Abstract

One aspect that contributes to the quality of education in Indonesia, which is still low, is the commitment of the teaching profession to carry out the work. Based on the data and direct observation, it was found that the professional commitment of the teacher was quite good but not optimal. This study aims to analyze the positive and significant influence of digital literacy on the commitment of the teaching profession in the Rantepao District. The survey is quantitative to find factual facts in decision-making. With a population of State Junior High School teachers in the Rantepao sub-district and the research, the sample is 122 state ASN teachers in Rantepao District, using a questionnaire instrument. The instrument was validated by experts and tested on 30 teachers of ASN 3 SMP Negeri in North Toraja Regency to obtain a valid and reliable instrument. Based on the analysis results obtained conclusions through a simple regression equation = 1.840 + 0,600X. The digital literacy regression coefficient is positive at 0.600 with a sig value of 0.002. smaller than α= 0,05. There is a positive and significant effect of digital literacy on the commitment of the teaching profession by 33.3%, and other factors influence the rest.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility, Good Corporate Governance with proxy (board of commissioners, audit committee), and firm size towards tax avoidance. The population in this study is the Consumer Goods Industries listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 until 2019. The sample was determined by the purposive sampling method and obtain 16 companies. Type of data used was secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id and corporate websites. The method of analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The results of study show that Corporate Social Responsibility has significant effect on tax avoidance, where the significant value is 0.001 < 0.05. Good Corporate Governance with proxy (board of commissioners has significant effect on tax avoidance where the significant value is 0,032 < 0.05, audit committee does not have significant effect on tax avoidance where the significant value are 0.839 < 0.05), firm size does not have significant effect on tax avoidance, where the significant value are 0.874 > 0.05. Simultaneous test is known that the significance value (α) 0.009 < 0.05 with a calculated value of fcount 3,767 < ftable  2.76 which means that independent variables corporate social responsibility, good corporate governance with proxy by the board of commissioners and audit committee,  firm size has a significant influence together (simultaneous) on tax avoidance. While the coefficient of determination in this study can be explained that variations of independent variables corporate social responsibility, good corporate governance with proxy by the board of commissioners and audit committees, firm size can explain the variation of variable dependent tax avoidance is 47%. While the rest (100% – 47% = 53 %) is a variation of other variables that affect tax avoidance that was not found in this study.

Abstract

More and more users and business owners are gravitating toward short films. Short videos are now more engaging and entertaining due to more interactive engagements and the development of artificial intelligence technology like facial recognition. Short video marketing communications emerged due to the rapid growth of short videos. Social media usage is one kind of short video marketing communication. Short videos can now be uploaded to social media platforms for communication. TikTok is one of those social media sites. To sell its app, TikTok uses short movies that, thanks to an algorithm, quickly become viral hits. This study aims to identify Social Media Algorithms and Short Videos as Effective Communication Media in Tourism Marketing. Descriptive techniques are used in this study's qualitative methodology. The findings of the study demonstrate how social platforms like TikTok, which use algorithms based on user preferences and short films uploaded to social media, have changed how prospective tourists learn about places to visit the use of brief videos through social media platforms as marketing communications influences tourists' perceptions of destination image and tourist intentions, with interactive marketing playing a more significant role. This study investigates empirically the influence of usage on perceptions of destination image and tourism intentions. Regarding the effect of visitor intention, the influence of tourist attractions and accommodations is greater than that of short video marketing on image perception.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence organizational citizenship behavior, competence, and organizational culture on employee job satisfaction, analyze the influence of organizational citizenship behavior, competence and organizational culture on employee performance, analyze job satisfaction on employee performance and analyze the influence of organizational citizenship behavior, competence, and organizational culture on performance through employee job satisfaction. The research was carried out in Makassar City, precisely at PT. Bank Mandiri with a population of 782 employees and a sample of 265 people as respondents based on the Slovin formula. Questionnaire results data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model using AMOS 20. The results of the study found that organizational citizenship behavior had a negative and not significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The cause of the OCB variable has a negative effect because all organizational citizenship behavior indicators are not easy or difficult to apply by employees which cause employees to not behave comparatively and innovatively in dealing with and carrying out their work, while the causes of organizational citizenship behavior have no significant effect on job satisfaction, because employees do not have the orientation and satisfactory job prospects in developing good work behavior. The behavior of organizational members has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance because all indicators do not support employees being able to develop their behavior to achieve optimal work results. The behavior of organizational members has a negative and insignificant effect on performance through employee job satisfaction. This is because variable indicators are difficult for employees to apply. After all, the demands for services carried out by employees must be by the systems, procedures, policies, and provisions that apply within an organization, making it difficult to develop behavior that is following the wishes and interests of customers. And this is what causes employee performance to be difficult to increase and through job satisfaction employees feel dissatisfied with what they are doing

Abstract

Product quality must remain good to consumers and expand market segmentation to increase income and improve farmers' welfare, post-harvest handling needs to be done. One of the post-harvest handlings of fresh oyster mushroom products is grading. The grading process is carried out based on the quality of the oyster mushroom harvest which is classified into three, namely Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. Computer technology with digital image processing segmentation and image classification using canny edge detection can be the first step in the process of grading fresh oyster mushrooms. so that the image can be processed for canny detection, it is necessary to do image segmentation. From the results of thresholding on the oyster mushroom image, the threshold value of T is obtained, namely with T1 below 50 and T2 above 150. The T threshold value is a classification for the canny detection process. Of the six oyster mushroom datasets, five datasets of oyster mushrooms were obtained accurately, while one mushroom had broken lines and noise.
