Abstract

Representasi IPA merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikembangan pada pembelajaran abad 21. Terutama pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia yang cenderung abstrak dalam pembahasannya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan nilai kemampuan representasi  63,61 yang artinya dalam kategori rendah. Penggunaan media audio visual berbasis powtoon diharapkan mampu memudahkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan representasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas media dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan model RnD. Tahapan mengembangkan media 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) tahapan pengembangan, dan 3) pengujian produk. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dan claster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes dan angket. Kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif dengan N-Gain, dan statistik inferensi uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan: keefektifan media dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi melalui uji n-gain klasikal yaitu kelas eksperimen 61,38% kelas kontrol 48,20%. Uji-t two tailed terdapat perbedaan antara kelas yang menggunakan media powtoon dengan kelas yang tidak (α=0,05) hasil uji-t one-tailed thitung -2,564 -1,697 terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen. AbstractThe representation of science is one of the abilities that must be developed in 21th century learning. Especially in the material of the human respiratory system which tends to be abstract in its discussion. Based on the results of observations found the value of the ability of representation 63.61 it means in the low category. The use of powtoon-based audio visual media is expected to simplify and improve the representation ability of students. This research aims to know the effectiveness of the media in improving the ability of representation. The method uses the RnD model. Stages of developing media 1) preliminary studies, 2) stages of development, and 3) product testing. Sampling using random sampling techniques and cluster random sampling. Data collected using tests and questionnaires. Analyzed descriptively qualitative, quantitative with N-Gain, and t-test inference statistics. Based on the results of the study found: the effectiveness of media can improve the ability representation through the classical n-gain test is the experimental class 61.38% 48.20% control class. Two tailed t-test there is a difference between the class using the media powtoon with a class that does not (α = 0.05) the results of the one-tailed t-test -2,564 -1,697, there is a significant increase in the experimental class.

Abstract

Pada era digital seperti saat ini, keterampilan berbicara pada anak usia dini sangat dipengaruhi oleh media audiovisual yang berkembang sangat pesat. Kosakata dan ujaran kalimat yang didapat oleh anak usia dini melalui media audiovisual tidak dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh channel Kisah Islami terhadap keterampilan berbicara dengan kalimat yang lengkap dan kosakata yang baik dan tepat pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi melalui pengamatan keterampilan berbicara dengan kalimat yang lengkap dan kosakata yang baik dan tepat dalam berkomunikasi. Teknik observasi  dilakukan  dengan mendata struktur kalimat yang diujarkan oleh anak usia dini. Selain  itu, dilakukan perbandingan keterampilan berbicara antara anak-anak yang menonton channel Kisah Islami dan  tidak menonton channel tersebut. Keterampilan berbicara menggunakan kalimat lengkap disesuaikan dengan keterampilan berbicara pada anak secara umum berdasarkan tahap  perkembangan bahasa anak. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian  ini adalah bahwa anak usia dini yang  lebih banyak  menonton channel Kisah Islami lebih terampil berbicara dengan kalimat yang lengkap dibanding anak-anak lainya yang tidak  menonton  channel  tersebut. Kalimat yang diujarkan oleh anak usia dini dapat dianalisis dan dikategorikan sesuai kelengkapan struktur kalimat, seperti subjek, predikat, objek, dan keterangan serta penggunaan kata yang tepat.

Abstract

AbstrakModel pembelajaran berbasis Blended Learning bukanlah model pembelajaran baru dalam dunia pendidikan melainkan model pembelajaran ini merupakan kombinasi atau perpaduan antara model pembelajaran tatap muka dan model pembelajaran offline/online. Masing-masing model pembelajaran ini memiliki kelebihan tersendiri sehingga gabungan dari kelebihan pembelajaran tatap muka dan kelebihan pembelajaran online menghasilkan model pembelajaran Blended Learning. Model pembelajaran ini berpeluang menjadi solusi untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa dengan saling menutupi kekurangan pada masing-masing pembelajaran baik itu tatap muka ataupun pembelajaran online. Sistem pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan pada Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Blended Learning ini adalah Learning Management System (LMS). LMS merupakan sebuah manajemen pembelajaran yang disiapkan untuk melakukan pembelajaran melalui perangkat lunak, salah satunya adalah Google Classroom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan pembelajaran berbasis Blended Learning dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa pada mata kuliah perpajakan. Jenis penelitian ini  R D (Research Development). Model pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan adalah pembelajaran berbasis Blended Learning menggabungkan pembelajaran tatap muka dengan online/offline learning yang disusun sedemikian rupa. Strategi penyampaian pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan tatap muka 50% dan online/offline learning 50%.AbstractBlended learning-based learning model is not a new learning model in the world of education, but this learning model is a combination or blend of face-to-face learning models and offline/online learning models. Each of these learning models has its own advantages so that the combination of the advantages of face-to-face learning and the advantages of online learning produces a Blended Learning learning model. This learning model has the opportunity to be a solution to facilitate students' understanding abilities by covering each other's shortcomings in each learning, be it face-to-face or online learning. The learning system that can be used in this Blended Learning-Based Learning Model is the Learning Management System (LMS). LMS is a learning management that is prepared to do learning through software, one of which is Google Classroom. This study aims to determine whether Blended Learning-based learning can facilitate students' understanding of taxation subjects. This type of research is R D (Research Development). The learning model that will be developed is Blended Learning-based learning that combines face-to-face learning with online/offline learning that is structured in such a way. This learning delivery strategy is carried out with 50% face-to-face and 50% online/offline learning.

