Abstract

Implementasi manajemen pendidikan inklusif dalam perspektif Tafsir Al-Mishbah terhadap Q.S. ‘Abasa Ayat 1–10 dengan landasan bahwa pendidikan inklusif merupakan mandat etik, sosial, dan spiritual yang menegaskan hak setara setiap individu untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang bermartabat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis nilai Qur’ani yang terkandung dalam ayat tersebut sebagai dasar penguatan manajemen pendidikan inklusif serta merumuskan model implementatif yang mengintegrasikan nilai keadilan (‘adl), kesetaraan (musāwah), dan kasih sayang (raḥmah) ke dalam kerangka manajemen POAC dan pendekatan Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka melalui analisis tafsir tematik, penguatan teori manajemen, serta sintesis literatur pendidikan modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Q.S. ‘Abasa Ayat 1–10 memberikan fondasi etik anti-diskriminasi yang menegaskan pemuliaan martabat pencari ilmu tanpa memandang kondisi fisik maupun status sosial. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Qur’ani dapat dioperasionalkan melalui perencanaan kurikulum adaptif, pengorganisasian layanan inklusif, pelaksanaan pembelajaran empatik, dan pengawasan berbasis indikator keadilan serta pengalaman belajar bermakna. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai Qur’ani, POAC, dan UDL menghadirkan model manajemen pendidikan inklusif yang humanis, sistematis, aplikatif, serta mampu menjembatani kesenjangan antara idealitas kebijakan dan praktik nyata di lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

Character education in contemporary Islamic education faces a persistent challenge of fragmentation between cognitive achievement, moral formation, and spiritual orientation. This article aims to examine QS. Al-Baqarah: 124–141 as a Qur’anic framework for character education pedagogy through the perspective of Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab, and to analyze its relevance for strengthening Islamic character education in modern contexts. This study employs a qualitative library research approach using thematic analysis grounded in the tafsir tarbawi framework. Primary data consist of the Qur’an and Tafsir Al-Misbah, while secondary data are drawn from reputable academic journals and scholarly works on character education and Islamic pedagogy. The analysis demonstrates that QS. Al-Baqarah: 124–141 does not merely present a collection of normative moral values, but articulates a coherent system of character education pedagogy operating through a staged and sustained process. The concept of imāmah functions as a pedagogical mechanism for character formation through moral testing; imāmah is positioned as moral leadership legitimized by proven integrity; prayer serves as an instrument of spiritual education that integrates reflective awareness and transcendental dependence within the educational process; and the emphasis on transgenerational continuity highlights the long-term orientation of Qur’anic character education. These findings indicate that the narrative of Prophet Ibrahim constitutes an integrative and process-oriented model of Qur’anic character pedagogy rather than a static moral exemplar. The novelty of this study lies in conceptualizing QS. Al-Baqarah: 124–141 as a Qur’anic character pedagogy framework grounded in prophetic leadership and transgenerational moral responsibility, moving beyond the conventional approach of moral value classification. This study contributes theoretically to Islamic character education by emphasizing pedagogical processes, moral leadership, and the sustainability of values in response to contemporary educational challenges.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the dominant use of the murabahah contract in contemporary Islamic economic practices, which is often understood in a technical-formal manner, thus potentially obscuring the value dimensions and ethical learning contained therein. This study aims to analyze the value dimensions and ethical learning in the murabahah concept based on the verses of the Qur'an on trade and usury and their interpretation in Buya Hamka's Tafsir al-Azhar. The research method used is qualitative with a library research design and a normative-interpretative approach, with data sources consisting of the Qur'an, Tafsir al-Azhar, and scientific literature related to Islamic economics and the ethics of muamalah. The results of the discussion indicate that murabahah obtains Qur'anic legitimacy because it is based on a fair, transparent, and exchange-based buying and selling mechanism based on real benefits, which is fundamentally different from usury which is exploitative. The research findings confirm that according to Buya Hamka, murabahah is not only an economic contract, but also a medium for internalizing Islamic educational values ​​that instill honesty, justice, trustworthiness, and social responsibility, and will lose its ethical meaning if carried out formally. The implications of this research indicate that strengthening murabahah practices requires integration between legal compliance and value awareness, so that murabahah can function as an educational instrument for Islamic economic ethics that is in line with the objectives of sharia (maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah) and contemporary social needs.

