Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to examine the effect of variable Investment Knowledge, Investment Benefit, Investment Motivation, Investment Capital Minimum and Investment Return on Investment Interest in Capital Market Study in Faculty of Economics and Business University of Mataram Student. This type of research is a associative research with quantitative methods. The sample in this study was obtained by cluster sampling method. Based on the existing criteria, there were 60 student of Faculty Economics and Business which is the sample in this study is 36 Accounting Student, 18 Management student and 6 Economics Student that became the study sample. The data source used in this study is primary data, the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the Investment Knowledge, Investment Motivation and Investment Minimum Capital whose coefficients are positive but have no significant effect on Investment Interest. Other variable in this research Investment Benefits and Investment Return coefficient was positive and significant towards the Investment Interest. Based on the results of the F test showed that the feasibility in the model obtained a significance value of 0,000 <0.05, indicating that the test model is feasible to be used in research. The predictive ability of the five variables on the Investment Interest of 50.5% as shown by the size of the adjusted R square of 0.505 while the remaining 49.5% is explained by other factors not included in the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy, technological literacy, and ERM practices on the performance of SMEs in East Lombok Regency. The type of research used in this research is associative research. The object of this research is SME actors who are engaged in the creative economy sector. The research population is 1,323 SMEs and the sample of this study is 50 respondents. The data collection method used is the survey sample method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used in this study was interviews by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The type of data used in this study is qualitative data which is quantified using a Likert scale. The data source is in the form of primary data where the data is obtained directly from the owners of SMEs. The analytical tool used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. Based on the results of the study, it was found that of the three variables that affect the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in East Lombok Regency, only one variable has a positive and significant effect, namely the Financial Literacy variable (X1). Meanwhile, technological literacy (X2) and ERM practice (X3) have a positive but not significant effect on the performance of SMEs..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Cognitive Bias on Company Performance with Investment Decisions as an Intervening Variable in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Lombok Island during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The theoretical contribution of this research is expected to contribute to science and theory development behavioral finance related to investment decision making and company performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In addition, it is also expected that behavioral finance will become the subject of discussion in financial management courses. Furthermore, the practical contribution of this research is expected to provide input, suggestions and recommendations to the policy makers of the NTB Provincial Government in making policies related to the development of SMEs. This research is a quantitative approach-based research, with explanatory research as the type of research. The research population is all SMEs on the island of Lombok. The sampling technique was carried out using non-probability sampling, namely using judgment sampling, namely selecting SMEs engaged in the pottery industry and already exporting. From the existing population, there are 34 (thirty four) SMEs that can be taken as samples. Respondents in this study are the owners of each of these SMEs. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. In order to achieve the research objectives and to test the hypothesis, the data obtained will be processed as needed using the GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis) statistical tool. The results of the study show that Cognitive Bias have a positive and significant effect on company performance. The decision to place funds for working capital does not intervene with Cognitive Bias on Company Performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Lombok Island during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Most of them have high school and university education and the length of business is more than 15 (fifteen) years.