Abstract

Learning writing in EFL context, students have limited opportunities to write in English both inside and outside of the class since they have less immediate English needs. In this situation, they require abundant exposure to written language over time. To help the students to write better, in this research, teacher accommodates Authentic Materials and Schoology in order to support the students in mastering writing skill. Reviewing many references, the writer found the effectiveness of authentic materials for teaching writing. Similarly, Tomlinson (2012) underlined the characteristics of ideal materials for English Language Teaching (ELT) that is having authentic input features. These authentic materials help the students to acquire the language effectively. In 4.0 era, Schoology is one of educational websites that can be applied by teacher and students for collaborating about resources, learning content-activities, and assessment on a secure and safe learning management platform. Students can post their writing task in Schoology in the form of online portfolios while the teacher can evaluate the students’ writing and give some suggestion or comments. Schoology also provides possibility for teacher to provide scoring rubrics to help students in generating texts. In general, this paper is a case study result paper discussing about (1) the idea of accommodating Authentic Materials and Schoology in order to support the students in mastering writing skill, and (2) challenges for the teacher to accommodate Schoology in writing class, and (3) challenges for the teacher to use Authentic Materials for teaching writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan-kesulitan dan strategi mengatasinya dalam extensive reading mahasiswa program studi pendidikan bahasa Inggris universitas Muhammadiyah ponororgo. Extensive reading merupakan pendekatan dalam pembelajaran ketrampilan membaca yang dibedakan dengan intensive reading. Dalam extensive reading mahasiswa diberi kebebasan dalam memilih materi bacaan sesuai dengan ketertarikan dan kemampuan baca mereka. Namun demikian dalam implementasinya tidak semua mahasiswa dapat melakukannya dengan lancar. Bagi mahasiswa dengan tipe “strong reader” biasanya berusaha keras untuk mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi. Hasil investigasi menunjukkan bahwa mereka menghadapi kesulitan yang berasal dari teks bacaan dan juga kesulitan di luar teks bacaan dan mereka mengatasinya dengan berbagai macam strategi

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian mempunyai fokus dalam melihat strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh TK Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal 15 Madiun. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan cara pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis melalui metode interaktif agar mendapatkan data baik dan sesuai dengan fokus permasalahan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwa peran kepala sekolah, guru, wali siswa, komite sekolah, dan yayasan Aisyiah sangat penting dalam menjaga eksistensi keberadaan TK Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal 15 Madiun, hal ini dikarenakan selain melalui media digital dan brosur, pemasaran lembaga pendidikan sangat bagus jika dapat dilakukan melalui orang perorang. Selain itu strategi yang dilakukan oleh TK Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal 15 Madiun dalam rangka menjaga eksistensinya adalah dengan: (1) Penguatan ciri khas sekolah, (2) Penyesuaian kurikulum pembelajaran, dan (3) Keberadaan fasilitas sarana dan prasaranaAbstractThe research has a focus on looking at the marketing strategy carried out by Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal 15 Madiun Kindergarten. Researchers used qualitative methods by means of data collection is observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that was collected in this study was then analyzed through interactive methods in order to get good data and in accordance with the focus of the problem. The results in this study note that the role of school principals, teachers, student guardians, school committees, and the Aisyiah foundation is very important in maintaining the existence of Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal 15 Madiun Kindergarten, this is because apart from digital media and brochures, marketing of educational institutions is very good if can be done individually. In addition, the strategies carried out by Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal 15 Madiun Kindergarten in order to maintain its existence are: (1) Strengthening school characteristics, (2) Adjusting the learning curriculum, and (3) Existence of facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Natural science is a subject that can be delivered through various strategies in understanding the concept, one of which is through ethno-STEM, with Sidoarjo local wisdom that is packed integrated with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This strategy is done to practice analytical thinking skills. The purpose of the study to describe the effectiveness of natural science learning based ethno-STEM to practicing the analytical thinking skills of secondary school students. The research method uses quantitative research type experiments with one group pretest and posttest design, class VIII student population of 120 students with a sample of grade VIII B a number of 30 students in MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Sidoarjo. Research procedures include pretest, treatment by implementing natural science learning based ethno-STEM, and posttest. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. The results showed that the implementation of naturak science learning based ethno-STEM is said to be effective, namely 1) the implementation of average learning 3.7 very well categorized, 2) student activities relevant to the average learning 3.6 categorized very well, 3) there is an increase in the value of analytical thinking skills of students by 0.6 moderate category, and 4) positive student response to learning by 90%. Further research is expected to be able to compare treatment between classes, as well as other variables that contribute to learning so that the analysis will be deeper.

