The employability of students is an essential factor that every school must consider. This study aims to test the validity and reliability of the employability scale construct, determine the contribution of each aspect and indicator in reflecting employability variables, and test whether the theoretical model of employability fits with empirical data. Employability is measured by four aspects, namely skills, knowledge, understanding, and personality attributes. The subjects in this study were 372 students of State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 225 students. The sampling technique used probability sampling with simple random sampling. The data collection method used a job satisfaction scale and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with 2nd Order CFA through Lisrel 8. 71 programs. The analysis results show that students at the State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan have employability in the reasonably high category. The aspects and indicators that make up the employability variables are declared valid and reliable based on the analysis results. The most dominant aspect that reflects employability is the scientific aspect, namely studying the material presented in school. The lowest aspect that reflects employability is the personality aspect, namely the perception of online to take risks for what is done. The employability variable measurement model fits the empirical data. The main fit model criteria used in testing the suitability of this model are Chi-Square p, RMSEA, NFI, NNFI, CFI, IFI, GFI, AGFI.

The pandemic of covid-19 has had a negative impact on schooling quality around the world. The lack of student enthusiasm to learn using digital platforms is one issue leading to the low quality of education. Several prior types of research have looked into how students perceive their motivation to learn in the face of pandemic covid-19. However, modal analysis to reveal students' motivation through their written personal views on learning during the epidemic of Covid-19 remains a relatively unexplored area. This research aims to expose the students’ motivation to learn during the outbreak of covid-19 using modality theory. 20 English Department students, Faculty of Language and Arts, University of HKBP Nommensen were involved in this research. The students were assigned to write an essay about their experiences and opinions of learning amid the covid-19 outbreak. The essay consists of approximately 250 words. The research was conducted in a mixed method. The results showed that the most modality used in the text is probability 39.82%, afterwards frequency 27.60%, obligation 17.19%, and inclination 15.39%, respectively. A medium level or category dominated each type of modality. Regarding polarity, 159 (71.95%) of modal words were in the positive range, and the rest of the modality 62 (28.05%) were located in the negative range. This demonstrates that students' enthusiasm to learn throughout the pandemic was characterized as medium and highly positive. The findings were relatively different from the previous research on the same topic. Most of the research revealed low student motivation amid the covid-19 pandemic. However, this research showed different results that the EFL students were still motivated to study their lessons amid the covid-19 pandemic. The results bring consequences to the future educational research to consider using linguistic perspectives in the research method, especially the application of Systemic Functional Linguistics to reveal the meanings of the students’ perspectives on certain educational issues.

The current era of globalization has succeeded in creating various problems and challenges of human life. The ability to solve problems and challenges of life is very necessary. The place for education, especially science, is the main key so that citizens are able to live their lives well. The phenomenon of the low mastery of integrated science content of students at the basic education level cannot be separated from the dimensions of their literacy attitude. These dimensions include the application of science, knowledge of science, the process of science, and patterns of behavior towards science. The aim of this study was to describe the scientific literacy skills of students in learning with factual texts. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. A total of 40 students were used as sources of information to view and obtain a literacy competency profile in science learning. Data were collected through observation and tests through a number of questions to obtain information on the dimensions of students' literacy attitudes. The research finding is that there is an increase in learning progress based on the results of the pretest and posttest with a difference of 15.8 points for the overall PISA competency aspect. The competence aspect of explaining scientific phenomena obtained the lowest average result, while the competence aspect of evaluating and interpreting the data obtained a higher average result. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of science learning in schools should be more meaningful for students so that they are able to have higher literacy skills, especially scientific literacy. This can be achieved by applying holistic and integrative learning in science learning

This research is evaluation research using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model developed by Stufflebeam. Data was collected using interviews, observations and document studies, while the analysis was carried out using the Milles and Huberman model. This study aimed to evaluate the running of the Tahfizh Taajul Waqoor Li Tahfiizhil Qur'anil Kariim Program at an Islamic Boarding School in Bekasi. From the results of the evaluation, it is informed that the formulation of the vision, mission and objectives of the program is in a good category, only in the formulation of the vision there is one criterion that has not been met, namely vision is not static. From the input component, the input of teachers, students, curriculum and facilities and infrastructure is in a good category, only for student input that still does not meet the ideal criteria for memorizing the Qur'an. The input of the Tahfizh study room facilities in some rooms is comfortable, but there is still a need for a review of the Qur'an laboratory facilities. From the process, the use of Tahfizh's methods, media, materials and learning time is in a good category. For materials, the determination or selection of materials and targets for tahfizh is still the same in general between students with upper-middle abilities and students with low abilities. Lastly, the product components are also in a good category. To conclude, this program has already been good enough to carry on.

The learning process in the 2013 Curriculum has special characteristics, namely using scientific strategies and approaches, models, and cooperative learning methods. The grand tour carried out in the learning process at Madrasah Aliyah did not reflect the characteristics of the 2013 curriculum learning. This study aims to determine the learning curriculum process carried out by teachers at Madrasah Aliyah in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This study uses a phenomenological method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using data selection, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that; The learning process has not been implemented ideally because only a small number of teachers use the group discussion method; it is still semi-scientific. The obstacles are, 1) not all teachers understand the learning process with the 2013 curriculum. 2) The teacher's teaching load is too much. 3) Students do not participate in the successful implementation of the 2013 curriculum; 4) the lack of intensive socialization about the 2013 curriculum profile to students so that students are more comfortable studying with previous learning patterns. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum learning process at Madrasah Aliyah is not by the 2013 curriculum concept.
