Abstract

Software defined network (SDN) is a new approach concept for planning, developing, and operating computer networks. Routing is the process of selecting paths on a network system to send or forward packets to the destination network. This study aims to obtain the results of the calculation analysis using the k-nearest neighbor (k-NN) method as the implementation of the recommendations. The results of the analysis use a mesh topology design approach with predicted values of throughput, jitter, delay, and packet loss. This value is used as a recommendation to the network manager to determine the best path. The best path selection from the analysis results is i) path-1 (very good) which includes switch 1, switch 2, and switch 4; ii) path-2 (good) to switch 1, switch 3 and switch 4 switch 4; iii) channel-3 (moderate) through switch 1, switch 2, switch 3 and switch 4; and iv) channel-4 (bad) through switch 1, switch 3, switch 2, and switch 4. While the calculation using the confusion matrix is accuracy=72.31%, precision=96.08% and recall=87.84%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kompetensi guru RA/Tata Usaha di bidang teknologi informasi perlu ditingkatkan terutama dalam mengelola data seperti keuangan, pembelajaran, dan tata kelola sekolah RA. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah guru RA/Tata Usaha banyak yang tidak memiliki kompetensi dalam mengelola data-data keuangan dengan menggunakan aplikasi tertentu. Tujuan kegiatan PkM ini untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru RA/Tata Usaha melalui lokakarya dan pelatihan kerja sama antara IGRA dengan Fakultas Teknik dan Sains. Jumlah 104 peserta. Metode pelaksanaan PkM dilakukan melalui tahapan survei, koordinasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pelaksanaan PkM diperoleh hasil pretest bahwa: 1) Guru RA/Tata Usaha telah mengenal teknologi informasi tapi tidak mampu menggunakannya untuk membantu menyelesaikan pekerjaannya sebanyak 30 orang (29%) ; 2) Guru RA/Tata Usaha belum mengetahui aplikasi untuk mengelola data sebanyak 36 orang (35%); 3) Guru RA/Tata Usaha memiliki pengalaman menggunakan teknologi informasi untuk mengelola data keuangan sebanyak 16 orang (15%); 4) Guru RA/Tata Usaha mampu menggunakan fungsi-fungsi Microsoft Excel dan mampu mengimplementasikan untuk mengelola data keuangan sebanyak 22 orang (21%). Hasil post test menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kompetensi para peserta, yaitu semua peserta mengenal teknologi informasi dan mampu menggunakannya untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan, semua peserta mengetahui aplikasi untuk mengelola data, memiliki pengalaman menggunakan teknologi informasi untuk mengelola data keuangan sebanyak 69 orang (66.35%) , dan mampu menggunakan fungsi-fungsi excel dan mampu mengimplementasikan untuk mengelola data keuangan 35 orang (33.65%).Abstract: The competence of RA/Administration teachers in the field of information technology needs to be improved so that they can use it in managing data such as finance, learning, and RA school governance. The problem faced is that many RA/Administration teachers are not competent in managing financial data using specific applications. The purpose of Pk Mini activities is to improve the competence of RA/Administration teachers through workshops and training in collaboration between IGRA and the Faculty of Engineering and Science, a total of 104 participants. The PkM implementation method is carried out through the stages of survey, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the PkM implementation obtained pretest results that: 1) RA/Administration teachers were familiar with information technology but were unable to use it to help complete their work as many as 30 people (29%); 2) RA/Administration teachers do not yet know the application to manage data as many as 36 people (35%); 3) RA/Administration teachers have experience using information technology to manage financial data as many as 16 people (15%); 4) RA/Administration teachers can use Microsoft Excel functions and can implement them to manage financial data as many as 22 people (21%). The results of the post-test showed that there was an increase in the competence of the participants, namely, all participants were familiar with information technology and were able to use it to complete their work, all participants knew applications to manage data, had experience using information technology to manage financial data as many as 69 people (66.35%), and were able to use various functions. Excel function can be implemented to manage financial data for 35 people (33.65%).

