Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how the Management of Implementation of Religious Moderation in the Independent Curriculum for Islamic Education Learning in Elementary Schools. This research is a literature study. Data collection uses some relevant literature. The results of this study are the management of the implementation of religious moderation in the independent curriculum in PAI and BP learning in elementary schools, there needs to be proper management through: 1) planning, namely planning what moderation values ​​can be collaborated with the selection of materials in accordance with the independent curriculum, 2) implementation, namely applying the value of moderation in accordance with the material in accordance with the teaching module in the independent curriculum, 3) controlling, namely controlling the level of conformity of the implementation of religious moderation in the independent curriculum and 4) evaluating. Abstract

The disorder behavior of students is a challenging character problem that should be paid a lot of attention by education stakeholders in Indonesia. The character problem covers performance character such as not praying on time, being lazy to do assignments, and undisciplined and moral character like cheating on exams, disturbing friends, disrespecting each other, not listening to advice, and not respecting teachers and other character problems. Strengthening character in the development of the goals of Islamic religious education in the 2013 curriculum is a strategic solution to overcoming various character problems. The purpose of this study was to analyze and reveal character strengthening in the development of Islamic religious education goals in the 2013 curriculum. This research includes literature research, where the research uses descriptive analysis techniques to conclude systematically and factually from the object of thought. The results of this study explain that the development of the goals of character education in the Islamic religious education curriculum includes: integration between extracurricular activities such as reading prayers and reciting the Koran together and praying Duha on time, co-curricular activities including Hajj rituals and extracurricular activities such as scouts, paskibra, flash boarding schools and da'wah training.   Keywords: Character Strengthening, Islamic Religious Education (PAI), Curriculum 2013

Abstract

This study will offer 1) the direction of Rahman's study of the Islamic tradition, 2) Rahman's epistemological problems in the study of the Islamic tradition, 3) the study of Rahman's double movement hermeneutics on the Islamic tradition, and 4) Rahman's methodological contribution to the study of the Islamic tradition. This study uses a historical-sociological approach to see in more detail how Rahman examines Islamic traditions from a hermeneutical perspective. The results of this study indicate that first, the direction of Rahman's reading of the Islamic tradition looks very objective, regardless of the subjectivity of the two currents of traditionalist and modernist thought. Rahman did not defend the two currents of thought, each thought received criticism on the one hand, but on the other hand has also received positive appreciation. Second, the epistemological problem that arises in his thinking is the existence of an epistemological pattern of Islamic studies which is both mainstream, extreme right with traditionalist currents and extreme left with modernist currents from Western orientalism circles which are very free in understanding religion. Third, according to the reading of Rahman's theory of double movement hermeneutics at that time, efforts were needed to formalize, permanentize, and verbalize the living sunnah into text form which is now known as hadith. Without this effort, Muslims will lose their identity and experience a historical disconnect. However, the formalization, verbalization, and permanentization of hadith does not mean setting it as an absolute, let alone a rigid rule that rejects the interpretation space of understanding for the religious elite. According to Rahman's most basic view, once the hadith is determined to be absolute, it can no longer be touched by the thoughts of the respective religious elites, and then the living sunnah which has the basic character of nurturing and protecting has been reduced in meaning. Considering this understanding has forced certain situations and conditions to comply with behavior that has been standardized in the form of the hadith. Fourth, Rahman's hermeneutical approach is very significant in the recontextualization of the universal message of teachings inherent in the authoritative sources of each religion. With this approach, maqashidu al-syariah as a religious text teaching message will be actualized according to the breath of the times.   Keywords: formalization, hermeneutics, modernist, sunnah, traditionalist

