Abstract

This study aims to describe online-based science learning at SD Negeri Karang Jadi in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, both the obstacles experienced by teachers and students and the efforts made by teachers to overcome obstacles during the online science learning process. The research method is qualitative. The research subjects included principals, teachers, and high-grade students of SD Negeri Karang Jadi Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and supported by documentation. The research instrument used interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses inductive analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The data validity technique used source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the study indicate the following. First, online-based science learning at SD Negeri Karang Jadi Ogan Komering Ulu Timur in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year has been implemented even though it has not been able to run optimally. Online-based science learning is carried out through the WhatsApp Group application, YouTube, and google forms. The two obstacles experienced by teachers and students are: constraints on the internet network; cost constraints to buy internet quotas; limited facilities and infrastructure used for online learning; limited ability to use technology owned by teachers, students, and parents, participants; students have difficulty understanding the material. The third attempt is to overcome the obstacles faced during the online learning process, namely by conducting home visit learning and using interesting learning videos on YouTube.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to know the application of HOTS on SD N 3 Krasak Pecangaan Jepara. The research’s method is descriptive qualitatively. The object being analyzed are the midterms assessment (PTS) and the final assessment (PAS) the study subject is a 5th class teacher and principal of SD N 3 Krasak. Data in this research is obtained by observation and interviews. The result of this research shows that both the question of multiple-choice tests and essay in SDN 3 Krasak has contained HOTS at 33,13% percentage. The suggestion of researchers is the school needs to improve the hots skills on the instruments of evaluation so that students can think creatively.

Abstract

A school is a place for the government to carry out its obligations to fulfill the education rights of Indonesian citizens. In addition to the right to education which is a constitutional mandate, schools are also part of the fulfillment of children's rights based on Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights and Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. The formulation of the Child-Friendly School program involved 12 ministries, agencies, and foundations related to child welfare. The goal of the Child-Friendly School policy is to be able to fulfill, guarantee and protect the rights of children. Another goal is to ensure that schools can develop children's interests, talents, and abilities and prepare children to be responsible for a life of tolerance, mutual respect, work together for progress, and a spirit of peace so that later schools are expected to not only give birth to an intellectually intelligent generation but also give birth to an emotionally and spiritually intelligent generation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) The importance of instilling character values in bold learning, (2) instilling character values in thematic learning with social studies in a bold manner, (3) regulated constraints & solutions in instilling values characters in thematic learning with social studies in a bold manner. The research was conducted at SDN Kepek II Saptosari Gunungkidul for grade IV students (15 students). The research was conducted in January 2021. The data sources were the principal, fourth-grade teachers, parents & students. The data technique uses observation, interview, & documentation techniques. The research instruments were observation, interview, & documentation. Test the validity of the data using input, improve persistence, triangulate (source, technique, & time), & use reference materials. The data analysis technique uses Miles & Huberman analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data retrieval. The results showed that (1) instilling character values is very important so that students have good attitudes & behavior. (2) Instilling character values is done in learning activities & outside learning; character values that have been successfully instilled are religion, the enthusiasm of reading, discipline, responsibility, honesty, environmental care attitude, and social care attitude. (3) Obstacles that inform & the solution is that if the child does not have a smartphone, the children can take & collect assignments at school, the information is forwarded to other students' parents, the teacher visits the student's house, the teacher gives time to arrange assignments until 21.00 WIB, the teacher uses various learning media to help the students understand the material, teacher supervision is limited so that parents include their children in tutoring & TPA activities to support the instilling of character values in children.

Abstract

This article aims to describe how the application of the 2M2PR (Motivation, Multimedia, Game, Strengthening, Celebration) Method Based on Quantum Learning and Traditional Games in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. This research is included in library research. The result obtained is that the integration of traditional games is an innovative effort in the language learning process related to national culture. Many methods can be developed in learning such as the 2M2PR method based on quantum learning and traditional games. Traditional games can be integrated with language learning such as snake and ladder games and crank games and many more. In this case, the teacher must have a creative attitude in selecting and modifying traditional games so that they are following the material to be taught. It is hoped that the 2M2PR method and the integration of traditional games in Indonesian language learning can increase attractiveness in language learning and make it easier for students to convey and understand the subject matter. In addition, integrating traditional games, can foster a sense of love for culture and introduce national culture to students from an early age.

