Abstract

Indonesian adolescents increasingly rely on digital platforms as their main source for mental health information due to widespread internet access; consequently, digital health literacy is crucial to mitigate misinformation risks. The connection between digital health literacy and adolescents' mental health information-seeking behavior was analyzed in this study, which focused on those living in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. They hypothesized a positive association. A quantitative observational analytic cross-sectional design was employed for this study, which took place in May 2026. Multistage random sampling was used to select 162 students aged 15–18 from public and private senior high schools to participate. The Indonesian eHealth Literacy Scale (I-eHEALS) was used to assess their digital health literacy. A Health Information-Seeking Behavior instrument, comprising five domains, was used to measure information-seeking behavior. Supervised online questionnaires facilitated data collection, and Spearman's rank correlation was applied for analysis. Data revealed a mean digital health literacy score of 28.74 (SD 5.12) and a mean information-seeking behavior score of 68.31 (SD 11.47), showing a significant positive moderate correlation (ρ = 0.46, p < 0.001). This finding indicates that higher digital health literacy was associated with more directed searching, selective source choices, improved credibility evaluation, and constructive information use. The integration of critical digital health literacy into current school-based mental health programs is suggested by these findings for local health and education authorities. Digital health literacy significantly determines how adolescents seek information about mental health. Future longitudinal studies need to include more factors and validate instruments.

Abstract

Examining the effects of education level, accounting knowledge, and accounting training on the use of accounting information is the goal of this study. Additionally, it seeks to determine whether environmental uncertainty moderates these associations. The study uses the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).  With a coefficient of 0.328 and a t-statistic of 2.749, which are both above the crucial value of 1.96, the findings of the hypothesis test show that only Accounting Knowledge has a statistically significant effect on the usage of accounting information. Accounting training and educational attainment, however, do not appear to have a major impact.  Additionally, there is no moderating effect of environmental uncertainty on the associations among education level, accounting knowledge, and accounting training with regard to the use of accounting information.  According to these findings, improving accounting expertise helps encourage the use of accounting data in decision-making more than just boosting educational requirements or providing training that lacks meaningful content.  In order to improve the efficient use of accounting data, the study emphasizes how crucial it is that public sector enterprises give technical accounting skill development top priority.

Abstract

Digital transformation encourages non-formal education institutions to improve the effectiveness of administrative and learning management. However, many Course and Training Institutions (LKP) still use manual systems for managing participant data, schedules, payments, assessments, and communication, resulting in data duplication, delayed information delivery, and low operational efficiency. This research aims to develop a web-based Smart Learning Management Information System (SLMIS) at Everyone English Course Palembang to integrate administration, learning activities, payment management, assessment processes, notifications, and monitoring into a single platform. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method through an iterative approach and active user involvement. The system was designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), implemented using PHP and MySQL, and evaluated through functional testing. The results show that SLMIS improves data management efficiency, accelerates information delivery, reduces data redundancy, and provides analytical dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for administrators, instructors, students, parents, and institutional leaders

Abstract

In the digital era, SIMPT is expected to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing educational data and information. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and complexity of the implementation of the Integrated Education Management Information System (SIMPT) in educational institutions, especially in SMP Plus Darussalam. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation methods and in-depth interviews with stakeholders, such as principals, administrative staff, and teachers who use the system. This study will analyze: Improving Administrative Efficiency and Decision Making, Positive Impact on Learning and Communication Quality, Importance of User Training and Support, and Influence of Leadership and Organizational Culture. The results of the study indicate that SIMPT has great potential in supporting school administration processes more efficiently, reducing data duplication, and accelerating the flow of information. However, its implementation is not without challenges. Some of the main obstacles found include limited technological infrastructure, such as unstable internet networks, low digital literacy of some users, and resistance to changing manual to digital systems. In addition, the need for ongoing training for system users is also an important factor in supporting successful implementation. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen user capacity, policy support, and improve infrastructure to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of SIMPT in the long term.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education requires information systems to accommodate the distinctive characteristics of specialization-based education. However, general-purpose systems may not adequately support diverse learning activities, evidence, and student development pathways. This study aimed to identify functional gaps and requirements and develop a conceptual framework for a specialization-centered educational information system. The study used a qualitative case study at SMA Thursina IIBS, Malang, Indonesia, with semi-structured interviews with eight informants, focus group discussions, observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis identified four themes: existing functional gaps; system structure requirements; student development and evidence management; and flexible, integrated functionality. Findings were consolidated into six preliminary components: Specialization Student Database, Subject Learning, Seminar and Workshop, Apprenticeship, Project Portfolio, and Certificate of Completion. These informed a framework with four functions: specialization management; student development and evidence management; flexible learning and collaboration; and integrated information and reporting. The framework provides a basis for subsequent design, implementation, and empirical evaluation.

