In the last two years, the trend of online learning in universities has utilized Zoom as the main media to conduct the learning process. This study sought to determine the effect of using Zoom on students' reading interest. This study was conducted qualitatively using an ex-post facto design. The samples of this study (n=32) were chosen by a cluster random sampling procedure from the total population (N=65). The collected data were analyzed through simple linear regression. The results of the test and interpretation in this study revealed that the use of Zoom as an online learning medium had no significant effect on students' reading interest. The findings of this study disconfirmed a number of researchers who assumed that the students’ independence to search for information or materials online will automatically increase their reading interest. Based on the results of the analysis on the coefficient of determination, the contribution of zoom to students’ reading interest was only 18.4%. This indicated that students’ willingness to search for information independently was not motivated by a high reading interest although students had a high awareness to study independently and to search for reading sources on the internet. Factors outside the use of zoom provided a greater contribution (81.6%). The implication of this study was the need to evaluate the use of zoom as an online learning medium to increase students' reading interest.

The sample was determined by random sampling technique with a sample of 28 people. Data were collected using a scale-shaped instrument. Data processing with the help of SPSS .05 application. Prerequisite tests were carried out before data analysis, namely normality test and homogeneity test. Analyzed data using paired sample t test. The results showed the guided discovery model had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills and it was proven that there was a significant difference between students' critical thinking skills before and after the application of the guided discovery model. The criteria for the significance of the results of the study were strengthened by the N-Gain value the data before and after treatment which was in the very good category.

In the literature study in this study there are several stages that need to be done, namely cutting the source of literartures on the same topic, then sorting the literature with a certain grace period, then choosing search results that match the theme and title to be researched for reference. Data is obtained through literature, notebooks, magazines, and other references as well as relevant research. Data analysis can be adjusted to the research objectives, and the stages are deductive, inductive, interpretive, comparative, historical. This study aims to produce educational media based on Augmented Reality (AR) on the photosynthesis material used in PGSD students at Nusantara PGRI Kediri University who are taking the basic concepts of Science (IPA) 2. The type of development research model used in this study is the Borg Gall model and Lee Owen with the stages of research and data collection, planning, product development, design validation, design revision. However this research is only limited to design revision after expert validation, this is due to limited research time. The instrument used in this research activity was a validity questionnaire (media expert, material expert, and linguist). Data analysis used in this research activity is descriptive qualitative data analysis and qualitative descriptive. The results of the research obtained from the media expert validator were 73 or 91%, the score of the results of the validation of the Photosynthesis material expert was 37 or 92%, and the score of the results of the validation of the linguists was 38 or 95%. This means that the development of AR-based educational media on photosynthetic material is valid, so that it can be used for learning media on photosynthetic material
