Abstract

Students' critical thinking ability plays an important role in the learning process, in order to improve students’ critical thinking, this study adopts a problem-based hybrid learning approach, in which learning combines two methods, online or offline, mplementing problem-based of learning study. The purpose of this degree is to understand the application of problem-based hybrid learning in improving students' critical thinking, and understand the extent to which students improve critical thinking in their physical studies. The real-world procedure used in this experiment uses the t-test statistic to analyze various tests of treatment effect, analyze reinforcement tests, and simultaneously test the magnitude of reinforcement increases. The results of this study show that: The application of problem-based blended learning in physics education is networked and face-to-face, starting from asking questions, collecting data, observing, discussing, and formulating conclusions from facts. Experimental grade growth test scores are in the high category, implying an increase in critical thinking in physics learning.

Abstract

Prediction method is an estimate of what will happen based on data patterns obtained from an event that has passed. One method that can be used to predict is an artificial neural network (ANN). This study aims to determine the results of monthly rainfall by looking at the results of the validation value of the Backpropagation Neural Network method. Data processing using octave software. The results obtained in the form of graph patterns of predictions and actual data. Validation based on Root Square Mean Error (RMSE) using the Backpropagation method for the Sakkoli, Paria/Majennang and Anabanua rain posts has a value of 0.150., 0.107 and 0.024

Abstract

Salah satu perkembangan teknologi elektronika ditandai dengan penggunaan mikrokontroller di berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam budidaya tanaman anggrek. Dalam perawatan tanaman anggrek, selain pemupukan, juga dibutuhkan penyiraman yang efektif untuk membantu proses pertumbuhannya, dimana hal ini merupakan suatu pekerjaan yang monoton dan dilakukan dengan cara manual pada jam-jam tertentu. Penelitian ini telah berhasil merancang sebuah sistem penyiraman tanaman anggrek berbasis Arduino Uno, yang dapat menjaga suhu dan kelembaban di sekitar tanaman anggrek tetap pada kondisi yang dibutuhkan untuk tumbuh kembangnya. Adapun alat akan melakukan penyiraman secara otomatis pada pukul 09:00 wita dan akan kembali melakukan penyiraman bila kelembaban udara yang dideteksi oleh sensor DHT22 kurang dari 70%. Selain itu, jika nilai suhu udara yang dideteksi sensor DHT22 lebih tinggi dari 30°C maka motor fan akan aktif untuk medinginkan suhu disekitar tanaman anggrek.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang disertai dengan sumber belajar lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Posttes-Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 4 Jember tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Dalam penelitian ini terpilih dua kelas yang dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah disertai belajar sumber lingkungan terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quantity and quality of equipment, furniture and laboratory space as well as administrative management, personnel and security of the MA physics laboratory in MAN 1 Rokan Hulu. The research was conducted using descriptive quantitative data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques in the descriptive method depend on the logical thinking and imagination of the researcher. The results showed that the physics laboratory room at MAN 1 Rokan Hulu did not meet the minimum standards for the area of ​​the lab with a minimum of 36 students, for the width of the lab, the area of ​​the storage room and the dark room had met the minimum standards. facilities and infrastructure with an average of 89.05% are categorized as very good, in terms of laboratory personnel management with a presentation of 72.65%. The qualifications of the laboratory staff expertise are categorized as good with an average of 66.66%. The Physics Laboratory of MAN 1 Rokan Hulu based on the category studied and in the school includes laboratories in the Good category.

Abstract

This researc is the devolopment of learning tools with the aim of producing quality learning tools. This learnng tools was development using the Borg and Gall develompment model which was modified by Sukmadinata and friends, consisting of 3 stages of development. The learning device is said to be valid and used with a slight revision based on the average validation result with a value of 3.0-3.5. Learning tools are said to be practical based on the average percentage of learning outcomes for 2 meetings, which is 93.75%, and teacher and student response questionnaires related to the use of online learning tools get a positive response. The effectiveness of learning tools is seen in increasing student learning outcomes consisting of the cognitive domain at the first meeting until the second meeting, the N-Gain iRAT 0.51 and 0.46 are obtained with the criteria of "moderate", in the tRAT the N-Gain is 0.53 and 0.5 with "medium" criteria. The attitude domain with an average percentage of 80.07%, and the skill domain percentage of 81.85%, and the results of observing student activities in 2 meetings of 80.10% with good criteria

Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics learning media on Vector Decomposition topic for high school students in grade X. The method used in this study is the 4D. The product obtained from this research and development is a learning media called VirtumFi: Vector. The data collection technique used observation and survey techniques, which the instruments were a media validity test questionnaire and a media practicality test. Then, the results of the questionnaire were analyzed to determine the criteria for the validity of the media and the percentage of the practicality of the media. After the practicality test and the validity test, the results of data analysis showed that the media had "valid" criteria with an average value of 3.46 and "practical" with an average percentage value of 79%. Based on the results of data analysis, the VirtumFi: Vector media developed in this study is valid and practical to be used. However, VirtumFi: Vektor is still considered less meaningful for physics learning in the Vector Decomposition sub topic. This is because of the shortcomings of the media. So that, students feel difficult to understand the concept of using VirtumFi media. Therefore, this article also aims to reveal the shortcomings of VirtumFi: Vektor. So that, it can be used by researchers and developers of physics learning media to develop further media

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to determine the surface tension of a liquid using the drop method followed by a comparison method. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The data obtained from the experiment is in the form of quantitative data. The experimental method uses a drip burette, beaker and digital balance as a tool to determine surface tension using the drop method followed by a comparison method. The drip method is followed by a comparison method reviewed by looking at the ratio of the number of drops of liquid to the rate of volume reduction at the specified burette. The liquid substances compared in this study are distilled water and glycerin. The two liquids are put into the drip burette and then the number of drops is counted at the same (set) volume reduction rate. The analysis used is to determine the density of the two substances (aquades and water) and then proceed with analysis to calculate the surface tension. From the results of the research that has been done, the results of the percent difference (% difference) for the surface tension of water and glycerin are 1% and 1.96% respectively, with absolute error values ∆aquades = 1.83 dyne/cm and ∆glycerin = 1.68 dyne/cm with a relative error of 2% each

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the quality of the implementation of learning in the classroom. CAR has an important and strategic role in efforts to improve the quality of learning. Therefore, it is very important for teachers to carry out CAR and make scientific research reports on CAR. However, the reality on the ground is that there are still many physics teachers at SMA Aceh Tamiang who have difficulty compiling Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties faced by teachers in implementing and compiling Classroom Action Research (CAR) reports. The results obtained that teachers' perceptions of CAR increased after participating in CAR training. Aspects of knowledge and skills are classified as good and the teacher's attitude towards CAR is classified as very good. The results of the difficulty analysis showed that respondents (physics teachers) found it very difficult to report the results of CAR, and overall it can be concluded that respondents still find it difficult to implement and prepare CAR.
