Abstract

The enactment of Work from Home (WFH) during the Covid-19 pandemic has affected educational activities. Conventional offline learning must be held online so that effective online learning media is needed. The screencast is an online learning media that believed can provide easy access to students in conducting an online lecture. The screencast is a digital video recording on the computer screen and usually includes audio narration. This study aimed to analyze students' perception on screencast use in 1st Basic Physics lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research involved 76 physics education students in one of the higher education institutions in Tasikmalaya. They consist of 9 males and 67 females in the age range (18-21 years). This research is a descriptive study, with data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire. Analysis of students' perceptions of screencast aspects (content, construct, language, and graphic) are good, with a value of 79. Then, analysis of screencast implications on changes in students' knowledge and skills are a good category with a value of 78. The analysis of students' perceptions found a positive response using screencast in 1st Basic Physics lecture. The screencast can be effective online learning media to enhance student's knowledge and skills

Abstract

This study aims to, 1) analyze the understanding of the concepts of students who are taught by the cooperative script learning model using the gasing method with the help of the media couple card class XI MIA SMAN 2 Bantaeng, 2) analyze the understanding of the physics concepts of students who are taught using conventional learning models for class XI MIA. SMAN 2 Bantaeng, and 3) analyze the differences in conceptual understanding between students taught the cooperative script learning model using the gasing method assisted by the couple card media and the conventional learning model in class XI MIA SMAN 2 Bantaeng. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The research design is The Matching Only Post-Test Control Group Design. The research population was all students of class XI MIA SMAN 2 Bantaeng. The research sample is class XI MIA 1 and class XI MIA 3. The sampling technique used is two-step matching sampling. The research instrument is a conceptual understanding test. The results showed that 1) the understanding of the concepts of students who were taught with the cooperative script learning model using the gasing method assisted by the couple card media in the experimental class was categorized as very good with an average value of 89.38; 2) understanding of the concepts of students who are taught using conventional learning models in the control class is categorized as good with an average value of 79.61; 3) there is a significant difference in conceptual understanding between students who are taught with the cooperative script learning model using the gasing method assisted by the couple card media and the conventional learning model. The research implies that the cooperative script model using the gasing method with the help of the couple card media influences students' understanding of concepts better than conventional learning models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains pada materi suhu dan kalor di SMA selama pembelajaran online yang dimana penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. dalam penelitian ini sampel yang dipakai ialah siswa salah satu SMA di Kabuten Karo kelas XII yang berjumlah 30 orang instrumen penelitian 10 butir soal uraian ketrampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif lalu Didapatkan dari hasil analisis data yang sudah diolah bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XII dalam menyelesaikan soal keterampilan proses sains pada tiap aspek mulai dari aspek mengajukan pertanyaan skor rata rata yang diperoleh sebesar 2,98 dan persentase skor rata rata sebesar 74,5%, aspek berhipotesis skor rata rata yang diperoleh 2,83 dan persentase skor rata rata sebesar 70,8%, aspek merencanakan percobaan skor rata rata yang diperoleh 3,695 dan persentase skor rata rata sebesar 84,3%, aspek interpretasi rata rata yang diperoleh sebesar 2,63 dan persentase skor rata rata sebesar 65,75%, dan aspek komunikasi skor rata rata yang diperoleh 5,76 dan persentase skor rata rata sebesar 57,6%. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa aspek keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA tersebut masih dalam kategori baik dengan rata rata skor keseluruhan diperoleh sebesar 3,58 dan persentase skor rata rata keseluruhan sebesar 70,59%. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan karena selama pembelajaran daring siswa SMA di sekolah tersebut dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran fisika dengan baik sehingga setelah dilakukan analisis keterampilan proses sains maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa keterampilan proses sains salah satu SMA di kabupaten Karo berada dalam kategori baik. Kemudian manfaat ataupun dampak dari hasil penelitian ini adalah selama pembelajaran online guru dapat menambah pengetahuan dan pemahamannya bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa selama pembelajaran online berada dalam kategori baik, serta dapat mengenal bagaimana karakteristik siswa dalam belajar fisika selama pembelajaran online. Dan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan kajian bagi peneliti selanjutnya dalam menganalisis keterampilan proses sains fisika siswa SMA selama pembelajaran online This study aims to analyze science process skills on temperature and heat material in high school during online learning, which is included in quantitative descriptive research. In this study, the sample used was 30 students from one of the high schools in Karo regency, class XII. The type of research carried out is descriptive quantitative research, and the research instruments 11 items about the description of science process skills. It was obtained from the result of data analysis that had been processed that the science process skills of class XII students in solving science process skills question in each aspect starting from the aspect of asking the question the average score obtained was 2.98. The average score percentage was 74.5%, aspect hypothesis that the average score obtained is 2.83, and the average score percentage is 70.8%, the aspect of planning the experiment the average score is 3.7 and the percentage of the average score is 84.3%, the average interpretation aspect is 2.63, and the average score percentage is 67.75%. The communication aspect average score is 5.76, and the average score percentage is 57.6%. So that it can be concluded that the science process skills aspect of the high school students is still in the good category with an average overall score of 3.58 and the percentage of the overall average score of 70.59%, this may be because during online learning high school students at the school can follow the physics learning process well, so after analyzing the science process skills, it can be concluded that the science process skills of one of the high schools in Karo district are in the good category. Then the implications of the results of this study include During online learning, the teacher can increase their knowledge and understanding that students’ science process skills during online learning are in a good category And can recognize the characteristics of the students in learning physics during online learning. This research is expected to be a study material for further researchers in analyzing the physics process skills of high school students during online learning.

