high-quality chicken eggs continues to increase, requiring an accurate and efficient assessment system to ensure the quality of products sold by egg agents. Kurniajaya Farm faces challenges in selecting the quality of chicken eggs that vary, so a technology is needed that can assist in objective decision making. This study aims to develop an egg quality assessment model using the simple additive weighting (SAW) method integrated into the mobile application development life cycle to facilitate the selection of quality chicken eggs. The application of the SAW method is due to its ability to simplify the assessment process by calculating the weight of various predetermined criteria. The criteria set in this study include egg size, egg weight, shell cleanliness, and shell thickness. The purpose of the study is to create a system that can help Kurniajaya Farm determine egg quality quickly, accurately and consistently through an easily accessible mobile application. The research findings indicate that the system development has succeeded in categorizing egg quality with high accuracy. Users can easily determine which eggs meet the desired quality standards through the mobile application. The implementation of this system at Kurniajaya Farm has been shown to improve the quality of the products produced and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Egg production of laying hens is influenced by various factors, including temperature, humidity, and the quality of the cage environment. The main problem in this study is the fluctuation of production due to changes in environmental conditions that are not optimal. This study aims to develop and implement a smart farming system based on the internet of things (IoT) that is able to optimize egg production of laying hens through automatic monitoring of cage temperature and humidity. The methods used include needs analysis, design, implementation and testing. The results showed that the accuracy of the system reached 80% which could maintain the cage environmental conditions within the optimal range, so that egg production increased from an average of 383.67 eggs per month to 390.33 eggs per month.

Abstract

Communication plays an important role in uniting various activities in life, the process of information and between individuals as well as between people so that interaction occurs between them. Communication in the present, occurs both directly and using communication media. The government supports the development of current technology and expects a system that helps all employees work in government agencies. In this study, applications will be made that are expected to help and support them. This application is used to send real time information notifications, receive, take action, and send notifications to desired employees and also real time. Information sent in the form of announcements of events, meetings, and other activities while discussing, and discussion will be made for employees of their work in the report to fill in the appropriate tasks and for employees who have more work. In addition, this application uses Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) to send information and conversation notifications. So that, information that is announced and translated is sent at a time that can be accessed easily, an application created on an Android-based mobile device with information and changes sent are made by a Web service based application as server application, so notifications and transfer information will be sent as soon as there is an internet connection. Based on the assistance, this application will be run as soon as possible to help the Tanggamus Regency Secretariat office

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to apply the 2019 Cobit Framework to build an IT Governance design in Instidla. This research belongs to the type of descriptive qualitative research. The method used in making this system is to analyze the relationship of the state of the data and collect data by field research methods, namely by conducting interviews, literature studies and questionnaires. Based on the results of the capability level obtained and the target level as expected, it can be concluded that the gap analysis in the APO01 process is at level 1, which means that the Instidla process more or less achieves its objectives through the implementation of a series of activities that are incomplete or not very organized.

Abstract

Ditemui fakta bahwa  pengguna smartphone dan tablet adalah anak-anak. Fakta ini terlihat dari banyak dijumpai diberbagai ruang publik seperti di Restoran, Taman bermain, Bandara, Pusat perbelanjaan dan lain-lain  dimana para orang tua akan memberikan anak-anak mereka gadged agar anak-anak tidak rewel atau ketika para orang tua butuh waktu luang tanpa gangguan anak-anak. Anak usia dini diperbolehkan menggunakan teknologi digital sejak sekitar usia 2–3 tahun, dengan pengawasan orang dewasa. Tujuan kegiatan Pelatihan literasi digital bagi orang tua diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang risiko dan manfaat penggunaan teknologi digital, serta memberikan keterampilan untuk mengawasi dan membimbing anak-anak dalam penggunaan teknologi. Dengan demikian, orang tua dapat berperan aktif dalam mendukung pendidikan anak di era digital. Metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan pada penulisan artikel kegiatan ini. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah orang tua di Desa Gading Rejo yang memiliki anak-anak usia dini hingga remaja. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua dalam literasi digital. Meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua dalam mendampingi penggunaan teknologi sebagai media belajar anak. Masyarakat juga semakin sadar akan peran penting literasi digital, tidak hanya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tetapi juga dalam proses pendidikan anak. Kegiatan ini menciptakan perubahan yang berkelanjutan dalam cara masyarakat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung pendidikan anak di era digital.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is a top priority in efforts to strengthen the national economy. The UMKM Natar Community serves as a platform for MSME actors in Natar District, South Lampung Regency, consisting of 113 members engaged in sectors such as culinary, crafts, fashion, agriculture, and health. Despite its great potential, this community still faces several challenges, including the suboptimal use of digital media for marketing, conventional business management practices, and limited human resource skills. To address these issues, digital transformation is believed to be an effective solution to support MSME growth. This community service activity aims to provide outreach, training, and mentoring to UMKM Natar members regarding digital transformation and skills enhancement in product marketing management. Through methods involving education, technology application, and training in digital marketing, business management, and human resource development, this activity successfully improved participants' understanding and ability to use technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to support the online management and marketing of their businesses.