Abstract

The reliability of the Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) is essential for ensuring safety, passenger comfort, and service quality in railway transportation. In Passenger Coach 612, the running text display delivers real-time travel information, operational status, and safety messages. However, unstable power supply conditions, particularly under-voltage and over-voltage, frequently cause display malfunctions, operational interruptions, and hardware damage. This study proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based protection and monitoring system to detect voltage abnormalities and prevent equipment failure. The system employs an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller, an INA219 sensor for voltage and current measurement, and a relay module for automatic protection. Protection thresholds were set at 4.3 V for under-voltage and 5.7 V for over-voltage based on the EN 50155 standard and field observations. Operational data are transmitted in real time to an IoT platform and a Realtime Database, enabling remote web-based monitoring. Experimental results show that the proposed system accurately detects voltage disturbances, automatically disconnects the power supply under abnormal conditions, and provides reliable real-time monitoring. Sensor calibration yielded a correction factor of K = 0.981, with a voltage measurement error of only 0.02 V compared with a reference digital multimeter. The proposed system improves the reliability of the running text display, enhances maintenance efficiency through continuous remote monitoring, and contributes to safer and more reliable railway passenger information services.

Abstract

This study examines deepfake enabled disinformation as a hybrid threat to democracy and information security in Indonesia. The study synthesizes 30 academic studies and 12 policy or institutional reports published between 2019 and 2026 using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA 2020, combining thematic synthesis and policy document analysis. The findings identify five interrelated themes: technological affordances of synthetic media, selective belief and partisan amplification, trust erosion and democratic legitimacy, cyber enabled information security risks, and regulatory gaps in Indonesia. Deepfake harm does not stem solely from technical realism but emerges through interactions with political bias, weak verification literacy, platform algorithms, institutional distrust, and fragmented governance. In electoral settings, synthetic content can distort public opinion, damage candidates, weaken confidence in election bodies, and create the liar’s dividend, in which authentic evidence may be dismissed as fabricated. Its security implications include identity impersonation, social engineering, institutional spoofing, and evidence manipulation. The study proposes the Democratic Information Security Resilience Framework, connecting threat actors, content forms, amplification pathways, vulnerability conditions, impact mechanisms, and resilience strategies. The findings highlight the need for coordinated governance involving technical detection, content provenance, platform accountability, electoral safeguards, data protection, public literacy, rapid institutional response, and democratic accountability.

Abstract

Route hijacking attacks on the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) pose a serious threat to the reliability of campus Academic Information System services. One common form is route origin change, where an unauthorized Autonomous System (AS) announces IP prefixes belonging to another party. This study aims to model the risk and analyze its impact on service availability. The methodology uses a routing topology model involving internal, transit, external, and attacker routers in a controlled environment. The results show that prefixes announced by unauthorized ASes can be accepted and replace valid routes due to the lack of origin validation, causing traffic to be misdirected. This condition creates risks such as traffic redirection, credential theft, and reduced service reliability. As a mitigation effort, Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) is implemented through Route Origin Authorization (ROA) and Route Origin Validation (ROV), which effectively reject invalid routes and ensure traffic remains on legitimate paths.

Abstract

Background: Digital transformation in the construction industry has accelerated the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance project productivity, efficiency, and quality. However, effective BIM implementation requires alignment among technological capabilities, human competencies, and organizational support. Objective: This study aims to analyze BIM implementation at PT Hutama Karya’s Building Division using the Human-Organization-Technology Fit (HOT-FIT) model. Methods: A qualitative case study was conducted through in-depth interviews with 10 informants from project teams, the Building Division, and the Information Systems and Technology (SIT) Division, complemented by observations and document reviews. Data were analyzed thematically by examining the Human, Organization, and Technology dimensions, identifying implementation gaps, and developing alignment strategies. Results: The findings reveal that BIM implementation is supported by corporate policies, core software availability, and established BIM functions. However, BIM utilization remains suboptimal due to uneven competencies, limited management support, inconsistent SOP implementation, weak BIM role authority, infrastructure disparities, and limited system integration. The primary misfits are identified in the Human and Organization dimensions. Conclusion: Misalignment across HOT-FIT dimensions restricts BIM optimization, particularly in project time control, cost management, communication, and coordination. This study provides a diagnostic framework and strategic alignment approach to maximize BIM utilization and transform digital investment into measurable construction productivity improvements.