Abstract

Blended Learning sebagai model pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan yang mengkombinasikan pembelajaran campuran yaitu offline dengan online. Adanya penelitian ini yang tujuannya mendeskripsikan persepsi peserta didik pada model Blended Learning mata pelajaran Fisika khususnya pada masa pandemi Covid-19, sehingga menjadi bahan evaluasi dalam implementasi Blended Learning di sekolah. Jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif. Tempat pelaksanaannya di salah satu SMA Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 peserta didik dipilih dari 95 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1-3, melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket persepsi dan lembar observasi. Angket persepsi yang dirancang sebanyak 30 butir dengan tingkat reliabilitas angket sebesar (0,736) dengan kategori baik. Teknik analisis penelitian ini memakai metode analisis deskriptif serta pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian menghasilkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik sangat beragam dan mendapatkan suport yang positif dari semua aspek/pihak tentang persepsi peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran Blended Learning pada mata pelajaran Fisika.   Blended learning as a learning model in educational institutions that composite blended learning, online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods. This study aims to describe student perceptions of the blended learning model in physical subjects, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, to become an evaluation material in implementing Blended Learning in schools. This type of research is descriptive. The place of implementation is in one of the Bengkulu City High Schools. The research sample amounted to 20 students selected from 95 class XI MIPA 1-3 through a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument is in the form of a perception and observation sheet. In the form of perception questions, designed as many as 30 items with a questionnaire reliability level of (0.736) with a good category. In the analysis methodology of this study, the descriptive analysis method and quantitative approaches are used. The study found if students will receive positive support in all aspects of how students perceive Blended Learning in physics.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring tak bisa dihindari dalam masa pandemi. Mahasiswa dituntut mampu meregulasi dirinya sendiri sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penyesuaian terhadap buku ajar pembelajaran daring. Salah satu caranya yaitu mengembangkan dengan basis self- regulated learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan buku ajar berbasis self-regulated learning untuk pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian ini yaitu research and development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE. Tahapan penelitian model pengembangan ADDIE antara lain analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu lembar wawancara, lembar telaah, lembar validasi dan angket keterbacaan buku ajar. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif dilakukan terhadap hasil wawancara dan telaah para ahli. Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dilakukan terhadap hasil validasi para ahli dan angket keterbacaan buku ajar. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa persentase kelayakan dari segi materi sebesar 82,5%, dari segi media sebesar 90,83%, dan dari segi bahasa sebesar 90%. Hasil angket keterbacaan buku ajar menyatakan bahwa buku ajar mudah dipahami namun perlu ditambahkan contoh soal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan valid atau layak digunakan. Self-regulated learning dapat dijadikan basis dalam mengembangkan buku ajar yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran daring.  Online learning is unavoidable during a pandemic. Students are required to be able to regulate themselves so that learning objectives can be achieved. Therefore, need adjustments for online learning textbooks. One way is to develop use self-regulated learning as a basis. The purpose of this research is to develop a self-regulated learning-based textbook for online learning. This research method is research and development (RnD) with the ADDIE model. The stages of ADDIE development model research include analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The research instruments are interview sheet, review sheet, validation sheet, and questionnaire readability of the textbook. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative, and quantitative techniques. Qualitative descriptive analysis was carried out on the results of interviews and expert reviews. Quantitative descriptive analysis was carried out on the results of expert validation and textbook readability questionnaires. Based on the analysis conducted, it was found that the percentage of feasibility in terms of material was 82.5%, in terms of media was 90.83%, and in terms of language was 90%. The results of the textbook readability state that the textbook was easy to understand but needed to add question examples. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the developed textbook is valid or feasible to use. Self-regulated learning can be used as a basis for developing textbooks used for online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inquiry in physics learning which can be viewed in terms of education, results, materials, and research on the learning media used. The method used is Meta-Analysis with the research flow, namely determining the research topic, setting data criteria, searching for data, classifying data, analyzing and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques using secondary data from 23 relevant articles from previous scientific publications. The data analysis technique uses effect size. The results of this meta-analysis conclude that the application of the inquiry learning model has a significant effect on physics learning, with an effect size value of 1.216. The application of inquiry in physics learning has a considerable impact if applied to the elementary school education level by producing outputs that increase understanding of concepts, use light subjects, and help learning media in worksheets.

