Abstract

This study highlights the modernization efforts undertaken by the Cahaya Islam Islamic Boarding School in responding to changing times, especially due to the influence of globalization and the development of digital technology. In this era, educational institutions including Islamic boarding schools can no longer rely solely on traditional methods; they need to adopt new approaches in management, such as digitalization of administration, use of online platforms for learning, and technology-based information systems. However, these updates must not eliminate the main roots of Islamic boarding schools, namely noble values ​​such as sincerity, humility, morals, and spirituality. This means that even though Islamic boarding schools are starting to use technology, the values ​​that have been the characteristics and strengths of Islamic boarding schools are still maintained and used as the main guidelines. This is a challenge as well as an opportunity, how to combine modernity with tradition so that Islamic boarding schools remain relevant, develop, and do not lose their identity. This transformation still pays attention to Islamic boarding school values ​​such as sincerity, manners, and togetherness. The key to its success lies in the role of wise Islamic boarding school leaders and the support of all elements, including teachers and students, in understanding and managing technology in an Islamic way. The results of the study show that digital transformation is not a threat, but an opportunity for Islamic boarding schools to develop and become pioneers of change amidst global challenges. The Cahaya Islam Islamic Boarding School is an example that modernization can go hand in hand with preserving tradition.

Abstract

The crime of defamation continues to escalate in Indonesia, particularly with the rapid advancement of globalization and digital media. Instead of diminishing, defamatory acts especially those committed through internet-based platforms and the press have become increasingly prevalent. This study aims to analyze the criminal offense of defamation and insult through the lens of Indonesian criminal law, particularly when disseminated via the mass media. Utilizing a normative juridical approach, the research relies on secondary data sources, including legislation, legal doctrines, scholarly literature, and official documents. The study finds that existing legal instruments often struggle to adapt to the fast-paced evolution of digital communication, particularly in cyberspace, where jurisdictional complexities and evidentiary challenges hinder effective law enforcement. Furthermore, defamatory acts conducted without the victim’s consent not only contravene prevailing legal norms but also violate the values and social customs upheld by local communities. The study highlights the importance of legal reform and the need for responsive legal mechanisms that balance freedom of expression with the protection of individual dignity in both physical and digital spaces.

Abstract

Educational finance management plays a strategic role in enhancing the performance quality of educational personnel. As an integral part of the education system, educational personnel require adequate financial support to improve their competencies, welfare, and work productivity. This study aims to examine the concept of financial management in the context of improving the quality of educational personnel. The research method employed is a literature review supported by field-based research, analyzing various academic sources related to educational finance management, budget management strategies, and their impact on the performance of educational personnel at UPTD SD Negeri Lombang Dajah 2. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of financing is highly dependent on performance-based planning, the optimization of resources, and transparent and accountable evaluation. Furthermore, the main challenges in financial management include limited budgets, inefficient fund distribution, and the lack of needs-based evaluation for educational personnel. Therefore, a more structured and competency-oriented financial policy is necessary. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in designing sustainable and effective financing strategies to support the development of educational personnel within the education system.

Abstract

The digital transformation that has hit various aspects of life has also influenced religious education patterns, especially in efforts to maintain spiritual values ​​amidst the rapid flow of information. One of the relevant figures in this context is Ustadz Hanan Attaki who was able to utilize digital platforms effectively to foster the spirituality of the younger generation. This research aims to analyze the digital da'wah strategy carried out by Ustadz Hanan Attaki and its impact in strengthening religious and spiritual values ​​among generation z. The method used is literature study, by reviewing various previous literature and previous research related to digital da'wah and religious education. The results of the study show that Ustadz Hanan Attaki has succeeded in utilizing social media such as Instagram, YouTube and TikTok to convey religious messages with a creative, relevant and communicative approach. The relaxed but meaningful style of preaching, the use of language familiar to young people, and the integration of contemporary issues such as mental health, have proven effective in increasing religious awareness, strengthening spiritual values, and encouraging active involvement in religious activities

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Puzdaya (Cultural Puzzle) media to introduce Madurese cultural literacy to children aged 5-6 years at PGRI II Jrengik Kindergarten. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that Puzdaya was able to increase children's interest and involvement in learning local culture through interactive activities. The media effectively supports the development of language, motor, social emotional, and cognitive skills. It is concluded that Puzdaya is a meaningful media and in accordance with children's development to strengthen cultural literacy and local identity in early childhood education. as expressed by Ahmad Susanto that the right choice of media in learning is important for the success of a learning process, if teachers are able to do that, students will be motivated and committed to being actively involved in class and therefore puzdaya media (cultural puzzle) is one of the educational media designed to help children recognize elements of local culture through the activity of arranging pictures so that puzdaya not only introduces cultural identity but also strengthens children's attachment to their socio-cultural environment

