Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that influence Indonesian customers in purchasing decisions for halal food. The approach taken uses the theory of planned behavior (TPB) because this theory emphasizes the aspects of individual behavior in making purchase decisions. Data obtained from distributing e-questionnaires with random sampling technique. The data is processed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that all TPB constructs have a significant influence on the purchase of halal food by Indonesian customers. This research adds to and expands our knowledge of the halal food purchasing decision, as well as identifying the rationales for halal food purchases. From a managerial standpoint, the findings support investment decisions and relate to Indonesia's growth as a halal hub (supply chain) that addresses and considers the concerns and needs of businesses and Indonesian government agencies..

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there has been a change in the pattern of consumption of halal food during a pandemic. This study used a sample of the Soloraya Residence with a random sampling distribution technique using an online questionnaire (G-form). The quantitative research method is carried out using the Extended TPB approach, and processed with the Structural Equation Modeling Technique. The results show that all constructs namely attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, religiosity and descriptive norms affect the purchase intention of halal food and the decision to buy halal food. By using a pandemic condition as a dummy variable, the results obtained are differences in decision making to buy halal food before and during a pandemic. This means that there is a pattern of changes in people's consumption that tends to choose halal food, even though the changes are small.

Abstract

Technological progress will be in line with the development of science. Innovation was created to provide positive benefits and convenience for human life. This study aims to see the public acceptance of the use of online financing applications called P2P Lending. The approach is made by using the Technology Acceptance Model Theory with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that all constructs consisting of PEoU, PU, Attitude, Behavior Intention to Use and Actual System Use have a significant effect (α <0.05). The conclusion tells us that convenience will create a positive user experience (useful) so that it has an impact on the attitude of using the P2P lending platform. A continuous attitude will form habits, which will eventually reach a high frequency of use (addiction) and create user satisfaction. At the level of user satisfaction, this means that acceptance from P2P Lending is welcomed and enthusiastic for millennials and has the potential to threaten traditional microfinance (disruptive) like BMT.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the role division of husband and wife in dual earner families based on gender. Basically, gender roles can be defined as the social relationship between husband and wife and the social construction resulted from that relationship. The consequence is the roles division based on gender may vary between communities, but it can be analyzed by its types (patrilineal, matrilineal, and egalitarian). This research was conducted purposively in Seputih Mataram Sub-district of Central Lampung Regency of Lampung Province by survey method.  The research samples were 85 dual earner families, in which husband and wife of the family work as laborers in agricultural or agro-industry companies. The results of this research indicated that the family of agro-industry workers belonged to the patrilineal type family. Patrilineality in the family could be based on the division of family gender roles. Gender roles in the domestic sphere was  charged to wives and in the social sphere was charged to husbands. This happens because of the social construction process that has been going on from one generation to another. It could be proven, for example, by meeting invitations on social activities from the village office are often addressed to husbands. In the domestic area, the division of gender roles is based on the division of tasks based on gender appropriateness, for example the task of cooking is charged to the wife and the task of repairing the house is charged to the husband.
