Abstract

Education Management Information System is a combination of human resources and information technology applications to select, store, process, and retrieve in order to support the decision-making process in the field of education. Researchers realize the importance of adopting information systems practices combined with technological advances. The purpose of this study is to find out how information systems are meant as support for education management decision making. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study show that the information system supporting education management decision making greatly utilizes all the potential of facilities / facilities and infrastructure as a stepping stone in the application of education management information systems. Stages in Management Information Systems 1). Management Information System Data Collection Process, 2). Management of Management Information Systems, 3) Deployment of Management Information Systems. Specifically, the development of an education driver's license can provide improvements in educational services, namely, policy-making considerations on the customer satisfaction process in a determination of meeting educational quality standards that include basic services and auxiliary services.

Abstract

Based on ethics research, the interaction between teachers and students is very necessary because it greatly influences their behavior. In order to become teachers who are expected to fulfill the tasks assigned to us, we must surrender to God Almighty. In addition, the relationship between teacher and student is also one of the factors that influence the success of teaching Islam. Ethics is also a dimension that deserves attention because ethics is the core of educational goals. Ethics are rules, norms, rules or procedures that are often used as guidelines or principles for someone to carry out actions and behaviors that are very important for the lives around us, because they apply to our daily behavior. Ethics guides a person or group in behaving and acting. As educators, teachers must be able to set an example in ethics and communication. To be successful in learning, teachers must provide students with approaches appropriate to their situations, where diversity is important.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this article is the need to analyze the strategies for developing teacher professionalism in the context of school-based management at the elementary level in the digital era. The aim of this article is to analyze the strategies, benefits, challenges, and impacts of using technology on the development of teacher professionalism within the context of school-based management at the elementary level in the digital era. This article employs a qualitative research method, utilizing interviews with five teachers and analyzing recent literature. The research procedure involved structured interviews with teachers involved in professionalism development, as well as data collection and analysis using thematic coding. The findings and discussions indicate that strategies for developing teacher professionalism through technology utilization in the context of school-based management at the elementary level in the digital era have been identified. The challenges include limited access, inadequate training, and privacy concerns. However, the benefits include access to extensive educational resources, global collaboration, and increased student engagement. The use of technology also has a positive impact on improving the quality of teaching and the efficiency of school-based management. As a recommendation, support and collaboration among schools, government, and stakeholders are necessary to ensure effective and equitable utilization of technology in the context of elementary education.

Abstract

Kegiatan evaluasi kurikulum sebagai bagian penting dalam manajemen kurikulum wajib di laksanakan oleh setiap satuan Pendidikan. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman sekolah mengenai konsep dan implementasi evaluasi kurikulum memiliki pengaruh dalam menjamin keberhasilan evaluasi kurikulum. Tujuan dari penelitian ialah untuk mendeskripsikan proses evaluasi kurikulum pada jenjang pendidikan dasar di Kota Semarang, ditinjau dari beberapa aspek, yaitu pemahaman sekolah terhadap konsep dan urgensi evaluasi kurikulum, model evaluasi, dimensi evaluasi kurikulum, kebutuhan sekolah untuk kegiatan evaluasi kurikulum. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri X di Kota Semarang. Informan penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum dan guru. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum sekolah telah memahami konsep dan urgensi evaluasi kurikulum di sekolah

Abstract

Pengetahuan adalah kebutuhan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, manusia membutuhkan pengetahuan untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang dihadapi. Islam sebagai agama yang sempurna, didasarkan pada Al-Quran dan Hadits, sangat menekankan pentingnya menuntut ilmu. Bahkan, ayat pertama yang diturunkan adalah tentang pendidikan. Kepentingan pengetahuan bagi manusia sangat besar, karena orang yang memiliki pengetahuan memiliki status yang berbeda dengan orang yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan. Pengetahuan merupakan kunci untuk mencapai kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat. Jika manusia ingin mendapatkan keridhaan Allah, maka manusia harus beribadah sesuai dengan perintah-Nya dan menjauhi larangan-Nya dengan menggunakan pengetahuan. Islam mendorong manusia untuk terus menuntut ilmu sepanjang hidup, bukan hanya selama di bangku sekolah tapi islam mengajarkan menuntut ilmu sepanjang hayat.