Abstract

One of the efforts to improve the quality of human resources is to foster interest and reading habits. For this reason, the library is expected to become a center for activities that foster interest and reading habits. Libraries have a great responsibility to increase and develop interest and enthusiasm for reading. Information and communication technology (ICT) has become a part of human life today. Therefore, all institutions are competing in the integration of ICT to build and strengthen their knowledge-based talents, to be able to compete in the global era. The need for information technology (IT) is closely related to the role of libraries as a driving force in the preservation and dissemination of scientific information, which develops along with people's activities of writing, printing, educating, and meeting their information needs. The writing of this study uses the descriptive qualitative method and STMIK Pringsewu as the object of the study. The Web-Based Digital Book Library is designed to be easily accessible to readers. Uploaded e-books are created in PDF format. The digital library system can only be accessed locally in the STMIK Pringsewu environment.

Abstract

The development of the world of technology every year always increases and makes it easier to do anything in their respective fields. Libraries today must adopt technology this time, namely digital technology. A digital library is an electronic library whose information can be stored and retrieved through digital formats. Digital libraries include a group of interconnected workstations connected to a high-speed network. Previous research has developed a library system with non-conventional data processing and easy service for all library members. Based on the above background, the purpose of this research is to create an Android-Based E-Library Application to Improve Service Quality and Support Distance Learning in Higher Education. Place The object of this research is STMIK Pringsewu. The methodology in this study uses qualitative methods. In terms of data collection, there are several types of data collection methods in qualitative research, namely observation, visual analysis, literature review, and interviews. The results of the research are that the downloaded file is a file with a PDF extension, and the downloaded file is complete according to the books that have been registered in the General and System Categories, which have been tested and functioned properly. Suggestions for further research can be integrated with the Higher Education academic administration system and the need for the role of Lecturers to guide, supervise, and invite students to always be independent and patient in learning so that the knowledge gained can be well received.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, including university libraries. Social media, as one of the information technology innovations, has become an effective tool in expanding access and improving library services. This research focuses on the application of social media "threads" as a strategy to increase the effectiveness of college libraries in providing services and connecting with users.This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies of several university libraries that have actively implemented social media "threads". Data was collected through interviews with library staff, observation of user behavior, and analysis of social media content. The research results show that the application of social media "threads" has provided real benefits in increasing access to information, facilitating communication between libraries and users, and promoting library services effectively.Additionally, this research also identified challenges faced in implementing social media "threads," including time management, expanding the user base, and the need for library staff training. The results of this research provide valuable insight for university libraries in developing strategies for utilizing social media "threads" to improve services and interactions with users.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing an automated feeding tool for fish farming in Pesawaran, a region known for its aquaculture potential. Aquaculture, crucial for global food needs, requires efficient and sustainable management, especially in feeding, a critical factor in fish growth and health. Traditional manual feeding methods are time-consuming and prone to errors, affecting fish productivity and growth. The research aimed to enhance feed management efficiency, minimize feeding errors, and improve the sustainability and productivity of fish farming in Pesawaran. The initial phase involved analyzing the needs of fish farmers, environmental factors, and fish species. The design of the automation tool emphasized ergonomics, reliability, and ease of use. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was employed, focusing on quick and iterative development. This method was applied at the Pokdakan Pemuda Tani RPL in Negeri Sakti Village, Gedong Tataan District, Pesawaran Regency, from July to November 2023. The application of RAD in designing the Pokdakan Pesawaran fish-feeding automation tool yielded positive outcomes. The fast, responsive development process, which actively involved users, led to a practical solution well-received by the fish farming community. This research demonstrates the value of RAD principles in providing practical, locally relevant solutions and guiding the development of adaptive, user-oriented aquaculture technology.