Abstract

The central idea of the research is to improve the efficiency and sustainability of data centers by implementing accurate capacity planning, which will also improve their performance and availability. Various literature reviews have been conducted to understand the current status of capacity planning implementation in different domains and perspectives. However, a more organized and systematic approach is required to map research and implementation results in the relevant areas of capacity planning that have the potential for further development. The present study aims to fill this gap by conducting a systematic mapping study that combines both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The quantitative approach involved the collection of literature and the classification of topics using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method. On the contrary, the qualitative approach used content analysis to identify future research directions based on keyword trends and topics. The PRISMA framework was followed to guide the search for relevant studies in electronic research literature databases. The mapping results revealed 15 topics, with topics 8, 10, 11, and 15 showing significant potential for further research and exhibiting increasing trends. The identified topics encompass capacity planning, energy and resource management, computing and technology, data analysis and statistics, engineering, and industry, all crucial for businesses and industries to operate efficiently and sustainably. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the state of capacity planning implementation and highlights areas that require further investigation.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the lecture process was carried out online, so it impacted other academic activities such as the preparation of lecture schedules. The results of observations at the Faculty of Engineering and Science found that the practice of lecture schedules was carried out manually, such as the schedule coordination process was carried out face-to-face between study programs, faculties, and lecturers to overcome conflicts in the use of rooms and teaching time. Changes in the teaching schedule need to be re-checked on the use of the room and the lecturer's teaching time because it has not been documented with the information system. Hence, this study aims to build an information system for preparing lecture schedules using the Greedy Best First Search Method based on the willingness of lecturers to teach. The system was developed using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) and testing using BlackBox testing. The results of this study succeeded in building a lecture scheduling information system that was able to generate lecture schedules automatically and quickly without having to coordinate face-to-face to support online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the link between market, financial, and operational performance and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk. This quantitative study is based on data analysis from up to 100 observations collected between 2019 and 2023. Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange IDX LQ45 throughout the observation period serve as the study's samples. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample, and it was done so based on particular research-relevant criteria. The performance of the company is examined in relation to ESG risks using the robust standard errors model. Stakeholder theory, which highlights the significance of corporate management taking into account the interests of all stakeholders, serves as the foundation for the theoretical model of this work. The dependent variables in the practical model are ROA, ROE, and Tobin's Q, whereas the independent variable is the ESG risk rating. The conclusions drawn from the empirical data demonstrate that market and financial performance are significantly harmed by ESG risk. Nonetheless, operational performance is not significantly impacted by ESG risk. This research adds to the limited body of knowledge about the risk associated with sustainability reporting and how it affects a company's capacity to perform financially and on the market. Organizations that effectively handle environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks can reap enduring advantages such as enhanced standing and stable finances. A crucial first step toward ensuring sustainability and competitiveness in the future is the incorporation of ESG into company strategy.

Abstract

Server memiliki temperature tinggi sehingga dapat mempengaruhi lambatnya kinerja hardware satu dengan yang lainnya. Hal ini mempengaruhi kualitas jaringan dan tidak optimal sehingga diperlukan perangkat untuk menjaga tingkat suhu dan kelembaban. Suhu di dalam ruang server harus memenuhi standar 18-25℃. Sebelumnya, pemantauan suhu dilakukan secara manual. Oleh karena itu dirancang alat sistem monitoring untuk mempermudah melakukan monitoring. Pada penilitian ini dirancang alat kendali suhu berbasis iot dengan menggunakan aplikasi blynk. Pada hasil pengujian diperoleh perubahan suhu secara realtime dan akurat dimana nilai error rata-rata data pada alat monitoring dan server sebesar 2,4°c, dapat menyimpulkan bahwa perangkat ini sangat baik dan sistem bekerja dengan normal.