Abstract

The increasing demand for organic rice is driven by public awareness of health and environmental sustainability, making this sector have high economic value. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving observation and interviews with KNOC managers and partners. The results of the study indicate that the concept of organic rice not only provides better economic benefits than conventional farming, but is also in line with the principles of Islamic economics, such as justice, blessings, and public welfare. The application of Islamic economic principles in organic rice businesses is realized through a fair partnership system, transparency, farmer empowerment, and sharia-compliant profit sharing. Thus, the development of organic rice in Ngawi has the potential to improve community welfare in a sustainable manner and become an environmentally friendly sharia-based economic model. Abstract

This study analyses how Atlantis Sport Palace BSD managed its reputation under pressure following an internal crisis, particularly after its acquisition in August 2024. This reputation crisis was triggered by the dilapidated physical condition of its building and facilities, inadequate equipment, and human resource competency issues, which subsequently led to financial challenges and diminished external appeal. Utilizing the theoretical frameworks of Crisis Communication and Marketing Communication, this case study explores the communication strategies implemented by the new management to address both internal and external challenges. Data was collected through an analysis of financial reports (revenue, expenditures, member additions from January 2024 to March 2025), alongside potential content analysis of social media and internal policy documents. The findings are expected to reveal how physical improvements, digitalization, and social media campaigns were communicated to revitalize the image, re-attract members, and build trust amid reputation pressures. The implications of this research will provide insights into reputation and crisis management in the digital era for service businesses facing similar challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the religious meaning and the values of Islamic education within the tradition of Yasinan Lanang and Manakib Toriqoh Attijani, as well as to analyze how this activity strengthens the social and spiritual bonds among male participants in Mertapada Kulon Village, Buntet Pesantren. This study employs a qualitative-phenomenological approach. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis to explore the subjective experiences of the participants. The core findings indicate that this tradition serves not only as a routine ritual but also as an authentic space for spiritual and social education. It functions to foster inner peace, strengthen religious awareness, reinforce community solidarity through shared responsibilities, and act as a subtle form of social control based on Islamic moral values. The conclusion is that the Yasinan Lanang and Manakib tradition is a tangible manifestation of community-based non-formal religious education that effectively preserves and transmits Islamic values, while also highlighting the significant spiritual role of men within the community

Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia, particularly the dimsum sector, is undergoing rapid development in response to increasing consumer demand for practical and flavorful ready-to-eat meals. This study aims to analyze and optimize the production strategy of Dimsum Kota Medan by applying linear programming using the primal simplex method. The research adopts a case study approach, with data collected through direct interviews and observations to identify production goals, decision variables, and existing operational constraints such as labor, raw materials, and time availability. The simplex method is then applied to determine the optimal production combination that yields the highest profit. The findings show that to achieve a maximum daily profit (Zmax) of IDR 19,800,000, the enterprise should produce 60 portions of original dimsum (X1) and 60 portions of hakau dimsum (X2). Although the model operates under the assumption of linearity and does not capture all external market dynamics, it offers practical guidance for decision-making in resource allocation. This study demonstrates the relevance of mathematical optimization techniques in enhancing profitability for small and medium-sized culinary enterprises in a competitive market environment.

Abstract

Corruption within PT Pertamina (Persero) remains a critical issue that not only causes significant state financial losses but also undermines public trust. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of internal and external supervisory mechanisms in preventing corruption within the company, viewed from the perspective of State Administrative Law. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and a case study design, the research analyzes the roles and functions of various oversight institutions, including Pertamina’s internal audit division, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and other relevant legal authorities. The findings indicate that although supervision mechanisms are formally established, their implementation still faces several challenges. These include regulatory gaps, limited inter-agency coordination, and weaknesses in corporate governance. The ineffectiveness of oversight functions contributes to vulnerabilities in the company’s anti-corruption framework. Therefore, the study recommends the strengthening of regulatory frameworks, enhancement of transparency, and optimization of synergy between internal and external oversight bodies. These reforms are deemed essential to build a more accountable and corruption-resistant governance system in state-owned enterprises, particularly in strategic sectors such as energy. The research findings have practical implications for policymakers and supervisory institutions in improving public sector integrity through better administrative oversight.
