The creative economy’s GDP contribution continues to increase every year, relatively in accordance with the employment. By increasing the creative economy sector, it is expected that it will be able to solve problems in development and eliminate the economic dependence on natural resources. However, efforts to develop the creative economy still have a number of problems, which one of the main obstacles is the role of policy makers or the government. This research aims to further discuss the role of local government in supporting the development and the strengthening of the creative economy in Indonesia. This study applies a qualitative approach with the method of literature study, by obtaining secondary data from articles, journals related to the creative economy and local governments with a total of 51 papers. The data is collected from the Publish or Perish (PoP) application by using literature sources from Google Scholar and Scopus. For data analysis, this study applies content analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is tested by using source triangulation. The results of the study show that local governments have played an active role in the efforts to strengthen the creative economy sector. Yet, they still have a lot of homework to do in improving the quality of the creative economy sector.

This article will discuss the neutrality of bureaucracy in Indonesia with the perspective of data collection from online media. Where the purpose of this paper is to find out the involvement of ASN in the power struggle in the implementation of regional head elections. If we look at the many cases of neutrality violations that occurred in the 2020 regional head elections, this is also justified by the State Civil Affairs Commission which records cases of violations of bureaucratic neutrality. The implementation of regional head elections conducted in 2020 is indeed full of pros and cons, besides that almost every regional head election always arises the issue of bureaucratic neutrality. In 2020, there were 694 ASNs who committed violations and have been reported to the State Civil Apparatus Commission. This shows that the implementation of regional head elections is one of the momentums for candidates for regional heads and ASNs to conduct patron-client practices. In addition, the implementation of regional head elections is also carried out during the covid-19 pandemic so that it is possible to have ASN involvement in the implementation of campaigns and so on. Because in 2020 there is a lot of involvement of civil apparatus that shows open support to one of the candidates.

Pesan Dari 8 Negeri is a fairly comprehensive book on political reflection. It starts with a story from the west with the story of Brutus as a symbol of political stupidity which becomes a common thread that political events are indeed very dynamic. Interestingly, the term Brutus syndrome appears to distinguish this book from several other references that discuss politics. In addition, the phrase judl explicitly shows that politics is the culture of society by choosing the phrase "country" rather than "state". In addition, politics in the historical aspect can be displayed in a flowing language style that is effectively attached to the reader's mind.

The concept of the welfare state of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, its implementation is realized in the form of regional government (decentralization), both provincial, city and district governments. Each local government has the right and obligation to take care of its administration to improve efficiency and effectiveness. After the Covid-19 Pandemic, almost all local governments experienced a decline in obtaining regional original revenue. The same thing happened to the local government of Bandung Regency, after the Covid-19 Pandemic, economic growth has stagnated for almost 2 years. This causes the regional original revenue of Bandung Regency to decrease. In addition, the decline is because not all regional potentials have been explored and managed properly. The research was conducted in three stages. The first stage, the literature study, is an inventory of regulations regarding the management of regional property/regional assets and regulations regarding regional original revenue. The second stage is observation at several related institutions. The third stage is the discussion by comparing the normative juridical legal arrangements regarding the management of regional assets (das sollen) and their application in reality (das sein). The results show that the Bandung Regency Government has implemented regional asset management based on the asset management cycle which is under the responsibility of the Regional Finance and Assets Agency. In addition to the asset cycle, regional asset management is also carried out according to regulations. Asset management in accordance with the asset management cycle and the laws and regulations can certainly significantly increase the regional original revenue of Bandung Regency. One of the efforts made by the Bandung Regency Government in increasing its regional revenue is improving road access to tourist destinations. With infrastructure improvements, it is hoped that it can become a special attraction for tourists visiting tourist destinations in Bandung Regency

This study aims to evaluate the level of marginalization of local communities and analyze their participation in sustainable development on Batam Island as an Industrial city that is developing and bordering ASEAN countries. The research applied a descriptive qualitative research method with a case study approach and used the concept of gentrification, an implication of new industrial cities describing a phenomenon empirically. The results show that Batam Island, as one of the developing new industrial cities than other cities, cannot withstand the influx of people from outside the cities to work and settle there. As the center of industrial cities in Indonesia's border regions with Malaysia and Singapore, it has opened cooperation with developed countries with the support of globalization currents to have affected the urban system and destroyed many traditional regional models. This research found that local cities' development strategies are required through the collaboration of sub-state actors and must be planned under a more macroscopic framework so that local communities are not deeply marginalized as part of industrial cities' growth.

This study is aimed to understand the challenges of the Indonesia’s local governments in the era where technology has transformed the public service system from a manual method to an all-digital application method. A series of efforts are made to discuss and find the solutions to the problem of the study. The data is searched electronically from literature sources including various publications such as journals, and other papers that are used as the data sources of this research. After a series of selection and searching for relevant data, the required data is finally collected. The data is examined through a phenomenological approach, referring to an effort in obtaining resilience from some existing data to get the answers for the discussed phenomenon, the challenges and roles of local government. The analysis process involves several techniques, including coding, verifying, evaluating, synthesizing, organizing, and carrying out in-depth interpretations that make it easier for the author to draw conclusions to answer the research problem with a good validity. The results of the data and discussion conclude that the challenges and roles given to the local governments in this reform era include the inconsistency of Bureaucratic Reform in the government and the challenges in adapting various dynamics such as pandemics and other crises, including the abuse of authority and indiscipline of the apparatus, especially the officials in carrying out their duties and functions as public servants.
