Abstract

This article will explain further the inter-regional governance cooperation required by regions that touch each other, as well as by regions that have similar areas and natural products. Cooperation is needed to meet the needs of a region that cannot be met alone and therefore requires assistance from other regions. This article uses examples of successful collaboration carried out by the East Java Provincial Government where there are several good collaborations that will be and are currently being carried out. The method used in this writing is literature study by analyzing previous research that has been carried out and then analyzing it with appropriate theory to arrive at conclusions that are in line with what was expected. The results in this paper are that in the process of cooperation, commitment from each region is very much needed, there must be an official written agreement to enter into a collaboration. In developments in the field it is also known that in implementing cooperation there is a need for other actors who are interconnected. The conclusion in this paper is that in managing cooperation, each region must have principles that must be upheld, for example in implementing cooperation in East Java Province which uses Mintzberg principles, then in implementing cooperation it will use Mintzberg principles. It also involves other elements which in this case are known as the pentahelix concept.

Abstract

This study explores the level of public participation in e-government in Indonesia, focusing on the Electronic Participation Index (EPI). This research uses qualitative methods and qualitative content analysis. The main data was obtained from the UN E-Government Knowledgebase, especially the E-Participation Index for 2016 to 2022 and Indonesia's E-Participation Index ranking data from 2004 to 2022. The results of this study show that the improvement of e-government infrastructure and services has not been fully successful in increasing public participation. The challenges faced include inadequate regulations, lack of data integration, gaps in ICT infrastructure, and inequality in internet access, especially in rural areas. The culture of bureaucracy, corruption, collusion, and nepotism also hinder public trust in the e-government system. Some government initiatives, such as the Peduli Lindungi application, have shown positive results but have not been fully optimal. To overcome these challenges, it is necessary to improve regulations, integrate data, reduce the digital divide, and increase government transparency and accountability. What is new about this study lies in its comprehensive analysis of the E-Participation Index in the Indonesian context, which provides a unique perspective on the correlation between e-government infrastructure and public participation levels. In addition, the study offers actionable insights and recommendations for policymakers to improve e-government services by addressing specific regional and cultural barriers.

The research aims to investigate conventional aboriginal know-how practices of the Galo clan and e-governance meadow relating to the CAK issue and recommend lawful aspects. The researchers surveyed and collected information from 46 houses in Aalo town, Darka village, and Kabu village in West Siang District and Basar District in Arunachal Pradesh, the primary sources. The paper reports on findings from a study conducted in Arunachal Pradesh, India, to assess attitudes towards customary Aboriginal know-how (CAK) and its conservation. The survey demonstrates multiple views regarding the significance of safeguarding CAK through intellectual property rights (IPR) laws, traditional knowledge's role in socio-economic development, and whether e-governance can effectively help preserve CAK. In conclusion, a delicate balance must be between preserving traditional Galo practices and embracing modernity. Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the associations between levels of population density and the transmission of COVID-19 in Indonesia. Descriptive analysis is employed to determine the data distribution of the response variable (dependent variable Y) as well as the independent variables X1 and X2. Therefore, inferential analysis is a quantitative technique that involves examining a sample in order to draw conclusions about a larger population. The present investigation has revealed a statistically significant positive connection (r = 0.954) between the incidence of COVID-19 patients and population density in Indonesia. The Model Summary provides the R value (Correlation Coefficient) of 0.959, indicating a strong positive correlation between the variables. Additionally, the multiple correlation coefficient r (Multiple R) is 0.920, which represents the determination index or the proportion of the influence of X on Y. Therefore, it can be asserted that 92% of COVID-19 cases are driven by population density and the number of individuals experiencing employment terminations, whilst the remaining 8% is affected by additional factors. The regression equation can be constructed from the Coefficients table in the following manner: The equation can be expressed as . The calculation of the Standard Error of the Estimate (SE) yields a value of 8151.076 or 8151. The standardized coefficient (Beta) of 1.381 represents the extent of association between the number of COVID-19 infection cases and population density.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether corruption in the court can be prevented with Information Technology (IT). This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach where the main data source can be processed from relevant and current literature material with the theme of this article as secondary data. Information technology is the most influential factor in changing the world today. The administration of justice is an activity that includes the provision of information, communication, and production of new information. There is no denying that information technology will affect the way justice administration works. Corruption that often occurs in courts (judicial commissions) is in the form of petty corruption, namely administrative or bureaucratic corruption with a power approach, namely the exclusive power of decision makers. The results showed that optimal use of IT can support efforts to eradicate corruption in the court by using E-Court, paperless court, E-Filing, E-Skum, E-Payment, E-Summons applications. These various applications can prevent judicial corruption due to the application of transparency principles, efficiency principles such as cost savings, reduction of illegal levies, ease of information transfer, reduction of case broker practices, reduction of opportunities for corruption due to potential conflicts of interest and face. -face-to-face, reducing gratification and bribery which are the main requirements of smart governance so that efforts to eradicate judicial corruption can be effective.
