Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, and men have a 1: 1000 chance of developing this disease. One in three people in the world will create some form of cancer in their lifetime, and in women, the most likely is breast cancer. This research is defined as an analytical study which aims to obtain an explanation of the risk factors associated with a disease. The method used was observational with a case-control approach, which is an epidemiological study design that studies the relationship between exposure and disease by comparing the case group and the control group, the sample size in the study, both cases and controls, each of 30 people. Based on the results of the study, age is a protective factor against the incidence of breast cancer at Undata Hospital Palu with an OR = 0.87 95% CI = 0.316-2.14, age of menarche is a risk factor for breast cancer with an OR = 1.52 CI 95% = 0.53-4.36, age at first gestation is a risk factor for the incidence of breast cancer in Undata Palu Hospital OR = 1.31 95% CI = 0.47-3.65, a history of breast cancer is a risk factor for the incidence of breast cancer in RSUD Undata Palu OR = 1.30 95% CI = 0.47-3.61. The hospital should cooperate with the city and provincial health offices in terms of promotion and prevention of breast cancer so that people know about breast cancer risk factors and people can carry out early detection so that breast cancer can be prevented or detected early and people living with breast cancer can be reduced by checking your breasts (BSE).

Abstract

Audiovisual media are media for information delivery with audio (sound) characteristics and visual  (picture. By selecting audiovisual media of health counseling, these media offer interesting counseling in which audiovisual media can facilitate information delivery or message from communicator to communicant. This research aims to determine the effect of audiovisual media on the science and behavior of malnutrition of an infant's mother at Desa Guntarano Tanantovea district of Donggala Regency. This quantitative research population is 35 people when all population members are used as a sample. Sample selection used the Non-Probability Sampling technique. Data analysis used simple linear regression with value α= 5%. Research findings show a significant effect between audiovisual media toward science and behavior of malnutrition of infant's mother with sig score 0,000 and 0,000 (Sig<0,05). It is suggested for mothers to be more active in seeking information about prevention so that infant's mother's malnutrition does not happen.

Abstract

Meningkatnya prevalensi penyakit HIV-AIDS di Indonesia disebabkan rendahnya keinginan individu yang berisiko datang ke tempat Counseling And Voluntary Testing (VCT). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) pada Waria dengan pendekatan Health Belief Model (HBM) melalui Pendidikan Kesehatan di Sulawesi Tengah. Menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan one group pre test post test design, dengan jumlah 95 sampel. Analisa data dengan Uji Mann Witney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Hasil penelitian menunjukan responden umumnya berumur 21-25 (34,7%), ber pendidikan SMA 88,4%. Sebelum diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan dengan Pendekatan Health Belief Model responden yang berkeyakinan kuat hanya 54,7%, setelah diberikan intervensi responden yang berkeyakinan kuat meningkat menjadi 65,3%. Ada pengaruh persepsi responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan health belief model melalui pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pemanfaatan voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) pada waria di Sulawesi Tengah dengan p-value = 0,000 (<0,05). Kesimpulan bahwa dengan uji statistik Mann-Whitney Test. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar UPT Promosi Kesehatan dan Komisi penanggulangan HIV AIDS selalu mensosialisasikan tentang pendidikan kesehatan pemanfaatan VCT dengan pendekatan health belief model agar dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan persepsi masyarakat terutama populasi dengan risiko tinggi penyakit HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

The flash flood disaster hit Galumpang Village, Aung Village and Bajungan Village in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi on Wednesday morning 23 March 2022. Due to the large number of victims of flash floods and the urgent needs of victims of flash floods, the Civitas Academic of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu provided humanitarian aid for victims of flash floods in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. Humanitarian assistance in the form of ready-to-eat food, rice, Toothpaste, Soap, Sunlight, Shampoo, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Tea, Sugar, Bucket, Dipper, Mask and Pampers Children under two. The assistance was handed over by the Chief Community Service Officer to the Head of Galumpang Village on April 1, 2022 at the Disaster Management Command Post in Galumpang Village, Dakopamean District, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. The flash flood victim’s community as beneficiaries have received assistance from the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu Academic Community through Community Service activities.   ABSTRAK Bencana banjir bandang telah menghantam Desa Galumpang, Desa Aung dan Desa Bajungan di Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah pada Rabu dini hari tanggal 23 Maret 2022. Oleh karena besarnya jumlah korban banjir bandang dan kebutuhan korban banjir bandang yang mendesak, maka Civitas Akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan korban banjir bandang di Kabupaten Tolitoli Sulawesi Tengah. Bantuan kemanusian berupa makanan siap saji, beras, Pasta Gigi, Sabun, Sunlight, Shampoo, Susu Kental Manis, Teh, Gula Pasir, Ember, Gayung, masker dan Pampers Baduta. Bantuan diserahkan oleh Ketua Pelaksana Pengabdian Masyarakat kepada Kepala Desa Galumpang pada tanggal 01 April 2022 di Posko Induk Penanggulangan Bencana Desa Galumpang Kecamatan Dakopamean Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah. Masyarakat korban banjir bandang sebagai penerima manfaat telah menerima bantuan dari Civitas Akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Measles in Health Center Donggala increase from year 2014 - 2015 ie from 3 cases to 31 cases precisely in Hamlet Village Wandu Salubomba with incidence rate of 27.6%. Measles immunization coverage per year is not the UCI (<85%) and there are still many people who do not understand about balanced nutrition in the family as well as 35% of the villagers Salubomba children are in the age group 0-15 years were estimated susceptible to measles. These conditions allow a risk factor for the incidence of measles in the hamlet village Wandu Salubomba ie age, immunization status and nutritional status. This study aims to determine risk factors for incidence of measles in the hamlet Wandu Salubomba Village Health Center Donggala. Research is a kind of case control analytic approach that is by comparing the case group and the control group. The sample in this study is total cases: 31 patients and 31 children as controls. The results showed that age, immunization status and nutritional status is a risk factor incidence of measles with OR = 2.07 (CI = 0.17 to 24.0), OR 3.38 (CI = 1.18 to 9.7) and OR = 3.81 (CI = 1.33 - 10.9). This study suggested that Health Center should conduct more thorough counseling and continuing the Hamlet Village Wandu Salubomba particular and the whole society in Puskesmas Donggala in general in order to increase knowledge about measles Keywords: Age, Measles, Nutrition, Measles