Abstract

Islamic education has a strategic role in internalizing the values ​​of justice, humanity, and social responsibility derived from the Qur'an, particularly through the learning of inheritance law (mawaris) based on Surah An-Nisa' verses 7-11. This study aims to analyze the concept of inheritance from the perspective of Tafsir Al-Ṭhabari and its relevance in Islamic Education learning in Padang Pariaman. This study uses a qualitative method with a thematic-analytical interpretation approach combined with the tahlili and muqārin methods, with primary data sources in the form of the book Jāmi‘ al-Bayān fī Ta’wīl al-Qur’ān by Al-Ṭhabari and secondary data from authentic hadiths and Islamic interpretation and education literature. The results of the study indicate that Al-Ṭhabari interprets inheritance verses not merely as technical rules for the distribution of property, but as instruments of sharia to uphold distributive justice, protect vulnerable groups such as orphans and the poor, and instill moral responsibility in Muslim families. The research findings confirm that inheritance distribution, including the 2:1 ratio between men and women, is understood as contextual proportional justice, not gender discrimination. The implications of this study indicate that Islamic education learning needs to integrate normative, historical, and ethical aspects so that students not only understand inheritance law from a fiqh perspective but are also able to internalize the values ​​of social justice, caring, and trustworthiness in community life.

Abstract

This study aims to integrate the principles of shariah in Tafsir Ath-Thabari, such as justice, honesty, trustworthiness, and transparency, into the Islamic-based Strategic Management Accounting (SMA) system. Shariah-based SMA offers a holistic approach to business decision-making, balancing profitability, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability. Utilizing hermeneutic tafsir methods and thematic analysis, this research identifies the relevance of shariah values contained in Surah Al-Baqarah verses 282 and 283. The findings reveal that the principles of justice, honesty, trustworthiness, and transparency in Tafsir Ath-Thabari provide an ethical foundation for SMA, creating a system oriented toward sustainability and ethics. This study develops a shariah-based SMA model encompassing four stages: identification, strategy formulation, implementation, and continuous evaluation. The integration of these shariah values establishes business practices that not only support profitability but also maintain trust, accountability, and positive social impact. Islamic-based SMA is relevant as a solution to modern business challenges, offering a high-integrity framework aligned with shariah principles.

Abstract

This study examines public debate from an Islamic communication perspective, analyzing the jidal verses in the Tafsir Al-Misbah. The data collection method for this study was library research. The primary data was the Tafsir al-Misbah, while the secondary data consisted of a number of relevant literature, journals, books, articles, and books. The results indicate that the correct application of jidal ethics is expected to result in a positive and satisfactory conclusion to the debate for all parties, without causing hostility or harming any party. Public debate from an Islamic communication perspective, based on the Tafsir Al-Misbah, must be a constructive, ethical, dialogical process aimed at achieving mutual benefit, in accordance with the guidance of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Abstract

This study examines prophetic communication in the Qur’an through the interpretive framework of Tafsir Al-Mishbah by Muhammad Quraish Shihab and maps its major communicative strategies into a persuasive-dialogic model relevant to contemporary da'wah. The study employs a qualitative library research design with Tafsir Al-Mishbah as the primary source, supported by relevant scholarship in Qur’anic exegesis, Islamic communication, and contemporary religious communication. The unit of analysis consists of Quraish Shihab’s interpretive constructions of selected Qur’anic verses that reflect the communicative dimensions of prophethood. The analysis was conducted through thematic interpretation (tafsir mawḍū‘ī), close reading, thematic coding, and conceptual interpretation using persuasive, dialogic, and transcendental communication frameworks. The findings show that prophetic communication in Tafsir Al-Mishbah is structured through several interconnected strategies, namely tabshīr (encouragement and glad tidings), indzār (warning and moral caution), ḥiwār (dialogical engagement), and amtsāl (parable-based communication). These strategies are further guided by ethical principles such as ḥikmah, mau‘izhah ḥasanah, gentleness, and participatory engagement. The study concludes that prophetic communication in Tafsir Al-Mishbah constitutes a coherent model of transcendental communication that integrates persuasion, dialogue, symbolic teaching, and ethical responsibility.