Abstract

Islam holds significant values regarding to peace among its followers and believers. Some typical values are bonding of brotherhood, spreading (Salam), exchanging gifts, feeding food, helping the distressed and the rights of the dhimmi. Islam emphasizes the meanings and values of peace in dealing with non-Muslim countries and societies, by enacting regulations governing the relationship of the Islamic state with other non-Muslim countries. Peace in the Islamic concept does not negate the presence of disagreement and division, even arguments between its followers or even with non-Muslim countries and societies. The researcher has analyzed a few samples of historical facts in which Muslims have applied their core values of peace quoted from Islamic legislation in their dealings with their Muslim brothers and also with non-Muslim sects and countries. The researcher used the descriptive historical method to analyze the data that He studied, with that outcome, the researcher presented a set of results. An important factor that can be addressed is the state of non-peace that prevails in humanity during our present time. Eventually, this leads to non-compliance with the divine legislations that are justified in the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and also through the lives of the Companions and their followers. Moreover, this article has recorded a significant result: the values of peace in Islamic education. It contributed to spreading a state of peace and no war between non-Muslims while Muslims lived as minorities in non-Muslim societies. Abstract

Islam is a comprehensive religion, it contains strong principles and resources such as ‘aqidah, worship, shari‘a, and morals that aim to regulate the life and journey of human beings in this world and the afterlife in the aspects of individual management, household, education, economy, politics, social law, culture, etc. The Al-Quran and al-Sunnah, as well as the great heritage of Islamic scholars, contain all human life guides. The purpose of life and the human role in the world is to 'ubudiyyah (worship) Allah swt. Therefore, every act and movement of people in this world should be focused on the goal of carrying out their duties as khalifatullah, that is, the caliph of God on this earth. This concept paper aims to explore the practice of social life in the time of the Prophet Muhammad, explaining the basic concessions of social life and society based on Islamic education. This article uses the library method and document analysis. This paper will help to provide some sources of information that can be used by people who would like to understand and study the social values based on Islamic education. As a conclusion, Islamic education takes over as the primary educational model and is no longer an option to be selected or rejected. The application of these values as a whole must be mobilized, starting with working on an educational philosophy based on monotheism, the preparation of a teacher education curriculum, and the formation of a student education curriculum.   Keywords: Society Values, Islamic Education, Social Life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values in fostering ecological awareness in the content of the material presented in the book theme 9 "Kayanya Negeriku" for fourth-grade elementary school. This research approach uses a qualitative literature study. The content of the material analyzed is the preservation of Indonesia's natural resources. The research results almost all of the material can be related to Islamic values or those contained in the Qur'an. The material is delivered in the form of contextual stories that bring students to think logically about facts and phenomena of everyday life. The conclusion of this research is the application of Islamic values in the attitude of growing a sense of love for the environment is very important, especially instilled in elementary school students in the preservation of natural resources. So that students have gratitude and are wise in utilizing nature by Allah's commands in the Qur'an so that it is not just knowledge that is implanted.   Keywords: Integration of Islamic Values, conservation of Natural Resources, Ecological Awareness

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) What are the social character building programs at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Batulayar. (2) How is the implementation of social character development programs at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Batulayar. Based on the location and source of the data in this research, it is included in field research, and in terms of the nature of the data, it is included in qualitative research, based on the discussion including descriptive research. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis was carried out in the field, and testing the validity of the data was carried out by observation, triangulation, and peer discussion. After the researchers conducted the research, it can be concluded that social character building is necessary, 1) Creating a Social character development program needs the best possible preparation, studying it before the character building process, preparing physiologically and psychologically for the teacher. 2) In the implementation of the character development program, namely efforts to improve the social character of students, teachers use good methods / methods, namely teacher-centered and student-centered coaching using methods. Besides that, teachers must try to instill habituation and role models in all things, especially in terms of fostering social character to students in programs that have been planned. Supporting factors for character building by teachers in the implementation of social character development at MTs Ishlahul Muslimin Senteluk Batulayar include: the condition of students who have a strong level of enthusiasm and enthusiasm, stable student conditions, competent teacher conditions and willing to fight for better change, facilities and infrastructure supportive learning environment.   Keywords: Social Character, Coaching Program