Abstract

Office Stationery (ATK) is an item used to do written work such as paper, books, ink, pencils, pens, paper clamps, and others. ATK is a supporting tool that has an important role in implementing the administrative function of a company or agency. The management of ATK procurement in the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) is under the coordination of the Directorate of Infrastructure, Facilities, and Campus Environmental Security (DPSPLK) as a coordination unit at the central level. So far, the procurement of ATK in every work unit in the IPB environment uses a direct purchase method. Direct purchasing methods cause problems and weaknesses, including: (1) price differences between providers for the same goods, (2) the quality of providers varies because each work unit directly selects providers, (3) vulnerability to price manipulation, (4) needed storage space for goods in each unit, (5) management and organization of ATK data are carried out partially in each work unit. Atk data management and organization have not been systemized, making it difficult for DPSPLK to reconcile data. An umbrella contract procurement method (framework contract) is applied to deal with problems in the direct purchase method. Management and organization of unsystematic ATK data, an integrated information system is built to facilitate DPSPLK reconciling data for reporting needs. The information system development method uses the waterfall method and testing using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) black-box type. Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas menghadapi keterbatasan dalam aktivitas fisik, mental, atau sensorik, mempengaruhi mobilitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, Khususnya dalam aktivitas harian yang melibatkan pergerakan, seperti pengisian air minum untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia sehari-hari, mobilitas memiliki peran krusial. Penelitian ini berfokus pada mengembangkan prototype alat pendukung aktivitas untuk penyandang disabilitas fisik menggunakan teknologi Arduino Uno. Alat ini menggunakan sensor ultrasonik untuk mendeteksi gelas khusus dan mengatur aliran air secara otomatis, memulai pengisian saat air mencapai 0 cm dan menghentikan saat mencapai 5 cm. Notifikasi pengisian dikirim melalui Ethernet Shield ke aplikasi Telegram. Modul Bluetooth HC-05 digunakan untuk menghubungkan alat dengan aplikasi Bluetooth RC Controller, memungkinkan pengendalian perangkat via smartphone. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan teknologi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi penyandang disabilitas fisik dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, khususnya dalam mengambil air minum. Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah pengguna internet telah berhasil meningkatkan beban pada web server, mengakibatkan risiko overload dan penurunan kinerja layanan. Sistem load balancing menjadi solusi penting untuk mendistribusikan permintaan layanan secara merata. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem load balancing berbasis metode Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) pada server web dengan menggunakan Raspberry Pi sebagai platform komputasi. Metode ini dijalankan untuk memprediksi beban CPU berdasarkan data time series, memungkinkan distribusi beban yang lebih akurat dan dioptimalkan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan peningkatan total permintaan sebesar 4%, penurunan waktu respons rata-rata sebesar 9%, pengurangan tingkat error sebesar 32%, dan peningkatan throughput sebesar 12%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting pada pengembangan sistem load balancing berbasis prediksi yang lebih disesuaikan terhadap pola lalu lintas dinamis, sekaligus menawarkan solusi hemat biaya untuk implementasi pada skala kecil.

Abstract

Web server adalah perangkat lunak yang menyediakan layanan berbasis data dan merespons permintaan dari web browser, Akan tetapi masalah umum yang dihadapi oleh server web, seperti lalu lintas tinggi, waktu henti, beban yang tidak merata, dan pemilihan server yang tidak tepat dapat mengurangi kinerja dan efiensi sistem, masalah tersebut juga dapat diatasi secara efektif melalui berbagai teknik Load Balance. Teknik load balancing adalah proses mendistribusikan beban kerja di berbagai sumber daya komputasi untuk mengoptimalkan waktu respon dan meningkatkan kinerja sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja web server melalui implementasi sistem load balancing berbasis metode Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Teknik ini diterapkan untuk memprediksi penggunaan Central Processing Unit/Processor (CPU) dan mengarahkan lalu lintas ke server dengan beban paling ringan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan throughput dan total request pada server sebesar 27% dan 58%, serta penurunan waktu respon rata-rata dan persentase error sekitar 18% dan 46%. Metode ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap optimasi kinerja sistem dan manajemen sumber daya komputasi, serta dapat mengatasi masalah beban yang tidak merata dan pemilihan server yang tidak tepat secara efektif.
