Abstract

This study examines how brand old association influences Gen Z’s perceived quality of the Nespresso brand. It aims to analyze the overall effect of brand old association, its six dimensions, and the moderating role of brand information presentation. Using a quantitative approach with a within-subject experimental design, data were collected from 111 Gen Z respondents under blind test and correct information conditions. The findings show that brand old association has a positive and significant effect on perceived quality. Reminiscence and timelessness are significant dimensions, and the interaction between the two conditions is also significant. These results suggest that old brand associations can be strategic assets when communicated meaningfully to Gen Z. Keywords: Brand old association, Gen Z, consumer perception, perceived quality, Nespresso, brand image, coffee branding, experimental study

Abstract

This study examines financial accountability in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah based on PSAK No. 45. It aims to analyze implementation practices and evaluate their impact on reporting quality. A qualitative method was applied through interviews, observation, and documentation at MIS Rohani Ikhwanul Muslimin. Findings reveal that financial management is relatively transparent but reporting remains limited to simple income–expense records and does not fully comply with PSAK No. 45 components. Constraints include limited human resources and accounting knowledge. The study implies that strengthening capacity and adopting standardized reporting can improve transparency, accountability, and stakeholder trust.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of Perceived Organizational Support (POS), Job Enjoyment, and Career Development on job hopping motives among young professional workers in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive and causal design. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 230 respondents selected using purposive sampling, with criteria including young workers aged 21–35 years and having a maximum tenure of two years. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that Perceived Organizational Support (POS), Job Enjoyment, and Career Development each have a negative and significant effect on job hopping motives. The findings further reveal that Job Enjoyment is the most dominant factor in reducing job hopping motives among young professionals. Therefore, organizations are encouraged not only to provide formal support and career opportunities but also to actively foster a positive and enjoyable work environment to minimize job hopping motives among young employees.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and institutional ownership on firm value with corporate performance as a mediating variable in companies listed on the IDX ESG Leaders index during the 2020-2024 period. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on 85 observations from 17 companies, this study tested seven hypotheses. The results show that ESG has no effect on either corporate performance or firm value. Conversely, institutional ownership positively affects both corporate performance and firm value. Corporate performance partially mediates the relationship between institutional ownership and firm value, but does not mediate the ESG-firm value relationship. These findings indicate that institutional ownership plays a strategic role as a value driver through dual pathways, while ESG effectiveness in creating value still requires strengthened signal credibility and market understanding.
