Abstract

The advancement of human civilisation and the development of the global economy in various fields has now entered Indonesia with various new digital-based technologies and is currently known as the industrial era 4.0 which is based on cyber physical systems. Digitalisation in various fields is currently also intensively carried out in the tourism sector which is one of the country's foreign exchange boosters. Indonesia's tourism development is supported by adequate human resources and the diversity of natural resources which is an added value in order to sedate tourists to visit tourist destinations in Indonesia. The tourism village will later become an independent tourism village with sustainable tourism village certification. The assistance is carried out through the development of Human Resources in the management of tourist villages, product development or travel patterns, and digital development. In the management of digitalisation-based Independent Tourism Villages, the 7 destinations have used websites as a marketing communication medium. With the existence of digital technology-based marketing communication, many Tourism Villages are now increasingly recognised by the wider community across time and space. Marketing communication through websites is one of the right strategies for tourism businesses because it is a more efficient and effective media display and has a positive significance for the tourism sector.

Abstract

The Research and Community Service Information System of LPPM University Lancang Kuning is a web-based application designed to facilitate research and community service activities at the university. This study incorporated two methodologies: a descriptive approach with qualitative analysis for heuristic data collection, and the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, employing quantitative analysis. The research process included stages of problem analysis, literature review, data collection, data analysis, and formulating recommendations based on the findings and discussions. The heuristic evaluation, the first method applied, revealed that aspects H1, H3, and H4 scored 1 when rounded, indicating these were merely cosmetic issues not requiring immediate attention unless spare time was available. Conversely, aspects H2, H5, H6, H7, H8, H9, and H10 scored 2 when rounded, categorizing them as minor usability issues needing resolution, albeit with low priority, to prevent potential user difficulties. Recommendations for these seven heuristic aspects scoring 2 encompassed improvements in system information clarity, feedback processes, image utilization, color selection, grammar quality, and writing consistency. The second method, the SUS, indicated that most users demonstrated adequate skills in terms of learnability, efficiency, memorability, error management, and overall satisfaction with their system usage experience.

Abstract

This research aims to prepare natural coagulants from Angsana leaves (Pterocarpus indicus willd) for Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) treatment, especially reducing main variables such as TSS, COD, and pH. The amounts of 100 mesh Angsana powder (5, 10, 15, and 20 grams) were extracted using NaCl solvent with concentrations of 0.25 M and 0.5 M, respectively. The extract (200 mL) were added to 500 mL of POME and stirred (180 rpm) for 30 minutes. The concentrations of TSS, COD, and pH in POME were analyzed. Results showed that the coagulation-flocculation process using Angsana leaves powder was able to reduce COD by 55.79% at a coagulant dose of 5 g/L with 0.25 M NaCl solvent and TSS by 99.75% at a dose of 20 g/L with 0.25 M NaCl solvent. However, treatment using Angsana leaves extract was not able to reduce COD to the predetermined quality standard limits while the TSS value met the quality standard. Therefore, POME treatment still requires further processing.

Abstract

In computing discourse, a Chatbot is a computer programme that is specifically designed to simulate an interactive communication or conversation. The interactive communication is from the machine to the user (human) either through text media, sound media or visual media. Chatbots have been widely used for practical purposes such as online assistance, personalised services, or information acquisition, including in the world of global marketing. The purpose of this research is to describe how a chatbot platform provides its best function in supporting a marketing task of a corporation at a global level. The methods used in this research are: 1) System Analysis, which is the collection of information needed in building the system must be done in detail. Where this information will support all the components needed to obtain results that are in accordance with all the needs related to the design of the system to be input, 2) Preparation of flowcharts, namely the design by entering data on the status of conversations that are commonly carried out by the Help-Desk with customers. Where when the user enters a word or sentence in the column that is already available in the system, a word or sentence search process will be carried out based on the noun, this process is useful for matching whether the input given by the user is in the set of nouns that have been trained in dialogue flow. The result obtained is that the website becomes one of the company's main media in marketing its products because the website already includes all information related to the product and also related to the company. However, when using the website alone, there is no direct communication with potential buyers. Therefore, this research will develop a chatbot that can improve the performance of the Spicering ltd website.
