Abstract

This study aimed to examine the impact of Employee Friendliness, Food Quality, Food and Beverage Options, and Ambience on Customer Satisfaction and the frequency of eating through Word of Mouth mediation. The distribution of questionnaires was used in this study to obtain samples as analysis material to be processed. Purposive sampling was used to select 153 millennial customer respondents for the study, which was then analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) method. AMOS is used in this SEM method (Moment Structure Analysis). According to the findings of this study, there is a significant positive effect of Employee Friendliness on Overall Customer Satisfaction. Overall, Customer Satisfaction influences Word of Mouth positively. Dining Frequency is significantly influenced by word of mouth. Customer Satisfaction, mediated by word of mouth, significantly affects Dining Frequency. By conducting field surveys, producers and owners of food trucks are encouraged to improve food quality, variety of food sold, taste, and atmosphere to contribute to the growth and popularity of food trucks among millennials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan pada tulisan siswa, salah satunya adalah penggalan kalimat. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis analisis dokumen. Pengambilan sampel data dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 5 partisipan, dengan jumlah populasinya 22 partisipan. Data yang peneliti lakukan adalah analisis dokumen tugas menulis akademik mahasiswa, berupa menganalisis kalimat tanpa kata kerja atau subjek, kalimat tanpa huruf kapital, kalimat dengan tanda baca yang tidak tepat, dan kalimat tanpa klausa utama atau independen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tugas menulis akademik. Analisis data menggunakan bentuk kuis oleh Arnold (2017). Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh tugas I < tugas II, dengan selisih total 51 skor. Konstruksi masing-masing jenis penggalan kalimat yang terdapat pada tugas penulisan skripsi mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Putra Indonesia “YPTK” Padang tidak lengkap.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan tata bahasa yang ditemukan dalam naskah percakapan siswa. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya tata bahasa dalam memfasilitasi percakapan yang akurat dan bermakna. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode campuran kualitatif-kuantitatif untuk mengelaborasi persentase numerik dan mendeskripsi kesalahan pada grammar. Data diambil dari kertas ujian siswa dan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik random purposive sampling. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Ada 30 siswa yang berpartisipasi. Penelitian ini menemukan ada 87 kesalahan tata bahasa yang ditemukan dalam naskah percakapan siswa yang dipisahkan menjadi kesalahan urutan kata (24,14%), kesalahan penggunaan kata ganti (12,64%), kesalahan penggunaan kata benda (4,60%), kesalahan penggunaan artikel ( 8,05%), kesalahan verb tense (42,53%), penyalahgunaan kata depan (3,45%), penyalahgunaan pasif (3,45%), dan kesalahan penggunaan kata tanya (1,15%). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan tata bahasa paling banyak ditemukan pada kesalahan penggunaan kata kerja dan urutan kata.

Abstract

The use of Online translation (OT) for doing English assignments is now inevitable. Teachers neither can prevent their students to use OT nor can supervise it when all of the learning process has been running online from home to home. Therefore, both teachers and students should bring out the advantages of OT to improve English competence and to reduce the disadvantages of using OT. This study is aimed to investigate the students’ perspectives of using OT for doing English assignments and to describe the advantages and disadvantages of OT. The study is presented in descriptive qualitative design. The data collection instruments are questionnaires and open-ended questions. The participants are 198 students of Information system department, University of Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang. The findings of this study showed that for about 80% of English students depend their English assignments on OT. Based on the EFL students’ perspective, the advantages of using OT are time saver and instant results and the disadvantages of using OT are inaccuracy in the results relate to cultural context, idiom, sentences with metaphor and pragmatic aspects for learning the structure of English language. The study proposes some ideas for teachers to teach their students strategies and guidance for using OT properly and to avoid making mistakes. Abstract