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat judul tentang Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Berasrama Di MA Pondok Pesantrren Darul Masakin Karang Lebah Desa Bilelando. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembentukan karakter siswa, karakter siswa berasrama dan untuk mengetahui kendala dan solusi dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di MA Darul Masakin. Sebab siswa di sana memiliki karakter rligius, kedisiplinan, kerjasama, kerja keras, demokrasi dan rasa igin tahu.lewat penelitian ini lah kan diketahui bagaimana peroses dari pembentukan karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni (1) Menganalisis bagaimana peroses pembentukan karakter (2) Mengetahui dan menganalisis karakter siswa berasrama (3) Menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi dalam pembentukan karakter di MA Darul Masakin Karang Lebah. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan model interaktif yang terdiri dari mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menyimpulkan. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui metode triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) perencanaan menanamkan nilai karakter sesuai landasan Perpres No.87 tahun 2017 dengan 18 nilai pembentuk karakter dan budaya bangsa (2) pelaksanaan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai kedalam kurikulum pondok pesantren dilakukan melalui 3 aspek, yaitu: melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar, ekstrakurikuler, dan aktivitas religius siswa (3) faktor penghambat pembentukan karakter siswa yaitu disebabkan oleh perkembangan teknologi dan informasi, kurangnya perhatian orang tua dan kurangnya SDM dan sarana prasarana pendukung. Kata Kunci: Karakter, Siswa Berasrama

Abstract

This research begins with the lack of public understanding of gender and gender equality. These opinions are found in several books by Husein Muhammad, causing gender injustice (marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, double burdens, and violence) which often afflicts women who become victims. This research discusses the concept of gender equality in women's fiqh according to Husein Muhammad and discussing the relevance of the concept of gender equality in women's fiqh to the objectives of Islamic religious education. This study aims to determine the concept of gender equality in women's fiqh according to Husein Muhammad and to determine the relevance of the concept of gender equality in women's fiqh to the goals of Islamic religious education. This research uses a type of research, character thought to study using library research. Data collection techniques in this study are documentation and interviews with figures. The data analysis used is content analysis. The results of this study are first:  the concept of gender equality in women's fiqh according to Husein Muhammad is an idea or idea consisting of some knowledge, namely about gender understanding, gender bias and gender roles which always emphasizes that the need for a women's fiqh decision in a well-social reality, economics, and politics. Women's fiqh consists of women's fiqh in the household, women's fiqh in worship, women's fiqh in marriage, women's fiqh in family health and women's fiqh in politics. The concept of the paradigm of feminism according to Husein Muhammad is to use the idea of ​​tauhid in gender relations, the principles of maqasid syari'ah and the methodology of interpreting a gender perspective. Second: the relevance of the concept of gender equality in women's fiqh according to Husein Muhammad with the aim of Islamic religious education are: (a) a dimension of faith that is relevant to the idea of ​​tauhid of gender  between men and women, (b) a dimension of that is relevant to that women play an active role in the mind intellectually, (c) the dimension of understanding that is relevant to that women be able to understand the meaning of gender and actualize it, (d) the dimensions of practice that are relevant to women be able to play an active role in the domestic and public sphere, and (e) the dimensions of appropriate values with the principles of maqasid syari’ah.   Keywords: Gender Equality, Women's Fiqh, Religious Education

Abstract

Indonesia is widely known as one accumulated national entity consisting of many differences of tribes, cultures and religions. As a result of unity in diversity, Indonesia possessed a significant impact in the history aiming to educate youth generations. The article describes a historical background of the nation running education specifically to build the nation character. Meanwhile based on that reason, the effort to implement trustworthy behaviors through whole aspect of religious characteristics imprinted in the deep heart of the nation. To add some more, Indonesia which is well-known for its addressing religious nation must set up the goal of the nation which is definitely in harmony with the values of religious teachings. The article also provides an effort to educate the nation by focusing and paying great attention to the program of civilizing people. Clearly, the article in detail discusses a successful progress of bulding character education in Indonesia. Besides, this article utilizes analysis methid focusing on causal effectual method correlating Character Education as a result of national character building using literature review model. This article then finds out that there is a similar pattern between bulding nation character and character education. Moreover, the term retrospection is used merely to reflect the implementation of noble values of Indonesia through what is called by education principle.   Keywords: Retrospection, Educarion, Character
