Abstract

Mathematics subjects are one of the subjects included in the national exam (UN). In dealing with the National Examination it takes preparation and lots of practice questions and has complete teaching materials to make it easy to repeat the lesson both independently. But in reality, most students do not have complete questions about the collection of UN materials. Therefore it is designed a teaching material that can increase students' interest in the material and work on practice questions to deal with the National Examination. The purpose of this study was to produce an independent worksheet for the preparation of integrated mathematics national exams constructivism approach equipped with modified crossword puzzles. The development model is the 4D model, Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Stage Develop is the development stage to produce independent worksheets for preparation of integrated mathematics national exams. Constructivism approach is equipped with a valid modified crossword puzzle game. Independent worksheets are validated by three experts using the validation sheet. Based on the analysis carried out, the value of the validity of teaching materials in the form of independent worksheets for preparation of integrated mathematics national exams constructivism approach is equipped with a modified crossword puzzle game of 91.87 with very valid criteria. Abstract

Mathematic is one of the difficult and scary subjects. Sometimes, the students feel afraid and it makes them feel forced and uncomfortable. Indirectly this situation would affect the students’ learning outcomes and another reason was the lack of activities in learning mathematics which could train and enhance students’ collaborative skill. Learning would be more meaningful if it involved peers to build students’ knowledge. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to find out the effect of Ludo game in improving students’ collaborative skill. This research was quasi-experimental with the sample of 21 students on third grade in SD 19 Nan Sabaris. The instrument used students’ collaborative assessment sheet. The data analyzed by using effectiveness test with paired sample t-test. The conclusion showed that there were significant different on students’ collaborative skill between the students who were taught by using Ludo and the students who were taught by using conventional learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang monoton akan menyebabkan mahasiswa menjadi kurang aktif mengikuti perkuliahan kimia dasar. Sebagai solusi dilakukan kombinasi google classrrom dalam perkuliahan. Jenis penelitian ini deksriptif kualitatif bertujuan untuk mendeskipsikan perspektif mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan daring kimia dasar menggunakan google classroom. Instrumen data menggunakan kuisioner. Kuisioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data respon mahasiswa setelah menggunakan google classroom dalam empat kali sesi perkuliahan daring. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari 70 orang mahasiswa fakultas teknik Universitas Ekasakti 80,00% meyatakan setuju google classroom mudah untuk dioperasikan, 64,28% menyatakan setuju google classroom memberikan kemudahan dalam pengerjaan tugas, 88,57% menyatakan setuju penggunaan google classroom memotivasi perkuliahan. Secara umum dapat kita lihat mahasiswa fakultas teknik Universitas Ekasakti memberikan respon positif dalam penggunaan google classroom dalam perkuliahan kimia dasar

Abstract

AbstrakDengan menerapkan pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis web di perguruan tinggi khususnya dalam perkuliahan Fisika diharapkan mahasiswa mampu memahami berbagai konsep Fisika dan soal-soal dan  menggunakan teknologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu didasarkan atas adanya kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi penelitian ini mahasiswa tingkat I Fakultas Teknik dan Perencanaan Universitas Ekasakti dalam perkuliahan Fisika Dasar semester ganjil 2019/2020. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes tertulis yang terdiri dari soal objektif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t, namun sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar Fisika mahasiswa kelas eksperimen yaitu 84,75 sedangkan kelas kontrol 80,69. Hal ini menunjukan hasil belajar Fisika mahasiswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar Fisika kelas kontrol. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil uji-t terhadap hasil belajar tersebut diperoleh bahwa thitung >  ttabel, yaitu 2,04  > 1,67. Adanya perbedaan nilai antara thitung dengan ttabel menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang berarti penerapan bahan ajar dengan variasi bentuk tugas berbasis web dengan yang tidak menggunakan bahan ajar ini. Dengan demikian bahan ajar Fisika dengan variasi bentuk tugas berbasis web memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa teknik.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused many significant changes in the learning system. By the implementation of online learning policies, it raises its own problematics until the emergence of ghosting phenomena in learning. The ghosting phenomenon is seen as the inactivity of students in online learning. This study is a type of quantitative descriptive research using survey method with a sample of 1,974 tutors at the Open University. The data was collected through questionnaire instruments shared online with tutors. The questionnaire instrument is an open question and there is also a likert scale. As a support, also conducted interviews with several tutors. The sampling technique used is a random sampling technique. The results of this study inform that 94.43% of tutors have experienced the phenomenon of ghosting carried out by students while 5.57% stated that there is no ghosting phenomenon in online learning. Of the 94.43% who stated the occurrence of the ghosting phenomenon, 31.05% of them think that ghosting is a phenomenon of student inactivity in online learning (not responding when called and invited to discuss), 20.62% of other tutors believe the same thing even admits that the ghosting phenomenon is common in online learning, other tutors also revealed some things related to ghosting in online learning. Thus, learning strategies are needed to overcome the phenomenon of ghosting in online learning.