The research was conducted aiming to an analysis of students’ ability in writing descriptive texts at the ninth grade of SMPIT Sabbihisma Padang. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The subjects of this study were the 32 students of the IX-1 class. The research investigated the descriptive writing text which had been done by the ninth-grade students of SMPIT Sabbihisma Padang. The researcher analyzed the students’ writing results referring to the five aspects. They were organization ideas, developed ideas, grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics. After analyzing the texts written by the student, the researcher categorizes them into four categories, namely excellent, good, fair, and poor. The result is 1 student or 3, 13%, there are 6 students or 18, 75%, there are 3 students or 9, 37%, and there are 22 students or 68, 75%. The average students’ capability in writing descriptive text is poor. The problems faced are (1) the students have problems with the limited number of vocabulary, (2) developing the idea in a descriptive text, (3) grammar mastery. Grammar mastery is the most problem faced by the students. The causes of the problem are (1) students’ low motivation, (2) Understanding.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a product in the form of perspective (wisdom) character education guidebook based on traditional game for children aged 10-12 years. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE type. There were ten certified teachers from Sleman, Bantul, Gunung Kidul, Kulon Progo, Muntilan, Cilacap, Malang, West Kalimantan, and Bali who got involved for the the requirement analysis, ten validators to become judgment experts, and eight children aged 10-12 years who were involved in limited product trials. The results of this study show that 1) The traditional game based character education manual was developed through the ADDIE steps (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate, 2) The manual has a score of 3,87 (range 1-4) with "Excellent" qualifications, as well as the suggestion "No revision needed", 3) The implementation of the guidebook is able to influence the broad-minded character of a child which was gained by the results of the significance test that the average of the final self-assessment (Mdn = 3,950) higher than the initial self-assessment (Mdn = 2,400) with z (7) = 2,53, p = 0,011 (p < 0.05). The manual has a "very large" effect with r = 0.6325 which is equivalent to 40.01%. From the effectiveness rate obtained, the N-gain score is 86.307%, which includes into "high" category.

Abstract

Era digital telah membawa transformasi signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam sektor ekonomi. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah menciptakan model ekonomi baru yang lebih dinamis, terbuka, dan terintegrasi secara global. Dalam konteks ini, hukum memainkan peran strategis sebagai instrumen pengendali dan pengarah pembangunan ekonomi agar tetap berada dalam koridor kepastian, keadilan, dan keberlanjutan. Artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana hukum dapat berfungsi sebagai landasan normatif dalam mengatur aktivitas ekonomi digital, mencegah praktik yang merugikan kepentingan publik, serta mendorong inovasi dan investasi yang sehat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah yuridis-normatif dengan analisis terhadap berbagai regulasi terkait ekonomi digital, perlindungan data, hak kekayaan intelektual, serta transaksi elektronik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan sistem hukum yang adaptif dan responsif menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan ekosistem ekonomi digital yang inklusif dan kompetitif. Oleh karena itu, reformasi hukum yang progresif dan penguatan kelembagaan menjadi langkah strategis dalam mengoptimalkan peran hukum sebagai penggerak pembangunan ekonomi nasional di era digital

Abstract

Film berjudul “Sampai Nanti, Hanna!” sangat unik dengan tindak tutur yang kontras antara konteks pertemanan dan konteks domestik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang tindak tutur permintaan dan penolakan, dan kaitannya dengan konteks tuturan, hubungan dan status sosial penutur dan lawan tutur. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan mengumpulkan 13 dialog yang berisi tuturan permintaan dan respon terhadap tuturan tersebut. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik simak, rekam dan catat dari dialog di dalam film. Data dianalisis menggunakan taxonomy permintaan dari Blum-Kulka, dkk., (1989) dan Altameemy, dkk., (2024) dan penolakan dari Beebe (1990) dan Garcia, (2024). Hasil penelitian menemukan terdapat tindak tutur permintaan untuk bantuan, permintaan sikap/perbuatan dan permintaan ijin. Sedangkan semua tindak tutur penolakan merupakan jenis penolakan terhadap sikap/perbuatan. Jenis tindak tutur penolakan yang digunakan hampir semuanya menggunakan tindak tutur tidak langsung, kecuali dalam hubungan hierarki antara suami ke istri dan dari ibu ke anak dalam konteks domestik. Strategi tuturan yang digunakan sangat tergantung pada hierarki dalam hubungan sosial penutur dan lawan tutur.