Abstract

This research is backgrounded because there are still students who argue because they can not accept the opinion of their friends. When students are divided into groups some do not want to group with others and he only wants to group with his close friends. The study aims to look at the extent of physical activity-based learning models in grade IV elementary schools that apply games in learning to foster democratic character. The research method used is the development method or Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this study was grade IV students of Satriyan State Elementary School 02 Batang which numbered 19 students. Expert validation results show that model validation is 79%, material validation is 82%. The technique used at the time of the study was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the type of mathematics learning difficulties experienced by students, factors that cause difficulty learning mathematics, and efforts to overcome mathematical learning difficulties. The focus of the problems discussed in this study is the cause of the difficulty of learning mathematics in the time of the Covid-19 students of the fourth-grade students of Bumirejo. This research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at the SD Negeri 2 Bumirejo with the subject of class IV teachers, parents of fourth-grade students, and fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Bumirejo. The techniques used to collect data are observation, interviews, documentation, and learning test results. Data analysis was carried out with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that 1) the most difficulties carried out by students, namely in the difficulty of solving the problem of stories with a percentage of 88.46%, difficulties in planting the concept of mathematics 69.23%, difficulties in calculating the division of 34.61%. 2) Factors that cause student learning difficulties include negative attitudes in learning mathematics, lack of interest in students in learning mathematics, students prefer to play with peers than doing assignments, and students easier to understand the material when learning to face face to learn from home. 3) Efforts made to overcome learning difficulties carried out by teachers, students, and parents. The effort made by the teacher is to provide direction to parents and help students when difficult. Efforts made by students, namely by participating in lessons, and efforts made by parents, namely by motivation and accompanying students to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes in writing Javanese script, determine the factor affecting learning outcomes of writing Javanese script, and provide solutions to overcome the factors affecting the learning outcome of writing Javanese script in fourth-grade students at SD N Mirit Kebumen. It is a qualitative study. The subject of this study was fourth-grade students of SD N Mirit Kebumen and teachers of local content. The object of this study was the students’ writing skill of Javanese script with sandhangan panyigeg wanda and sandhangan wyanjana. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the learning outcome in writing Javanese script on fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Mirit Kebumen was low. It was based on the average score of writing Javanese script of 60.33 (24.80%) or only 5 students who reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), while 76.19% or 16 students have not reached it. The learning outcome of writing Javanese script was still low as indicated by the high number of students who have not reached the KKM. The factors affecting the learning outcome were not memorizing all Javanese scripts including sandhangan panyigeg wanda and sandhangan wyanjana; afraid of making mistakes; not confident; more difficult to write than reading Javanese script; and lack of motivational support from parents. Therefore, to solve this issue, the teacher should be able to provide interesting learning so that students are enthusiastic about participating in learning activities. The teacher can use learning models and media that can support learning, help teachers to convey material easier, and make it easier for students to understand the material to achieve the expected outcome.

Abstract

The research was conducted to know how effective family interpersonal relationships are to student moral behavior. This research is correlation research with the number of sample 24 students. The data collecting technique used a closed questionnaire formed rating scale. The instrument validity test used product-moment and the reliability test used Alpha Cronbach formulation. The data analysis technique used normality and linearity test. The hypothesis test used a double linear regression test. The result of the research is there is a positive correlation between family interpersonal relationships to student moral behavior SDN Suryodiningratan 3 Yogyakarta with the correlation between interpersonal communications system in the family environment (X) and student moral behavior (Y) with correlation coefficient in the amount of 0,321 (p<0,05), so that sum of interpersonal communication variable contribution in the family environment to student moral behavior is 32,1% while the rest is the external variable factor. Thus it is gotten a research conclusion that communication system applied family environment influenced highly to moral behavior changes for a student so that it needs to be increased communication intensity between children and parents or all family members.

Abstract

The results are obtained indicate that was: 1) The development of PAKAPIN Media/smart pocket boards has several characteristics in terms of simplicity, emphasis, integration, language, attractiveness, quality, and flexibility. Media PAKAPIN/ Smart pouch board was created using developments from Borg and Gall with potential and problem steps, gathering information, Product design, Product validation, Product improvement, Product Trial, and Product revision. 2) PAKAPIN/Smart Pocket Board media are appropriate to be used as learning media because the results of the study show the value of media experts 77.5 material experts 85.7 ratings from the teacher 86.6 Student responses 89. The average of all assessments obtained is 84.7 which includes in the very good category. and 3). The students gave a very good response to the PAKAPIN Media / Smart Pocket Board.
