Organizations can achieve success through their resources, especially human resources. Therefore, employees become the driving force in making a real contribution to the success of the organization on an ongoing basis. Of course, only employees with optimal work spirit can achieve this success. However, to maximize employee performance, there must be a strategy to improve it. This study aims to find out how these strategies improve morale. The PLS-SEM approach was used in this study. The results of this study indicate that organizational communication as well as the work environment can be a driver in the strategy of increasing employee morale, either directly or indirectly optimally through the work environment

Abstract

Among effective management systems, the importance of human resources is increasing. Employee performance is an essential factor that influences success. In an organization, this is one of the most critical functions of an institution. This research aims to determine the variables influencing employee performance and develop a theoretical basis and research model. This research used an associative descriptive quantitative method with a population of 58 respondents who were drawn into the sample using non-probability sampling, using a saturated/total sampling method. The data analysis technique uses linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26 software. The results of this research show that the first hypothesis states that employee performance is influenced by work motivation, meaning that the higher the work motivation an employee has, the higher the employee's performance. Thus, the second hypothesis states that employee performance is influenced by the work environment, meaning that the better the work environment, the more employee performance will increase. The third hypothesis is that employee performance is influenced by work motivation and work environment, which can simultaneously improve employee performance. This research is expected to provide a theoretical contribution to the literature in this context, of course, in the context of human resource management.

Abstract

Objectives: The phenomenon of turnover intention should be a concern for the company or organization owners. The phenomenon of turnover intention can be detrimental to the organization's survival. This study examines how the role of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and perceived organizational influence turnover intention and how these roles modify organizational commitment.Methodology: This research uses quantitative research with a causality approach, with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis method. The reason is that PLS-SEM can predict complex latent variables from a study. This research was conducted on J & T Cargo expedition employees in Tangerang Regency and a total sample of 131, testing the inner model and outer model and bootstrapping tests to test the mediation of organizational commitment.Finding: As formulated in the hypotheses, the results are consistent, where transformational leadership and employee job satisfaction significantly affect turnover intention, but perceived organizational support has no significant impact on turnover intention. Similarly, transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and perceived organizational support significantly impact organizational commitment. Thus, organizational commitment mediates the significant effect of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and perceived organizational support on turnover intention. Theoretical and practical implications are presented. Conclusion: Organizations that emphasize developing transformational leadership qualities and prioritizing employee satisfaction will be better positioned to avoid turnover intention. By recognizing and acting on these insights, organizations can build positive employee engagement, retention, and success cycles. In summary, transformational leadership and job satisfaction significantly affect turnover intention, as satisfied employees are less likely to consider leaving their current organization.

Abstract

The development of mobile technology has encouraged higher education institutions to adopt more efficient information systems, including student attendance systems. However, many universities still apply manual attendance methods, which may lead to inefficiency, data inaccuracies, and potential manipulation. This study aims to analyze and design a Mobile-Based Student Attendance Information System using Quick Response (QR) Code at Universitas Mangku Wiyata. The research method employed is a software development approach using the prototype model. System design is carried out using Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams, to represent system requirements in a structured manner based on the roles of students, lecturers, and academic administrators. In addition, mobile-based interface mockups are developed to illustrate the system workflow. The result of this study is a structured design of a mobile-based student attendance system that is expected to improve the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of attendance recording. This research is limited to the system design stage; therefore, further studies are required to implement and test the proposed system.
