Abstract

The commercialization of influencer marketing may reduce audience trust in TikTok influencers. This study examines the effects of perceived brand control and perceived commercial orientation on trust in influencers through post credibility. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 TikTok users through purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression and the Sobel test. The results show that perceived brand control and commercial orientation negatively affect post credibility and trust, whereas post credibility positively affects trust. The findings imply that brands should provide influencers with creative autonomy and maintain authentic, credible, and transparent promotional communication to strengthen audience trust. Keywords: Perceived Brand Control; Perceived Commercial Orientation; Post Credibility; Trust in Influencers; Influencer Marketing; TikTok.

Abstract

This study analyses the effects of work-life balance and job stress on turnover intention among working students in Semarang City. A quantitative approach was used, with 105 respondents selected by purposive sampling and data collected through a five-point Likert questionnaire and analysed using PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, consistent with the hypothesis. Work-life balance also shows a positive and significant coefficient, which runs counter to the hypothesised negative direction, so that hypothesis is not supported. Together the two variables explain 67.9 per cent of the variance in turnover intention.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of the internal control system, accounting system, and human resource quality on the financial statement quality of the Brebes Regency Government, with good corporate governance (GCG) as mediator. Data from 200 civil servants across 50 regional agencies, selected by purposive sampling, were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that all three determinants positively affect GCG. The accounting system and GCG directly affect financial statement quality, while the effects of the internal control system and human resource quality are fully mediated by GCG. Strengthening governance is therefore the key lever for improving local government financial reporting quality. Keywords: Internal Control System; Accounting System; Human Resource Quality; Good Corporate Governance; Financial Statement Quality; Local Government; PLS-SEM

Abstract

This study examines how authoritarian, benevolent, and moral leadership affect employee creativity in the poultry industry, with Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) as a mediator and Psychological Capital (PsyCap) as a moderator. An explanatory cross-sectional survey of 138 employees of PT Patriot Intan Abadi was analyzed using PLS-SEM. None of the three leadership dimensions directly affected creativity; however, each had a significant indirect effect through LMX. The model explained 49.3% of the variance in creativity, and PsyCap strengthened the relationships between each leadership dimension and LMX. The findings identify LMX and PsyCap as key mechanisms supporting creativity in hierarchical work settings

Abstract

Digital connectivity creates workplace telepressure that may increase burnout and threaten employee retention. This study examines the effects of workplace telepressure and perceived organizational support on turnover intention through burnout. Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, data from 130 Indonesian professionals were collected through purposive sampling and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that workplace telepressure increases burnout, while organizational support reduces burnout and turnover intention. Burnout fully mediates the relationship between telepressure and turnover intention and partially mediates the effect of organizational support. These findings highlight the importance of organizational support and clear boundaries for after-hours digital communication.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of compensation and workload on nurses’ turnover intention, with job satisfaction as a mediator, at Surabaya Jemursari Islamic Hospital. A quantitative design was applied to questionnaire data from 210 nurses and analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Compensation had no significant direct effect on turnover intention, whereas workload had a positive and significant effect. Job satisfaction fully mediated the effect of compensation on turnover intention but did not mediate the effect of workload. Hospital management should prioritize equitable workload allocation while maintaining fair compensation to strengthen job satisfaction and nurse retention. Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between environmental cost, profitability, industry group, and environmental disclosure among industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2021-2025, while controlling for firm size, leverage, and firm age. Secondary data were collected from annual and sustainability reports and analyzed using Kendall’s Tau-b in IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The findings indicate that environmental cost is positively and significantly associated with environmental disclosure, whereas profitability, industry group, firm size, leverage, and firm age show no significant relationship. Environmental disclosure is therefore more closely linked to firms’ environmental spending. Keywords: Environmental Cost; Environmental  Disclosure; Industry Group;  Legitimacy Theory; Profitability

Abstract

The Ticket War phenomenon triggers high-pressure competition and Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) among Generation Z. This study measures the association between FOMO and impulsive buying in that setting. Data from 155 Indonesian Generation Z respondents recruited through social media were analysed using PLS-SEM. FOMO is positively and significantly associated with impulsive buying (β = 0.516; T = 8.214; p < 0.001), and the single-predictor model explains 26.6 per cent of the variance. Because the data are cross-sectional and self-reported, the result is read as an association, not a causal effect. Policymakers should regulate queue transparency to protect consumer well-being.
