Abstract

This study aimed to develop digital learning media assisted by BookCreator and integrated with Problem Based Learning for fifth-grade IPAS learning, and to determine its validity and practicality. Methods: The study employed research and development using the ADDIE model, which included analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Needs analysis was conducted in four elementary schools, while product implementation involved three schools. The product was validated by material, media, and language experts. Practicality data were obtained from three fifth-grade teachers and 52 students using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed descriptively by percentage. Results: The developed product was a multimedia digital book on community economic activities that combined text, images, audio, video, guiding questions, problem scenarios, and quizzes in accordance with the Problem Based Learning syntax. Expert validation produced scores of 90% for material, 90% for media, and 84% for language, with an overall mean of 88%, categorized as highly valid. Teacher practicality scores were 96%, 96%, and 94%, while student practicality scores were 82%, 91%, and 90% across the three schools. All practicality results were classified as highly practical. Novelty: This study offers an integrated design that does not merely digitize content but organizes multimedia and learning activities around authentic economic problems, allowing BookCreator to function as a structured problem-solving environment for elementary IPAS learning. The media is therefore feasible as an alternative digital resource, although further testing of its effectiveness on learning outcomes and critical thinking is required.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to analyze the educational dimensions in the Fatwa of MUI of East Java concerning the Use of Sound Horeg and its contribution in strengthening Islamic legal literacy. Methods: The research uses a qualitative approach with a type of normative legal research through a conceptual and case approach. Data was obtained through a documentation study of the East Java MUI Fatwa Number 1 of 2025, supported by various scientific literature regarding fatwas and Islamic legal education. The analysis was carried out descriptively-analytically on the legal arguments and educational values ​​contained in the fatwa. Results: The findings reveal that; (1)The educational dimension is reflected in its explanation of the istinbāṭ from Qur'an, hadith, uṣūl al-fiqh, maqāṣid al-syarī'ah to knowing the legal ruling but also the reasoning behind it. Furthermore,(2)the fatwa promotes contextual Islamic legal literacy by fostering critical understanding of contemporary legal issues while internalizing the values of public welfare, social responsibility, and harm prevention. Novelty: This study offers a new perspective by examining the East Java MUI Fatwa from an educational perspective rather than merely as a product of Islamic legal reasoning.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven a paradigm shift in Islamic education management through the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a strategic innovation in *madrasah* governance. AI is employed not only to support the learning process but also to facilitate administrative management, data analysis, decision-making, and the enhancement of educational service effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the transformation of AI-based Islamic education management in improving the effectiveness of *madrasah* governance. It employs a library research approach utilizing content analysis of relevant national and international scholarly articles concerning AI, Islamic education management, digital transformation, and educational governance. The findings indicate that AI implementation enhances *madrasah* governance effectiveness by optimizing planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision functions, while enabling faster, more accurate, and data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, AI supports administrative efficiency, the development of management information systems, and improved educational service quality. However, AI implementation faces challenges regarding limited human resource digital competence, technological infrastructure, data security, algorithmic bias, and ethical considerations that must align with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the job descriptions of school administrative staff in the field of public relations (PR) in senior high schools throughout Pesisir Selatan Regency. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 44 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire with the provision of answers using a rating scale in the form of a semantic differential scale that has met the validity and reliability tests, then analyzed using the average value (mean) and Respondent Achievement Level (TCR). Results: The research results indicate that the job descriptions of school public relations administrative staff are in the good category, with an average score of 4.43 and a TCR of 87.4%. This job description consists of four indicators: the clarity of task details scored an average score of 4.38 with a TCR of 87.6%. The appropriateness of authority limits scored an average score of 4.37 with a TCR of 87.4%. The standardization of procedures (SOP) scored an average score of 4.30 with a TCR of 86%. Finally, the availability of job descriptions scored an average score of 4.41 with a TCR of 88.2%. Novelty: This study specifically provides an overview of the analysis of job descriptions of school public relations administrative staff in high schools throughout Pesisir Selatan Regency based on four indicators: clarity of task details, appropriateness of authority limits, standardization of procedures, and availability of job descriptions. It is hoped that this can serve as a document for improving job descriptions for schools.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the job description of school administrative staff in the correspondence and archiving division at senior high schools in Tanah Datar Regency based on the aspects of task clarity, work responsibility, authority, and work procedures. Method: This study employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 63 school administrative staff, with a sample of 54 respondents determined using the Slovin formula through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics through mean scores and the Respondent Achievement Level (TCR). Results: The results showed that task clarity obtained an average score of 4.30 (TCR 86.04%), work responsibility 4.29 (85.80%), authority 4.28 (85.68%), and work procedures 4.18 (83.62%). Overall, the job description of school administrative staff in the correspondence and archiving division was categorized as good, although the work procedure aspect still requires improvement. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in presenting an empirical overview of the job description of school administrative staff in the correspondence and archiving division based on four main aspects at senior high schools in Tanah Datar Regency, which can serve as a basis for evaluating and improving school administrative management.

