Abstract

Pengelasan Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) merupakan salah satu metode yang banyak digunakan dalam industri manufaktur. Pada posisi 2G, kualitas sambungan sangat dipengaruhi oleh gravitasi yang menarik cairan logam las, sehingga pengaturan parameter, khususnya besaran arus, menjadi faktor krusial. Arus yang terlalu kecil menyebabkan penetrasi dangkal dan sambungan lemah, sedangkan arus terlalu besar berisiko menimbulkan cacat seperti porositas dan undercut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan arus optimal untuk pengelasan SMAW posisi 2G pada baja karbon rendah dengan ketebalan 8 mm, 10 mm, dan 12 mm. Proses pengelasan menggunakan elektroda LB-52 jenis E7016 dengan variasi arus 90 A, 100 A, dan 110 A. Pengujian tarik dilakukan pada masing-masing kombinasi arus dan ketebalan, dengan tiga kali pengulangan. Uji tambahan juga dilakukan pada arus 70 A dan 80 A untuk ketebalan 10 mm. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa arus 90 A menghasilkan kekuatan tarik tertinggi pada ketebalan 8 mm (353,26 kg/mm²), sedangkan untuk ketebalan 10 mm dan 12 mm, kekuatan tarik tertinggi diperoleh pada arus 110 A, masing-masing sebesar 472,13 kg/mm² dan 605,40 kg/mm². Namun, pada ketebalan 10 mm, selisih kekuatan tarik antara arus 90 A dan 110 A hanya sekitar 2,3%, sehingga 90 A lebih efisien dari sisi konsumsi energi. Pengamatan lainnya menunjukkan bahwa pada arus 70 A dan 80 A, seluruh spesimen patah di daerah las, menandakan kekuatan sambungan rendah. Dengan mempertimbangkan efisiensi energi, kekuatan sambungan, dan lokasi patahan, arus 90 A direkomendasikan sebagai titik optimal untuk pengelasan SMAW posisi 2G baja karbon rendah pada ketebalan tipis hingga sedang

Abstract

PT. Soemo Adjie Persada is a company engaged in housing development and is dealing with serious problems in warehouse material management. The manual and unstructured material recording system causes various obstacles, such as data discrepancies, input errors, and stockouts that hamper the smooth running of the project. This study aims to analyze and implement the Kanban system as a more efficient and accurate material management solution. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation methods. The findings show that the Kanban system, which is based on the principle of workflow visualization and a pull system mechanism, can improve the efficiency of recording and distributing materials between project units. The implementation of Kanban helps reduce data input errors, prevent material loss, and accelerate the decision-making process in the warehouse. Although challenges such as damaged Kanban cards and difficulty adapting among users were encountered in the initial implementation stage, these obstacles can be overcome through proper training and regular evaluation of the system. Thus, the implementation of the Kanban system has proven to be an effective strategy in improving the efficiency of material management in construction projects. This system not only streamlines warehouse operations but also improves control over material availability, thereby supporting the smooth running of the overall construction process. PT. Abstract

Each employee is assigned a specific workload, and each employee's workload must be appropriate and balanced with the physical and mental abilities of the worker receiving the workload. This study aims to determine the extent of the physical and mental workload of knitted fabric Quality Control (QC) operators at PT XYZ. Physical workload was measured using the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method, and mental workload was measured using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA TLX). The measurements show that the QC operators' physical workload reached 141.03%, placing them in the Overload category. Meanwhile, the mental workload measurement shows an average score of 70.22, categorizing them as high. Based on these results, several workload balancing efforts can be implemented. Physical workload balancing can be achieved by reducing the amount of work to be completed and adding one more member to the QC team. Meanwhile, mental workload balancing can be achieved by rewarding operators who successfully complete large quantities of fabric quality control work, and retraining them every six months is necessary.

Abstract

PT. Lotus Indah Textile Industries, a manufacturing company in the open-end yarn spinning sector, faces significant issues related to defective products in its production process. This study aims to identify the level of human error among open-end machine operators and analyze the root causes of these errors. The methods employed include the Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) to calculate the Human Error Probability (HEP), as well as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with the 5 Whys approach to identify the root problems. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires during the period of May to June 2025. The results indicate that the activity of "pushing the full yarn so that it detaches from the holder and moves to the conveyor with the right hand" had the highest HEP value of 0.281996. The main root causes of human error include a lack of focus and accuracy among operators, rushing while working, limited experience, and insufficient training and periodic evaluations of employee effectiveness by the company. The impact of these errors results in defective products such as dirty yarn and rolls that do not meet standards. As an improvement recommendation, the company is advised to conduct periodic evaluations of operator effectiveness after training to enhance productivity and provide feedback, as well as to establish clear procedures for the doffing process of yarn on open-end machines to reduce errors. This study is expected to assist the company in improving operator performance, reducing human error rates, and minimizing defective products.

