Abstract

Mobile learning is widely used because of its ease that can be accessed anytime and anywhere, especially by students who have mobile devices such as smartphones, phablets or tablets. This research aims to develop Android-Based Swimming Learning Media Mobile Learning Applications in Basic Swimming Lectures at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar. The method used by researchers is Research and Development (Adapted from Dick and Carey). The data was validated by 2 experts: media experts and swimming learning experts. Furthermore, a small group trial of 6 students was carried out, while 34 students were the subjects of the Large-Scale Trial. The results obtained are: Product clarity criteria obtained a percentage of 94.49% is very valid, attractiveness criteria are 92.40% very valid, Understanding Criteria 95.96% are very valid, and usefulness criteria 89.58% are very valid. All criteria have met the feasibility of the product so that the development of android-based swimming learning media mobile learning applications in basic swimming lectures is declared very valid and feasible to be used as a medium to maximize the learning process

Abstract

In line with the existence of a five-day school (FDS) proposed by the Minister of Education and Culture in 2017, some cities and towns implemented this regulation, including Blitar City. In general, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of FDS in Blitar City. Specifically, the current research was aimed at investigating the achievement of fulfilling the teacher's workload in implementing the FDS, students’ character, and the level of community satisfaction after FDS implemented for 5 years. This research was conducted using a mixed method. Furthermore, the data was obtained from public and private schools at the elementary school level and junior high schools in Blitar City, students’ parents as well as. The results of this study indicate that there are 8 teachers (5,67%) teachers stated that their face-to-face meetings are less than 24 hours/week. There are 26 teachers (18,44%) who have a meeting around 24-28 hours per week. The number of teachers who have 28-32 meetings per week is 23 (16,31%) teachers. 53 (37,59%) teachers have 32-36 meetings per week. There are 31 (21,99%) teachers who have 36-40 hours of meetings per week by the provisions, character strengthening in the five-day school is implemented in curricular and co-curricular activities, students’ parents are dissatisfied with the student’s parents are dissatisfied with the implementation of the five school days. In conclusion, the policy of implementing FDS in Blitar City must be revised due to the existence of some disadvantages effect for both students and teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find out that AI is a form rather than a legal subject and provides legal certainty for each user, as well as the extent of the legality of the use of AI in creating an scientific work with conceptual and challenges to AI regulation in Indonesia. Artificial Intelligence is a computer system designed to perform tasks that are usually performed by humans and that require human intelligence. many assume that this AI is an artificial robot. this happens because of the many animations in a film or story on television, social media or written media that illustrate that this AI is an artificial robot that is described as resembling a human. this study uses legal research with a normative approach method, with the problem of whether AI can be said to be a legal subject on intellectual property rights and if AI is able to create a product or work whether the creation can be said to be a right to ownership. this is in line with research on the era of artificial intelligence and the impact on human dignity in ethical studies that ethically examine the problem of AI in discovery with humans as developers, users, and objects in this day and age, especially the impact on human dignity. of course, it is a comparative material in conducting research, in this case this article focuses on the position and subject of law on artificial intelligence.

Abstract

Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Crimes of Sexual Violence has become an important milestone in law enforcement efforts against sexual crimes, including electronic-based sexual violence. This research will discuss the legis ratio for regulating electronic-based sexual violence crimes and then discuss the harmonization of provisions for electronic-based sexual violence crimes after the enactment of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes. The research method used is normative, using a statutory approach, conceptual approach and case approach. The results of the research conclude, firstly, that the main basis for the provision of electronic-based sexual violence crimes is based on the 1945 Constitution which guarantees the protection of the rights of every citizen from all acts of violence. Second, before the legalization and enactment of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (UU TPKS), the legal provisions regarding sexual violence were spread across various laws and regulations. However, there are no provisions that explicitly mention electronic-based sexual violence. So that it becomes dynamic in law enforcement.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out the Effectiveness Of Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, And Review (PQ4R) Method This research was an experimental research focused on quantitative approach. Non-randomized control group pre-test posttest Design was applied. There are two variables: Independent and dependent variable. The independent variable was PQ4R method and dependent variable was the students’ reading comprehension score. The subjects of this research were the first year students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Blitar. The research has proved that the teaching reading using Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, And Review (PQ4R) Method With Seesaw Application has really significant power and give positive impact in improving the students’ reading comprehension skill.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether senior high school students taught using the Think Pair Share Method with Mind Mapping Media achieved superior writing skill achievement than students taught using the GTM. This study used a quasi-experimental design, which is a type of quantitative research. Sixty-four students made up the research sample: thirty-two from class XI IPS 1 were the experimental group, and thirty-two from class XI IPS 2 were the control group. Students of SMAN Kademangan Blitar's Class XI were the study's subjects. The data was calculated by the researcher using ANCOVA. The study's conclusions demonstrated that students who were taught the Think Pair Share Method with Mind Mapping Media outperformed those who were taught GTM in terms of writing achievement. According to the Estimated Marginal Means Table, students taught using the Think Pair Share Method with Mind Mapping Media scored 77,529, while students taught using GTM scored 77.034. In summary, the Think Pair Share Method combined with Mind Mapping Resources was more effective in teaching writing.

Abstract

To find the effect of Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) method on the students’ reading achievement was the aim of this study. Quasi experimental using non randomized pre-test posttest had been the research design in this study which involving first year students of senior high school as the subject of study. Class X5 was experimental group and class X7 was control group. To collect the data, pretest was given before the treatment. Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) method was given to experimental group and grammar translation method was given to control group. As result, T-score got from posttest with equal variance assumed was 6.604 with the probability 0.000 which was smaller than 0.05. It means the students taught by using Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) method achieved reading skill better than those who are taught by using Grammar Translation Method.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the eating patterns and behaviors of mothers in relation to the nutritional status of fishermen’s families in Rugemuk Village. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive design. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. The results of the study indicate that the percentage of toddlers with incomplete immunization status is still higher than those with complete immunization status. This is one of the reasons why mothers may not be able to monitor their children’s growth and development effectively. The study also found that there are still many toddlers with poor nutritional status compared to those with normal nutritional status.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of the laying hens business during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sumberjo Village, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach with survey techniques using questionnaires. Respondents used in this study were 35 egg laying breeders. Determination of respondents in this study was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation and surveys using questionnaires. The results of statistical analysis showed that the average farmers in Sumberjo Village, Kademangan District were small breeders where 28.57% had a junior high school education. In their business activities, 73% of respondents replace livestock by maintaining DOC and 66% of respondents use factory feed supplied by poultry shops in Blitar Regency. During the Covid-19 pandemic, supplying animal feed and selling eggs became difficult and business profits were difficult to obtain. A score for the difficulty level of feed supply was 485.00; difficulty in selling chicken eggs was 491.00 and difficulty in earning profits in the laying hens business was 500.00. The conclusion of this study is that there are dynamics in the laying hens business in Sumberjo Village, Kademangan District during the Covid-19 pandemic where there are difficulties in feed supply, egg sales and achieving business profits.