Abstract

Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a teacher framework in integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning. The purpose of the initial learning planning by implementing the guided inquiry-based TPACK strategy is to increase the mastery of concepts and student learning activities. This research uses the literature review method with qualitative predictive analysis. Object research is an information system with the reason that there is a change in the application of information systems that were once still conventional, now began to be computerized and the development of information systems can be on various platforms, Among others, the web, desktop, mobile, and the last reason being that the development of information system systems has a variety of methods. Initial planning of learning using TPACK-based guided inquiry effectively improves students' mastery of concepts. The subjects were transversal and longitudinal waves with Modellus software. In general, this initial design is that learning with guided inquiry-based TPACK strategies increases mastery of concepts and student learning activities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ajar listrik magnet Seri 2 bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting-Organizing-Reflecting-Expanding). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Penelitian ini menggunakan mahasiswa calon guru fisika berjumlah 14 orang yang sedang mempelajari topik listrik pada mata kuliah listrik magnet di tahun akademik 2020/2021 sebagai subjek ujicoba. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket respon mahasiswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas mahasiswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas dosen. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh buku ajar praktis digunakan karena skor rata-rata indikator kemudahan penggunaan, efisiensi waktu pembelajaran, manfaat buku ajar, dan ketertarikan terhadap buku ajar sebesar 4,00; skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas dosen di kelas sebesar 4,52; dan skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas mahasiswa di kelas sebesar 3,91. Oleh karena itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan pada perkuliahan listrik magnet. Selain itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan hendaknya diuji pada sampel yang lebih besar. This research aimed to describe Electricity and Magnetism Series 2 textbook practicality that contained Al-Qur’an verses that used CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, dan Extending) learning model. The research was research and development that used a 4D model. The study used 14 prospective teachers who learned electricity topics in the Electricity and Magnetism course of the 2020/2021 academic year as subjects. The data were collected through the students’ responses questionnaire, observation sheet of student activities implementation, and lecturer activities implementation. The analysis data were conducted quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the result of the research, the textbook practicality was practical because the average score of easy to use, learning time efficiency, benefit, and interest were 4.00, the lecturer activities implementation average score was 4.52, and the student activities implementation average score was 3.91. Therefore, this textbook could be used in Electricity and Magnetism course. Furthermore, this textbook should be tested on a larger sample.