Abstract

Work fatigue is a significant issue faced by employees in Indonesia, with approximately 65% experiencing symptoms that reduce their concentration and performance. Excessive workload, particularly mental workload, can result in cognitive strain and decreased productivity. This study aims to measure the level of mental workload experienced by quality control employees at PT Delta Dunia Tekstil I using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. The research also investigates the relationship between employees’ age, length of service, and perceived mental workload through T-tests and F-tests to provide a more comprehensive analysis. Data were collected from 20 quality control employees who are responsible for monitoring textile production under strict standards. Results from NASA-TLX calculations indicate that the average mental workload falls within the high category, with effort and own performance emerging as the dominant dimensions contributing to mental strain. Correlation analysis shows a negative but not statistically significant relationship between age, length of service, and mental workload, suggesting that other factors play a stronger role in shaping employees’ perceptions. The study further highlights fluctuations in employee attendance and quality performance indicators, emphasizing the importance of workload evaluation. To address these issues, recommendations include adding more operators per machine, which is projected to reduce mental workload scores by approximately 33%. Such measures can optimize task distribution, improve efficiency, and promote employee well-being. Overall, the findings suggest that systematic workload assessments using tools such as NASA-TLX are essential for enhancing productivity and supporting sustainable human resource management in the textile industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, motivasi, dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai Diskominfo Kabupaten Klaten. Di tengah meningkatnya tuntutan akan layanan publik berkualitas dan transformasi digital, peningkatan kinerja karyawan menjadi hal yang esensial. Lingkungan kerja yang mendukung, motivasi yang kuat, dan pelatihan yang tepat dianggap sebagai faktor kunci yang memengaruhi produktivitas dan komitmen karyawan. Research gap penelitian ini adalah belum adanya kajian integratif mengenai ketiga variabel pada instansi pemerintah daerah berbasis layanan digital. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 53 responden, analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (R² = 0,710; Adjusted R² = 0,439; α=0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penyediaan lingkungan kerja kondusif, sistem motivasi yang adil, serta pelatihan yang relevan. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya strategi peningkatan motivasi dan desain pelatihan adaptif, sementara secara teoretis penelitian ini berkontribusi memperkaya literatur manajemen SDM sektor publik berbasis digital.

Abstract

 The post-pandemic conditions that have hit the country since March 2020 require people to think more creatively to move the wheels of the family economy. Especially as a housewife who plays a central role in the family, to support the family economy a housewife must have the ability or creativity, especially in the field of creative industry-based entrepreneurship. Through this community service activity the aim is 1) to empower groups of productive age housewives who desire to become an entrepreneur through entrepreneurial socialization; 2) to build talent for creative industry expertise in acupressure skills; 3) to increase the ability to use information technology as a marketing medium (digital marketing) for face-to-face home care by housewives affected by Covid-19 in Dukuh Gobayan; 4) increase knowledge and skills in the field of beauty, especially facial acupressure. The output of this program is a facial acupressure video tutorial. The results of this community service activity are that housewives have an entrepreneurial spirit, can use information technology as a marketing tool, and have acupressure skills.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs are the main actors in economic development with their function as innovators or creators of new creations. Entrepreneurship has many types and fields, one of which is broiler farming. Broiler farming can be done using cages with open house and closed house types. Broiler farming has a relatively short maintenance time, there are three maintenance phases, namely the pre-stater phase, stater phase, and finisher phase. In order to produce quality chickens, farmers must know how to raise broilers properly and recognize the various diseases that can infect broilers. Broiler farming with a partnership system is very helpful for farmers in terms of facilities and infrastructure for raising chickens and selling chickens. Closed house chicken cages with a colony system have the advantage of being able to maximize the number of chicken populations with limited land conditions, cleaner cages, faster chicken growth and are in accordance with standards for raising broiler chickens. However, colony type cages have disadvantages compared to postal type closed housed cages which are cheaper to build, and have lower operational costs.

Abstract

Pada beberapa kondisi krisis yang terjadi, masih banyak UMKM di Indonesia yang tetap tumbuh sehingga mampu menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian negara. Akan tetapi, umumnya UMKM tidak mampu mengelola kekayaan untuk meningkatkan keuntungan sehingga UMKM sulit tumbuh dan hanya berhenti pada skala mikro. Salah satu aspek yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya pertumbuhan UMKM adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang manajemen keuangan Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini fokus pada bagaimana memahamkan pelaku UMKM tentang manajemen keuangan yang baik sehingga dapat berdampak pada pengembangan usaha. Metode yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan sebagai bentuk sharing knowledge dan klinik konsultasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pelaku UMKM masih mencampur uang usaha dengan uang pribadi. Selain itu, pola pikir tidak ingin repot melakukan pencatatan juga menjadi kendala implementasi manajemen keuangan

Abstract

Aspek kehalalan produk tidak hanya menjadi perhatian bagi konsumen muslim, tetapi    juga mendapatkan respon yang baik dari konsumen non muslim. Hal tersebut dikarenakan menurut persepsi konsumen, produk yang bersertifikat halal berarti produk tersebut telah memenuhi jaminan kualitas, kebersihan, higienitas, dan keamanan untuk dikonsumsi.Pada penelitian sebelumnya sertifikasi halal ini mampu memperbaiki kinerja operasional dan finansial perusahaan tetapi itu bagi perusahaan besar belum berfokus pada UKM. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan bukti ilmiah dampak penerapan sertifikasi halal terhadap profitabilitas Perusahaan dan kinerja perusahaan pada UMKM khususnya produk makanan di kota Karanyangar dalam meningkatkan pendapatan. Metode Penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat statistik deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemilikan sertifikasi halal memberikan dampak positif terhadap profitabilitas dan kinerja operasional Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Karanganyar. Hal ini menunjukkan UMKM yang memiliki sertifikasi halal menunjukkan peningkatan profitabilitas yang signifikan dibandingkan sebelum memiliki sertifikasi halal. Hal ini terbukti melalui peningkatan Net Profit Margin, ROA, ROE yang lebih tinggi pada UMKM setelah bersertifikasi halal dibandingkan sebelum memiliki sertifikasi.
