Abstract

Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body and emotions go through big changes, which can make her feel more stressed and worried. Even though staying active is good for her health, many pregnant women don't take part in physical activities. This shows that there's a strong need for easy-to-reach, fun, and non-drug treatments that help moms feel better. A community program was created to help pregnant women learn more about their health, get emotional support, and stay fit through a digital yoga program called Prenatal Happy Yoga. The program included 27 pregnant women who were grouped by the trimesters. It had three parts: first, getting ready and checking their health, then having talks about mental health and doing yoga exercises that match each stage of pregnancy, all led by trained instructors. Lastly, they collected feedback from the participants. The program was based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, which looks at how attitudes, what others think, and how easy it is to do something influence healthy choices. The results showed that the women were very involved, loved the sharing sessions, and enjoyed the 50-minute yoga classes. After the program, they had a better understanding of how important it is to keep both their body and mind in balance during pregnancy. Even though there were some small technical problems, the program ran smoothly and shows promise for being used more widely as a digital health and prevention tool for pregnant women.

Abstract

AbstractCancer is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, including in Indonesia, necessitating promotive and preventive interventions from an early age. However, adolescents’ awareness of cancer remains low due to limited access to engaging and comprehensible information. This community service program aimed to enhance adolescents’ knowledge and awareness of cancer through the empowerment of School Health Unit (UKS) cadres using molecular edugame media. The activity was conducted at SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya and SMP IT Ustman Bin Affan from June until October 2025, involving 50 UKS adolescent cadres selected through total sampling. An educational-participatory approach was applied, utilizing molecular edugames Monocancer, Word Puzzle Game, and Flash Cards as the primary learning instruments. Data were collected using pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge improvement and observation to evaluate participation and media effectiveness. The findings demonstrated a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and awareness of cancer, with 60% achieving a high level, 30% a moderate level, and 10% a low level. These results indicate that molecular edugames are effective, interactive tools for adolescent cancer education. The program concludes that educational games represent an innovative strategy for school-based health promotion and recommends broader adoption through collaboration among schools, health professionals, and communities.

Abstract

This community service program focuses on improving clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) among children at the Community Learning Center (CLC) Kampung Melayu Sulaiman, Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia, a migrant community with limited access to health education. The program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and practices related to PHBS through structured and participatory educational activities. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed, involving students, teachers, and CLC administrators in the processes of needs identification, planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. Activities were carried out both online and onsite through health education sessions, handwashing and toothbrushing demonstrations, and the distribution of educational materials. The results indicate an improvement in students’ knowledge, basic PHBS skills, and behavioral changes such as washing hands before meals and maintaining personal hygiene. Overall, the program positively contributed to increasing children’s health awareness and strengthening teachers’ capacity to continue PHBS education independently
