Abstract

Companies are required to achieve full efficiency, which use of certain inputs to produce optimal output. Efficiency is one of the indicators in measuring the operational performance of a company. This research uses the Bootstrap Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results DMUs full efficiency are BISI, WAPO, LSIP, MGRO and SMAR. Average efficiency of all DMUs is 0.7314 and the priority improvement is DMU BTEK with OFI value of 16.11%. DMUs are Increasing are AALI, ANDI, ANJT, BTEK, BWPT, CSRA, GZCO, JAWA, PGUN and PSGO. DMUs are constant are BISI, WAPO, LSIP, MGRO and SMAR. DMU decreasing is DSNG, FAPA, SGRO, SIMP and SSMS. The highest DEA Bootstrap bias estimate is 0.36 from DMUs full efficiency values. Meanwhile, the lowest bias value is 0.002 from DMU BWPT. The bias estimate between the CCR and Bootstrap DEA models has a difference of 0.199. The DMU becomes a role model and more dominant than other benchmarking peers is SMAR.

Abstract

CV Kopi Citarasa Persada is on of the coffee agro-industries that processes damaged or defective coffee beans into coffee powder. Coffee defect is famous for its low quality, which makes it a new challenge in the coffee industry. Even so, CV Kopi Citarasa Persada continues to process coffee defects while maintaining the quality of taste that can be well received by its consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine the estimated costs, revenue, and income, as well as to determine the financial feasibility of CV Kopi Citarasa Persada on their coffee defect robusta products. The sample was purposively selected from eight informants who were selected based on certain criteria and in accordance with the research objectives. The result of the research that have been carried out in one production process are the total costs incurred for coffee defect robusta amounting to IDR 851.833, with total revenue of IDR 1.000.000, and revenue generated of IDR 148.167. Obtained a BEP production value of 34 pcs and a BEP price of IDR 21.296, the value of the R/C ratio is 1,17 and the value of the B/C ratio is 0,17. So it cann be concluded that the coffee defect robusta business at CV Kopi Citarasa Persada is feasible in terms of revenue, but not feasible in terms of income.

Abstract

Soybean is one of the food commodities as a source of vegetable protein which has good nutritional content. Soybean productivity has increased since 2019. In running its business, CV. Intan Alami requires an appropriate business strategy to be able to reintroduce the New Mandala 525 soybean powder beverage product. The purpose of this study is to describe the performance of the beverage product business and present the business model for the New Mandala 525 soybean powder beverage product. The research method used is a case study at CV. Natural Diamond, Garut Regency. The data analysis used is the business model canvas for the New Mandala 525 soy powder beverage product business. The results show the performance of the New Mandala 525 soybean powder beverage product business seen from approaches related to product, price, distribution/place/location, promotion, human resources (HR) and source of business capital, New Mandala 525 soybean powder drink is a powdered soybean beverage product made from 100% soybean seeds, sales are made directly and through distributors with promotional activities through electronic media. Human resources are obtained from the results of recruitment and collaboration with partners, business capital using private property and the results of cooperation agreements. The mapping of the nine elements of the business model canvas shows that the New Mandala 525 soybean powder beverage product is a superior product that has a value proposition to be able to compete in the market with a fairly broad customer segmentation. Having partners who can be relied upon to become supporters in reviving the New Mandala 525 soybean powder beverage business.

Abstract

The competitiveness of coffee makes coffee quality the main requirement in marketing coffee products. This research aims to analyze the competitiveness, quality and marketing of coffee in Karang Lantang Village, Muara Jaya District, OKU Regency. The research method used is a survey method and data collection using simple random sampling. The number of respondents used in this research was 30 samples. Analysis of coffee competitiveness data uses Police Analysis Matrix (PAM) calculations, quality analysis uses perception questionnaires so that the results are in percentage form, and for marketing it is analyzed using marketing margins. The results of this research are that coffee farmers in Karang Lantang Village, Muara Jaya District, OKU Regency have private profits of Rp. 48,378,333 and social benefits of Rp. 39,518,333. Coffee farmers in Karang Lantang Village, Muara Jaya District, OKU Regency have strong competitiveness because they have comparative advantages and competitive advantages with a DRC value of 0.023 and competitive advantages with a PCR value of 0.021. The results of the quality of coffee in Karang Lantang village, Muara Jaya District, OKU Regency, are the picking process, sorting processing, packaging and warehousing with a number of frequently carried out as many as 342.86 percent and very often carried out as much as 57.14 percent. Coffee farmers in Karang Lantang Village, Muara Jaya District, OKU Regency have haphazard marketing of coffee sales by selling to collectors. Coffee marketing in Karang Lantang Village shows results of around 3.03%. The convenience of a cash economy and no special treatment for the coffee being sold are the main reasons why farmers sell coffee to collectors.

