Abstract

Early childhood is a crucial period for developmental,where parental involvement and the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) significantly influence digital literacy and language learning.This study systematically reviews existing literatureto examine how parental engagement in ICT-based learning environments enhances children’s educational outcomes. Unlike previous research, this study provides a holistic analysis that integrated both digital literacy and language learning within early childhood education. The findings highlight that active parental participation not only fosters academic success and socio-emotional development but also mitigates some challenges associated with ICT use. While ICT enhances language acquisition and digital skills, concern such as cognitive strain, online safety risks, and disparities in internet access pose significant barriers to its effectiveness. This research underscores that necessity of structured parental involvement, equitable digital policies, and targeted ICT training for both educators and parents. Implementing these strategies can optimize children’s learning experiences and bridge existing gaps in digital literacy education, ensuring a more inclusive and effective integration of ICT in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of schoology-based hybrid project-based learning on digital literacy in children. This research is a type of quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The data of this study comes from the analysis of 25 studies obtained from ERIC, Sciencedirect, IEEE, Scopus and ProQuest. The inclusion criteria in the study are the research published in 2021-2024; SINTA or Scopus indexed research; Research should be relevant; The research data must be complete, and the sample size > 30 children. Data analysis with the help of JASP 0.19.30 application. The results of this study concluded that the average value of the summary effect size was ( rRE = 0.989; Z = 8.213; p < 0.001). These findings show a positive influence of schoology-based hybrid project-based learning on digital literacy in children.

Abstract

Kemandirian merupakan aspek fundamental dalam perkembangan anak usia dini yang dapat didorong melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Salah satu metode yang terbukti efektif adalah cooking class, yang memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh cooking class terhadap peningkatan kemandirian anak serta mengukur efektivitasnya dibandingkan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimen, melibatkan 30 anak kelompok B di TK Ikal Iqra’ DWP Perum Bulog Padang, yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (B1) dan kelompok kontrol (B2). Data dikumpulkan melalui format checklist sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Bartlett, serta uji t (t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemandirian anak setelah mengikuti cooking class. Analisis effect size menunjukkan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 1,25, yang mengindikasikan dampak besar dari intervensi ini terhadap kemandirian anak. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa cooking class dapat diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran efektif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kemandirian, sosial, kognitif, dan motorik anak. Namun, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada jumlah sampel yang relatif kecil dan durasi intervensi yang terbatas, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih luas dan periode pengamatan yang lebih panjang guna mengonfirmasi temuan ini.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis 199 dokumen menggunakan analisis bibliometrik yang bersumber dari Scopus dengan ekstensi file CSV menggunakan RStudio dan VOSViewer. Data yang dianalisis mulai daari tahun 2004 s.d 2024 dengan laju peningkatan jumlah publikasi dari tahun ke tahun mencapai 18.73%. Journal of Early Childhood Literacy yang diterbitkan oleh SAGE Publication menjadi sumber paling berkontribusi dengan total 18 publikasi. Empat penulis paling berkontribusi dengan h-index 4, salah satunya adalah Neuman SB. Afiliasi paling berkontribusi adalah University of Virginia dengan total 13 artikel terbit. Artikel yang paling banyak disitasi ditulis oleh Nicolopoulou A (2015) yang terbit di Early Child Reasearch Quarterly, sebanyak 114 sitasi. Tiga negara eropa, AS, Inggris, dan Australia menjadi negara dengan tingkat kolaborasi tertinggi dalam penelitian literasi anak usia dini. Kata digital literacy dan media literacy menjadi kebaruan kata kunci untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the ethno-nationalist-based Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) model to increase the value of patriotism and discipline in children through meta-analysis. The inclusion criteria in this study are a) research data obtained from Google Scholar; ERIC, ProQuest, Wiley, DOAJ and Springer, b) research must be indexed by SINTA, Scopus or journal indexing portals managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Technology equivalent to DOAJ, EBSCO and Index Copernicus, c) the topic must be relevant, d) research published in 2022-2024, e) research publications must have a value of (r), (t), or (F), f) research samples must be more than 25 children. The meta-analysis research uses the JASP application for data analysis. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant influence of the effectiveness of the Ethno-nationalist-Based Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning Model on the value of character of love for the homeland and discipline in children with a strong influence category (p< 0.001; rRE = 1.034). Furthermore, in this study, no publication bias was detected so that it can be scientifically accounted for. These findings show that the Effectiveness Model of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning Based on Ethno-nationalism is effective in increasing the Character Values of Love for the Fatherland and Discipline in Children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the irrigators of ethno-religious based jigsaw models to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning Islamic religious education in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. This study analyzed 27 effect sizes obtained from Google scholars, ERIC, Wiley, and Taylor of Francis from the 2021-2024 issue with 1034 students. The JASP application assists the data analysis in this study.  Effect size analysis is calculated with a 95% confidence level. The study results concluded that the effect size value obtained through the random effect model was 1,952 (high effect size category). These findings explain that, on average, students who apply the ethno-religious-based jigsaw model are effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in learning Islam. This study provides important information on using the jigsaw model in the future.

Abstract

Belajar bahasa Arab pada anak usia dini memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan kognitif, sosial dan emosional anak. Di samping sebagai bahasa yang digunakan dalam ibadah umat Muslim, bahasa Arab juga memberikan keuntungan dalam memperkaya keterampilan bahasa dan intelektual anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan pembelajaran bahasa Arab Yang Efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara, angket, dan lembar observasi dengan informan terdiri dari Kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penerapan metode yang efektif, yakni metode bernyanyi, hafal, bermain dan menulis anak belajar lebih menyenangkan serta meningkatkan antusiasme anak- anak dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Integrasi pendekatan ini mendukung perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional anak, sehingga pembelajaran bahasa Arab menjadi lebih mudah dipahami dan   menarik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the flipped classroom-based Jigsaw model on students' critical thinking skills in PAI learning. This type of research is quantitative research with the use of meta-analysis. The inclusion criteria in this study are research published in 2021-2024; Research must be relevant; research must be experimental or quasi-experimental methods; research must be indexed by SINTA, Scopus or Web of Science; Research must be carried out on Islamic Religious Education learning and research data must be complete to calculate the effect size value. Data analysis is to calculate the effect size value with the help of a JSAP application. The results of the study concluded that the flipped classroom-based jigsaw model positively influenced the thinking ability of students in PAI learners with a score (rRE= 1.026; z= 7.086 and p < 0.001). This finding provides important information for applying the flipped classroom-based jigsaw learning model to encourage the critical thinking skills of school students.

Abstract

Pentingnya modul Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) terletak pada kemampuannya mendukung pengembangan kompetensi profesional calon guru. Namun, hingga saat ini, belum tersedia modul ajar yang terintegrasi antara teori dan praktik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul PTK yang valid bagi mahasiswa PPG di FKIP UNSRI. Menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) hingga tahap expert review, validitas modul ini dinilai oleh ahli materi (89,28%), ahli media (88,33%), dan ahli bahasa (97,91%). Modul yang dikembangkan tidak hanya memadukan teori dan studi kasus, tetapi juga dirancang untuk praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ini dapat membantu mahasiswa PPG merancang dan melaksanakan PTK secara efektif, sekaligus mendukung peningkatan kompetensi profesionalisme mereka sebagai calon guru. Implikasi praktisnya, modul ini memberikan panduan aplikatif dalam pelaksanaan PTK, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.