Abstract

So far, the probing method used to solve linear programming problems has not become an alternative method. Students often find the corner point test method easier to solve linear programming problems. The purpose of this research is to produce student worksheets based on discovery learning of linear programming material for class XI SMA. This research is a research and development (research and development). The test subjects in this study were 18 students of SMAN 1 Babadan Ponorogo. The results of the feasibility assessment obtained valid and appropriate categories by material experts with an average total score of 3.35 and the value of media experts was 2.61. Thus, it can be concluded that student worksheets can be used as teaching materials and are able to improve students' abilities in solving problems related to linear programming material.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan guna menguji serta menganalisa Efek Fasilitas, Motivasi, Manajemen Waktu Belajar serta lingkungan keluarga kepada prestasi belajar murid SMK Negeri 1 Sragen. Metode penelitian ini memakai desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yakni semua murid kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Sragen total 468 orang. Teknik sampling yang dipakai yakni teknik purposive samplingdengan total sampel 117 responden. Pengumpulan data memakai kuesioner. Penelitian ini memakai metode analisis asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear berganda, uji kelayakan model (uji F), uji hipotesis (uji t), serta koefisien determinasi dengan memakai SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menerangkan bahwasanya (1) fasilitas belajar tidak berdampak kepada prestasi belajar murid, (2) motivasi berdampak kepada prestasi belajar murid, (3) manajemen waktu berdampak kepada prestasi belajar murid, serta (4) lingkungan keluarga berdampak kepada prestasi belajar murid. Variabel fasilitas, motivasi, manajemen waktu serta lingkungan keluarga berdampak kepada prestasi belajar murid sebanyak 55,1%disisi lain 44,9% diefeki variabel lain yang tidak diteliti, contohnya kompentensi guru, kedisiplinan, minat, gaya belajar serta lain-lain. AbstractThis study aims to examine and analyze the influence of facilities, motivation, learning time management and family environment on student achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Sragen. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive research design. The population is all students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Sragen, totaling 468 people. The sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 117 respondents. Data collection by using a questionnaire. This study uses the classical assumption analysis method, multiple linear regression test, model feasibility test (F test), hypothesis test (t test), and coefficient of determination using SPSS version 20. The results showed that (1) learning facilities had no effect on student achievement, (2) motivation had an effect on student achievement, (3) time management had an effect on student achievement, and (4) family environment had an effect on student achievement. Facilities, motivation, time management and family environment variables affect student learning achievement by 55.1% while 44.9% are influenced by other variables not examined, such as teacher competence, discipline, interests, learning styles and others.

Abstract

AbstrakPandemi covid-19 mengubah paradigma pendidikan menjadi pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada pemanfaatan teknologi. Metode pembelajaran flipped classroom dikembangkan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang muncul akibat penerapan pembelajaran daring. Banyak perubahan pola pikir sebagai hasil dari penerapan pembelajaran daring, salah satunya adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan metode flipped classroom dalam menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methods dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode flipped classroom memberikan ruang dan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya pada setiap fase yang ada pada metode flipped classroom, sehingga metode flipped classroom dinilai mampu menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa di masa pandemi covid-19. AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has changed the paradigm of education into technology oriented learning. The flipped classroom learning method was developed to answer the problems that happen due to the application of online learning. Many changes in mindset as a result of the application of online learning, one of which is the creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the flipped classroom method in stimulating students' creative thinking skills. This research was analyzed qualitatively by using observation, interview, and documentation studies. The results of the analysis show that the flipped classroom method provides space and opportunities for students to practice their creative thinking skills in every phase of the flipped classroom method, so that the flipped classroom method is considered capable of stimulating students' creative thinking skills during the covid-19 pandemic