Abstract

Effective student admission management has become an increasingly important issue for public schools facing growing competition in attracting prospective students while maintaining educational quality. This study aims to explore the strategic leadership practices employed by the principal of SMP Negeri 19 Jambi in improving student enrollment through comprehensive planning, stakeholder collaboration, and institutional management. A qualitative case study approach was employed to obtain an in-depth understanding of leadership practices within the school's natural setting. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving the principal, vice principal, teachers, administrative staff, and school committee representatives. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of data analysis, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while credibility was strengthened through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings reveal that student admission management was implemented through four interrelated strategic dimensions: strategic planning, institutional promotion and community engagement, collaborative stakeholder involvement, and continuous evaluation of admission outcomes. The principal also strengthened school competitiveness by optimizing digital communication, improving educational services, and fostering partnerships with surrounding communities. These integrated leadership practices contributed to increased public trust and improved student enrollment.

Abstract

The performance of duties by school administrative heads plays a crucial role in supporting the effectiveness of administrative services. However, the execution of these duties in senior high schools (SMA) in Padang City has not been extensively studied empirically. This study aims to describe the performance of these duties across senior high schools in Padang City, focusing on the aspects of task clarity, working conditions, authority, and responsibility. A quantitative approach utilizing a descriptive method was employed. The study population comprised 114 school administrative heads, with a sample of 54 respondents selected via proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a rating-scale questionnaire and analyzed descriptively using the Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) metric. The results indicate that duty performance falls into the "good" category, with an average score of 4.45 and a TCR of 88.76%. The task clarity indicator achieved the highest score (89.59%), followed by working conditions (89.17%), responsibility (88.75%), and authority (87.53%); all fell within the "good" category. This study provides empirical information that can serve as a basis for evaluation to enhance the effectiveness of school management.

Abstract

Good school governance requires an administrative system capable of supporting the entire process of planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of educational programs.This study aims to examine the implementation of school operator job descriptions in senior high schools throughout Pasaman and West Pasaman Regencies. This study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The study sample consisted of 91 school operators selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Semantic Differential scale questionnaire that had passed validity and reliability tests, then analyzed using the mean, standard deviation, and Respondent Achievement Level (RAL). The results indicate that the implementation of school operator job descriptions falls into the “good” category with a mean score of 4.43. The working conditions indicator received the highest RAC of 88.62%, followed by responsibility at 88.48% and authority at 88.42%, all of which fell into the “good” category. This study provides an empirical overview of the implementation of school operator job descriptions based on the aspects of responsibility, working conditions, and authority at the senior high school level in two regencies that have rarely been specifically studied.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the job descriptions of school operators at junior high schools (SLTP) in Solok Regency based on task clarity, responsibility, and authority. Methods: This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The population consisted of 110 school operators, with 53 respondents selected using simple random sampling with a 10% margin of error. Data were collected using a 28-item Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and Respondent Achievement Level (TCR). Results: The findings show that the job descriptions of school operators were categorized as “Agree,” with a mean score of 4.28 and TCR of 85.56%. Responsibility obtained the highest score (mean 4.32; TCR 86.33%), followed by task clarity (mean 4.27; TCR 85.36%) and authority (mean 4.25; TCR 84.98%). Novelty: This study provides a specific description of school operators’ job descriptions based on task clarity, responsibility, and authority, which have received limited attention in previous studies on school administrative personnel. The findings indicate that clear job descriptions are important for supporting the effective and accountable implementation of school operator duties.

Abstract

Objective: his study aims to describe students' perceptions of teacher leadership in learning at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. Methods: This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The population consisted of 920 students in grades X, XI, and XII, while 287 students were selected using proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a valid and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating the mean score. Results: The findings revealed that students' perceptions of teacher leadership in learning were categorized as Good, with an overall mean score of 4.18. Classroom management obtained a mean score of 4.29, motivation and influence on students 4.33, implementation of active and effective learning 4.16, and variation and innovation in teaching methods 3.93, indicating consistently positive perceptions across all indicators. Novelty: This study provides empirical evidence on teacher leadership from students' perspectives at the senior high school level. The findings offer valuable insights for teachers and school administrators to strengthen instructional leadership, improve teaching practices, support effective learning processes, and serve as a reference for future educational research and school policy development in similar educational contexts.