Abstract

The Qur'an, as the word of God, serves various purposes in life, including healing diseases (syifa). As-syifā' in the Qur'an describes the function of the Qur'an as a healer for diseases, both physical and spiritual. Asy-Syifā' in the perspective of M. Quraish Shihab's interpretation of al-Mishbah emphasizes that the healing referred to in the Qur'an is not only spiritual and moral in nature, but also includes the physical dimension. Quraish Shihab also highlights that healing does not come solely from God but must also be accompanied by human effort. The Qur'an, Surah An-Nahl, verse 69, Quraish Shihab, through the interpretation of Al-Misbah, bees and honey as symbols of moral and social examples, where honey is a healing gift, and bees are an image of creatures that are obedient, productive, and provide benefits to all. This study uses a literature review approach (library research), namely examining various academic sources such as books, scientific journals, research reports, and official documents relevant to Asy-Syifā’ in the Qur’an: Analysis of Surah An-Nahl Verse 69 from the Perspective of Al-Misbah's Interpretation. The purpose of this study is to examine honey as a treatment for physical ailments in Surah An-Nahl Verse 69.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of hiwār (dialogue) in the Qur’an through the perspective of Tafsir al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The main issue addressed is the decline of communication ethics in the modern era and how the principles of Qur’anic dialogue can serve as a reference for building harmonious communication. Using a thematic-hermeneutic approach, this study seeks to describe the forms, principles, and functions of hiwār based on verses containing dialogue, such as those in QS. al-Kahfi, al-Mujadalah, Ali Imran, Ghafir, al-Hajj, and al-Syura. The method employed is a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach through direct analysis of Tafsir al-Mishbah and other supporting references. The results of the study indicate that dialogue in the Qur’an is rational, ethical, and solution-oriented; it emphasizes the importance of knowledge, humility, and the prohibition of baseless debate. Furthermore, the concept of ushul marji’iyah—adherence to the Qur’an and Sunnah—emerges as a fundamental principle in resolving differences. These findings affirm that the dialogue method from the perspective of Tafsir al-Mishbah is relevant for application in contemporary social and digital communication to prevent conflict and strengthen the value of brotherhood. This study contributes to the formulation of an applicable framework for Qur’anic communication ethics, emphasizing that hiwār is not merely theological in nature but also possesses a social dimension relevant to addressing the communication crisis in the modern era, particularly within the digital space, which is prone to conflict and disinformation. This makes this study relevant not only for academic research but also for the development of more inclusive and harmonious communication practices.

Abstract

Peran ayah dalam pendidikan anak dalam keluarga mendapatkan sorotan karena ditemukan berbagai penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa tingginya tingkat ketidakterlibatan ayah dalam pendidikan keluarga. Diskursus pada pendidikan anak, ditemukam bahwa sebagian besar ayah menganggap pendidikan anak merupakan tugas dan kewajiban seorang istri. Peran ayah tersebut sangat penting bagi pendidikan anak dan akan berdampak negatif bagi anak-anak yang tidak merasakan peran dan keterlibatan ayah dalam pendidikannya. Masalah tersebut akan dicarikan solusinya dalam al-Qur’an yaitu dengan mengkaji surat Luqman ayat 13-17 yang memberikan gambaran bagaimana peran penting seorang ayah dalam mendidik anaknya dalam Representasi Peran Ayah Dalam Pendidikan Anak (Analisis Tafsir Tarbawi dalam Perspektif Buya Hamka). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan analisis conten (content analysis). Penelitian termasuk ke dalam kategori penelitian kualitatif yaitu menghasilkan data yang deskriptif berupa kata-kata. Untuk memahami ayat al-Qur’an dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode corak tafsir tarbawi dalam pandangan Buya Hamka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada tiga peran ayah dalam Surat Luqman tersebut yaitu: pertama, peran ayah terhadap pendidikan akidah anak dalam surat Luqman ayat 13-17; kedua, peran ayah terhadap pendidikan ibadah anak dalam surat Luqman ayat 13-17; ketiga, peran ayah terhadap pendidikan akhlak anak dalam surat Luqman ayat 13-17.