Abstract

The application of the learning curriculum also affects the perspectives obtained by students, both their understanding of education and the involvement of guidance and counseling in the school itself. As an inseparable part of the learning process in schools, guidance and counseling services are expected to be able to help achieve the goals of the independent curriculum. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the guidance and counseling program in the field of tutoring in the independent curriculum. This research method is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The implementation of the counseling guidance program at SDN 03 Pakan Labuh is based on what the teacher does, namely that the teacher has carried out the function of a class teacher who is also a student counseling teacher. One of the services that teachers have provided related to the field of tutoring is to provide learning guidance services and also consulting services. However, several counseling guidance services have not been carried out related to the field of tutoring. So in this case the counseling teacher needs to pay more attention to the role they have so that the role of counseling as a profession can help the successful implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the problems found by elementary school teachers during the implementation of guidance and counseling services in elementary schools. This study aims to look at guidance and counseling services in elementary schools and describe the problems experienced by teachers in their implementation and the solutions that can be given to solve these problems. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The researcher determined SDN 13 Parit Putus as the research location and the teacher as the research subject. Researchers collected research data through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of teachers at SDN 13 Parit Putus. The results of the study show that the problems of guidance and counseling services in elementary schools are the absence of guidance and counseling teachers, the absence of training on guidance and counseling services, teachers do not have an understanding of designing administration, and inadequate guidance and counseling service facilities at SDN 13 Parit Putus. The solutions provided by researchers are to procure counseling teachers in elementary schools, provide training through gifted counselors, complete the administration of counseling services, and facilitate the needs of guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan kerjasama siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SD Muhammadiyah 019 Bangkinang Kota, Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota, Kabupaten Kampar. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menggunakan model decision making. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerjasama siswa pada pembelajaran IPS letak geografis Indonesia menggunakan model decision making. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dan empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Mei 2023. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 28, yang terdiri dari 28 siswa laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan observasi. Hal ini sebelum dilakukan tindakan kemampuan kerjasama siswa adalah 39, 28%. setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 60,71%. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 82,14%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan dengan menggunakan model decision making dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kerjasama siswa pada pembelajaran IPS materi letak geografis Indonesia SD Muhammadiyah 019 Bangkinang Kota.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaterbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V SDN 004 Pulau Terap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V UPT SD Negeri 004 Pulau Terap yang berjumlah 15 peserta didik. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahap pembelajaran yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, observasi dan tes. Sedangkan tekhnik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuntitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V UPT SD Negeri 004 Pulau Terap pada pratindakan dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 33,33%. Pada siklus 1 pertemuan I dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 40% dan pada siklus 1 Pertemuan II mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 60%. Pada siklus 2 pertemuan I mengalami peningkatan juga dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 66,67%, dan pada siklus 2 pertemuan II mengalami peningkatan lagi dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 86,67%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan strategi small group discussion berbantuan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V SDN 004 Pulau Terap.

Abstract

Freedom of learning issued by the government has not fully paid attention to the 3T (Foremost, Outermost and Disadvantaged) regions. The 3T area needs professional teachers who have the ability and understand the main tasks and functions as teachers and can make innovations so that the learning process at school is fun for students. Clinical supervision needs to be carried out by school principals in order to help teachers overcome problems faced by teachers in learning, especially in the 3T areas. In this study, a qualitative approach research method was used with data collection techniques in the form of case studies from research journals, books and related articles. The results of the analysis show that the successful implementation of clinical supervision is characterized by an increase in the teacher's ability to plan, implement, and evaluate the learning process, the quality of learning carried out by the teacher becomes better. The main problem of the clinical supervision process in the 3T area is difficult access resulting in the supervision process not going well. In addition, there are other factors that influence teacher competency improvement, namely individual factors and organizational environmental factors.