Abstract

Curly red chili is one type of horticultural plant that has relatively high economic value and has a continuously increasing market potential. Curly red chili farmers utilize this situation to optimize their business income. This research aims to analyze the influence of factors such as land area, seed quantity, fertilizer quantity, pesticide quantity, and labor quantity on the income of curly red chili farming. This research was conducted from October to December 2023 in Batur Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency. The research location was purposively selected considering that Batur Village is one of the largest curly red chili-producing villages in Getasan District. The research method used was a survey method. The data analysis methods used were production cost analysis, revenue, income, profitability, one sample t-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that the production cost, revenue, and income of farming on an average land area of 0.2 hectares were IDR 22,954,245/MT, IDR43,502,604/MT, and IDR 20,548,359/MT respectively. The profitability obtained was 117%. Based on the multiple linear regression analysis results, it is shown that land area, seed quantity, fertilizer quantity, pesticide quantity, and labor quantity simultaneously affect the income of curly red chili farming. Land area, seed quantity, and fertilizer quantity have a significant effect on the income of red curly chili farming, while pesticide quantity and labor quantity partially do not affect the income of curly red chili farming. Variables that have a positive effect on income are land area, seed quantity, pesticide quantity, and labor quantity, while fertilizer quantity has a negative effect on the income of curly red chili farming.

Abstract

Productivity of Cap Jago soy sauce at PT Ahon Janata Haurda is still low and spread in Pangandaran Regency and its surroundings. In addition, requests are not always fulfilled on time. Various risks that exist in production activities are the cause of the problem. The purpose of this study is to find a risk agent has the greatest potential for soy sauce production at PT Ahon Janata Haurda. This research is qualitative with a case study research technique. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and HOR (House Of Risk). The results showed that there were 6 out of 13 risk agent that most determines the risk event namely: high rainfall, the quality of varied raw materials, the weather is uncertain, long droughts, competition for raw materials, the dosage of raw materials is not appropriate. Risk agent has an impact of 79.25% of all existing risk sources.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the structure of household income originating from the non-agricultural and agricultural sectors, as well as analyzing the contribution of non-agricultural sector income to household income. Regarding how big the contribution of non-agricultural income and farming income is to household income. The sample in this research were farmers taken from Jirak Village, namely 42 respondents. The data analysis method used is quantitative with income analysis. The research results show that sources of income from non-agriculture, namely laborers, traders, weaving craftsmen, craftsmen, technicians and furniture, average IDR 1,402,262 per month, while sources of income from rice farming reach an average of IDR 965.972. This shows that non-agricultural income is greater than rice farming income. These results prove that non-agricultural income is seriously used to help with farming and household needs. Then the contribution of non-agricultural income to farmer household income is 59,21 %, this shows that the contribution of non-agricultural income is greater than rice farming income.

Abstract

Tempeh Chips is an industry engaged in agro-industry that uses soybeans as raw material for making tempeh chips. One of the important factors in the production process is raw material inventory. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum and economical amount of raw material purchases, the amount of raw material inventory and the right time to reorder. This research was conducted in Purwantoro Village, Blimbing District, Malang City. The sampling technique was done intentionally. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The analysis method used is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) analysis and using the POM-QM For Windows V.5.3 application. The results of this study indicate that the optimal and economical purchase of soybean raw materials for each purchase is 32 Kg. The required Safety Stock is 75 Kg, Re-Order Point is done if the remaining soybean raw material inventory is 104 Kg. Controlling raw material inventory using the EOQ method is more efficient, so companies can consider using the EOQ method in controlling raw material inventory.

Abstract

Pakcoy is one of the vegetable commodities sold at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa that has experienced sales that have not been on target for more than a year so Rumah Buah Tirtayasa needs to know the reason consumers buy pakcoy, the level of compatibility between the level of performance and the level of importance, and the level of consumer satisfaction after buying pakcoy at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa. The research design used was a quantitative design with a total of 67 respondents. This research uses descriptive analysis methods, Importance Performance Analysis, and Customer Satisfaction Index analysis. The results showed that (1) The characteristics of consumers of pakcoy products at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa are women aged early adulthood, namely 26-35 years who are married with income above the current UMR Bandung City of Rp 4,068,462 who work as private employees. Tirtayasa Fruit House pakcoy consumers buy and consume pakcoy for household needs and the majority of consumers have three family members. (2) Based on the results of the IPA calculation, the attributes that have been satisfactory are color, quality, price suitability with quality, availability, and taste, while the attributes whose performance needs to be improved are size, brand variation, packaging, and labels. (3) CSI's calculation results show that pakcoy consumers at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa are very satisfied with the performance of pakcoy attributes at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa. Companies must improve, innovate, improve performance, and educate consumers about the attributes that need to be improved. For future research, it is expected to examine more detailed attributes or use other variables related to consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Online groceries X does marketing through social media Instagram to reach consumers. However, communication between consumers on Instagram online groceries X Instagram is still low. The study's objectives are 1) to describe the characteristics of consumers who make purchasing decisions at online groceries X and 2) to analyze the influence of word of mouth on Instagram social media on consumer decisions in purchasing products at online groceries X. The study’s design is quantitative with survey techniques. The 70 samples were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Primary data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, online groceries X's consumer characteristics are dominated by women, averaged aged 30,4 years with range 34 years, domiciled in DKI Jakarta, have a high-educated, work as a private employee, earn >Rp6,000,000, married, and follow online groceries X's Instagram. Simultaneously, the variables of intensity, the valence of opinion, and content significantly influence purchasing decisions. Partially, the intensity variable has a significant influence on the purchase decision whereas the valence of opinion and content variables do not have a significant influence on the purchase decision. The R2 value shows that the purchase decision variable can be explained by the intensity, valence of opinion, and content variables by 49% while the remaining 51% is explained by other variables that are not contained in the regression model.
