Abstract

Natural disasters, especially landslides, often occur in Bogor City because naturally the contours of the area are at risk of landslides. Dharma Wanita as a social organization can be a driving force for aid when a disaster occurs. However, there has never been any training on disaster response knowledge and skills, especially Psychology First Aid (PFA). PFA training aims to provide capacity knowledge and skills to members of Dharma Wanita to help disaster survivors. The training was delivered through online for 1.5 hours for material on understanding PFA, the purpose and importance of PFA, implementing PFA, stages and methods of PFA, the second 2 hours of practice on the stages and methods of PFA, and evaluating for 30 minutes with question-and-answer quizzes. After that, an offline follow-up was carried out to visit the affected areas. The result, based on the training evaluation, the selected participants were able to explain the questions correctly. Participants were also enthusiastic about following up the training by visiting survivors in disaster-affected areas. However, this training did not measure the participants' PFA skills because this training was carried out after the disaster occurred, so this training did not prepare for landslides at that time.

The potential of elementary-level student needs to be developed during the period of character development; thinking and skills need to be fostered and directed. Each student is equipped with abilities and skills that match their interests and talents, so teachers and parents must be able to identify this potential through extracurricular programs. Not all extracurricular activities can improve their soft skills and self-confidence. The activity plan was divided into four meetings with the categorization of participants, namely I to V, assisted by activity managers, namely teachers and students. The results of the activity implementation obtained that students of categories I and II at the first meeting still did not dare to come to the front of the class and speak. However, at the fourth meeting, they showed the courage to come to the front of the class, introduce themselves and speak for 3-5 minutes. Whereas in categories III, IV, and V, there are changes in skills in writing the material to be delivered, dressing techniques, walking techniques, moving one's body parts, managing nervousness, greeting the audience, and the ability to open and close conversations. Abstract

The need for water for irrigating rice fields in Mlarasa Sumobito Jombang village is needed throughout the year to prevent drought or crop failure. The problem faced by partners is the increasingly high price of fuel to turn on the diesel pumps used to irrigate water from rivers or water sources (wells) to the rice fields. Solar energy is a renewable energy source that can be utilized, created, and widely available in Indonesia. Solar panels are used to convert solar energy into electrical energy. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training socialization on the use of solar panels as a source of electrical energy used to turn on water pumps equipped with an IoT monitoring system to facilitate supervision so that they can save other energy sources. The designed solar panel pump can irrigate rice fields continuously for 8 hours per day with a pump output discharge of ± 400 liters per minute with a pump power of 850 watts with a duration of battery capacity of 76 hours. The socialization of the training was divided into 3 sessions, namely the opening, the core contained knowledge about irrigation systems, solar panels, making solar water pumps, maintenance (maintenance), and finally the process of testing solar water pumps in farmers' fields. The solar water pump that has been made is able to answer all the needs of Mlaras village farmers in reducing the use of diesel pumps with fuel.

Abstract

The development of professional teachers, especially in the field of publications, requires a place that can accommodate their work. The initiation of creating a journal as a medium for teachers to actualize in it is a step forward that can be an inspiration for schools to continue to develop professionally and can be a reference for other schools. MAN I Kota Kediri is one of the public madrasah schools that is committed to developing themselves to the maximum and dares to seize opportunities related to the need to manage a new journal as a forum for the actualization of teachers. However, their lack of ability in journal management and expertise in scientific writing makes it difficult for them to perform the progressive program they have planned. This community service is to increase the capacity of journal managers at MAN 1 Kediri City. The method used in this activity is an in-service training program with training as well as mentoring for teachers as journal managers at MAN 1 Kediri City. The results of this study indicate that teachers can perform the registration process and submit scientific papers to the OJS that has been provided.