Abstract

Vektor merupakan salah satu topik penting dalam fisika karena seringnya dijumpai pada topik-topik fisika lainnya. Akan tetapi, sejumlah penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep vektor siswa masih rendah. Beberapa upaya yang telah dilakukan diantaranya penggunaan multirepresentasi verbal dan matematis, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan penggunaan media serta sumber belajar daring. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan resitasi pada materi vektor dengan mengangkat sejumlah solusi terdahulu yang dapat digunakan di masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan atau library research dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil studi kepustakaan, diperoleh suatu metode yang dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa, yaitu resitasi berbasis program. Metode tersebut merupakan suatu penugasan kepada siswa yang dirancang dengan umpan balik pada setiap jawaban siswa. Pengalaman penggunaan resitasi terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa secara signifikan. Rata-rata peningkatan dari pre-test ke post-test pada penelitian-penelitian terdahulu sebesar 14,5. Resitasi juga dapat menjadi pengganti guru di luar jam pembelajaran, sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pengganti tatap muka pada masa pandemi. Vector is one of the prominent topics in physics because it is often found in other physics topics. However, many previous studies show that students' understanding of vector concepts is still low. Some of the efforts that have been made include verbal and mathematical multi-representations, problem-based learning, and the use of media and online learning resources. This article describes the development of recitation in vector material by highlighting several previous solutions that may be used during a pandemic. The type of this research is library research or library research with descriptive analysis methods. Based on the literature study results, a method that can improve students' conceptual mastery was discovered, namely recitation-based-program. The method is an assignment to students with feedback on each student's answer. The experience of using recitation has been proven to improve students' understanding of physics concepts significantly. The average increase from pre-test to post-test in previous studies was 14.5. Recitation can also be a substitute for teachers out of class learning so that it can be used as an alternative to face-to-face during a pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan laboratorium virtual secara daring pada praktikum Fluida Statis terhadap peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) pada siswa kelas XI IPA 2 Pringsewu dengan desain penelitian Pre-eksperimental Design jenis One Sample Pretest-posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu: instrumen pretest-posttest materi fluida statis dalam bentuk pilihan jamak sebanyak 20 butir soal. KPS siswa yang diamati antara lain: melakukan pengamatan, menafsirkan pengamatan (interpretasi), mengelompokkan/klasifikasi, berkomunikasi, berhipotesis, dan merencanakan percobaan. Hasil uji data penelitian diketahui bahwa persentase pencapaian rata-rata KPS siswa pada pretsest sebesar 42,52% dengan kategori cukup, sedangkan persentase rata-rata pencapaian pada posttest sebesar 73,48% dengan kategori baik Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,00 < 0,050, menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara persentase rata-rata KPS pretest dan posttest, dimana setelah menggunakan laboratorium virtual secara daring pada praktikum fluida statis rata-rata pencapaian KPS siswa pada posttest lebih besar. Dari hipotesis tersebut diharapkan penggunaan laboratorium virtual ini sangat membantu pada pembelajaran daring di kondisi pandemi covid-19 This study describes the effect of using an online virtual laboratory in the Static Fluids practicum on improving Science Process Skills (SPS) in class XI IPA 2 Pringsewu with a Pre-experimental Design type of One-Sample Pretest-posttest Design. The data collection techniques used in this study were: pretest-posttest instruments for static fluid material in the form of multiple-choice as many as 20 items. The SPS students observed included: making observations, interpreting observations (interpretation), classifying/classifying, communicating, hypothesizing, and planning experiments. The results of the research data test show that the average percentage of students' SPS achievement at the pretest is 42.52%, with sufficient category. The average percentage of achievement in the post-test is 73.48%, with a good category. Hypothesis test results using paired sample t-analysis test obtained sig value. of 0.00 < 0.050, they were indicating a significant difference between the average percentage of pretest and post-test SPS. After using an online virtual laboratory in the static fluid practicum, the average student's SPS achievement in the post-test is greater.