Abstract

Work is related to one's life and social level in society. The current high unemployment rate can be caused by the lack of preparedness of graduates of education institutions, especially university graduates facing the world of work. To overcome this problem several universities have implemented career counseling guidance services. This study aims to see how far the benefits felt by alumni and the potential social impact caused by the implementation of career counseling guidance services at the University level. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with samples taken are some graduates from two leading universities in West Sumatra, namely IAIN Batusangkar and UIN IB Padang. Data in the study were collected using a questionnaire distributed randomly to 42 respondents online. After filling out the questionnaire online, it can be done by analyzing the data related to the social impact felt by the alumni after the implementation of career counseling activities by the university. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that career counseling guidance activities according to the alumni proved to be very effective in assisting in obtaining jobs. Indirectly with the existence of career counseling guidance services can reduce the unemployment rate so that it will have a significant impact socially in the community environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the comparison of departmental distribution systems in secondary schools in Indonesia and Malaysia. This type of research is descriptive, the research instrument used is the observation sheet and document documentation when conducting field visits to sample schools in Indonesia and Malaysia. Conclusions from the results of this study include differences in departmental distribution systems with striking differences, namely in Indonesia schools can classify students based on majors at grade X level, while in Malaysia, grouping majors starts at grade 4 at the secondary school level. In addition, the basic curriculum differences that students must take also can be clearly seen and differ significantly.

Abstract

The new challenge faced in carrying out IPA learning in elementary school, especially in SDN 01 Kubang Siamang Bunyi is to increase student activeness and involvement. The aim of this research is to improve student liveliness and engagement through Funscience methods in IPA learning. Fun science is a method by using simple experiments that are interestingly packaged and cause fun effects for students in IPA learning. This type of research is descriptive, involving student respondents in SDN 01 Kubang Siamang Bunyi Regency 50 cities of West Sumatra Province. Data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets and interviews. Data is analyzed descriptively. The results of the data analysis showed that the application of Funscience methods improved the activeness of students in IPA learning in SDN 01 Kubang Siamang Bunyi Kenagarian Kubang Regency 50 City. Funscience can be one of the alternative methods that can be applied in IPA learning to improve and improve the quality of learning. Funscience is a method of learning that has been adapted to the characteristics of students in elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the level of practicality of the electronic physics module based on a scientific approach to fluid materials. Research and development using a 4D model consisting of the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The practicality test is carried out after the definition and design stages are completed. The research instrument is an observation sheet on the implementation of lesson plans, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and the respondents are teachers and students of class XI MIA in one of the SMAN in Padang City. The method used is descriptive statistics to get the average value and percentage. An electronic physics module based on a scientific approach is said to be practical if the practitioner's assessment states that the module can be applied. Based on the teacher's response, the average percentage of 89.28% met the very practical category and the student's response was 78, 45% met the practical category. Overall, the average percentage of the practicality of the electronic physics module based on this scientific approach is 83.86% in the very practical category. This shows that the electronic physics module based on a scientific approach is easy to use and useful for teachers and students.
