Abstract

There has been a change of family in this digital era such as the structure, roles, and responsibilities of parents in early childhood education, including in literacy. The change will continue to occur in family life, but parental responsibility together in child care and education is an ideal condition that must be created in the family, which is not replaced by the technology in this digital era. This paper aims to: (1) identify some changes in family life in the digital era, (2) offer home literacy programs for early childhood in the digital era, including: the urgency of developing literacy for early childhood, the role of parents in home literacy, creating home literacy, and implementing home literacy. Home literacy is an alternative solution for early childhood in developing potential in his/ her golden age. The role of parents in home literacy are to provide means and facilities, to design the environment at home, and actively to engage in literacy activities as a mentor or friend in the activity.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) To know the ability of early counting learning in the group B at TK Bhakti Pagerharjo Pati, and (2) To know whether the use of pocket sticks media can improve the l ability of early counting in group B at TK Bhakti Masyarakat Pagerharjo Wedarijaksa Pati. This type of research is Clasroom Action Reseach using two cycles in which each cycle includes four components, namely planning action, acting, observing, and reflecting. The conclusion of the study is the ability to learn early counting in the group B at TK Bhakti Masyarakat Pagerharjo Wedarijaksa Pati before the research is still low. This is showed by the ability of the early counting that belongs to the category of Very Good Developing (BSB) and teh category of Developing As Expected (BSH) is only 35% and after he action with the pocket media, early counting ability increase to 95%.

Abstract

The research analyzes the relevance of experiential learning in religious learning in early childhood Islamic education institutions based on the natural school of Nurul Islam Yogyakarta. Experiential learning in religious learning is believed to help learners especially in early childhood to increase tadabbur nature and more closer to the real experience in life. The implementation model of experiential learning can be an alterative for us educators to introduce more concrete diverse creations of Allah SWT. Experiential learning can utilize locations such as rice fields, plantations, museums, zoos, school gardens, school grounds, and industrial premises. In addition, activities that can be done in the form of outbound, field trip, and tracking. Therefore, the relevance of experiential learning in the learning of religion is able to instill religious values in the students with a concrete.R

Abstract

Education of early childhood is the important thing in childrens? self and first container to invest character education. The aim of this research is to know the concept of character education according to Thomas L and Al Ghazali then to know the comparison their thoughts. This research is qualitative with library research. Result shows that Thomas and Al Ghazali are extraordinary people who has given intelligence by God to think problem people don?t think. They both think that world needs human that has good moral and education. The base difference located in how Al Ghazali leant every aspect from character education to Islam meanwhile Thomas leants on experience and researches. The difference of view from these figures is not producing a gap but collaborating to produce a new concept that is spirituality character education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know how much Outdoor Learning method through outbond acticity miniature influence to optimalize the early chilhood?s physical motoric. The method uses quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. It conducted in Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency with total sample as many as 85 children from Muslimat NU Nurul Huda Kindergarten Sekaran, Muslimat NU Rahayu Miru Kindergarten, and Musimat NU Bunga Harapan Kindergarten Latek. The sample is divided into two group, that are control group and experimental group. The data acquired from observation and documentary. The result shows 1) outdoor learning through outbond activity miniature significantly influences through chilhood?s physical motoric, this proven from ANOVA test result which shows Fcount score as 247.182 bigger than Ftable as 3.11.  Based on data analysis, it can be concluded tha early childhood?s physical motoric can be optimalized with Outdoor Learning method through Outdoor miniature.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the multicultural understanding of children aged 7-8 years through the MONAYA game media. MONAYA's game media is a game of Cultural Monopoly which has content of cultural or multicultural diversity and has printed on large banners and makes children as pawns using dice and supporting cards of large size so as to attract children's interest in teaching and learning activities and become wrong an alternative learning media. This study uses ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) methods and has been tested through one-on-one trials), small group trials and field group trials and has been validated by early childhood education experts, media experts and multicultural experts. There is an increase in the results of very high child pre-test and post-test and enthusiastic activities which indicate that the MONAYA game media is suitable to be used to increase multicultural understanding of children aged 7-8 years.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menyajikan pembahasan tentang penerapan metode Wafa dalam pembelajaran Al Quran anak di RA Ar Rosyid Kartasura ini. Pembelajaran Al Quran bagi anak dengan menggunakan metode Wafa dalam kerangka praktisnya selaras dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dikemas dengan strategi pembelajaran Quantum Teaching (TANDUR) yaitu Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demostrasi, Ulangi, dan Rayakan. Metode ini mengakomodasi modalitas belajar anak (Visual, Auditorial, dan Kinestetik). Selain itu, metode ini juga mengoptimalkan potensi kecerdasan majemuk yang dimiliki anak sehingga dengan menggunakan metode ini suasana belajar Al Quran lebih hidup tidak membosankan, dan nyaman sehingga pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan bagi anak.

Abstract

basic English skills, 2) analyze the development pattern of the English Dictionary for Early Childhood Education, and 3) classify the constraints and its solutions. The primary data sources of this field research that uses qualitative descriptive approach is the head of TKIT, curriculum section, and ustadzah. While secondary data is the TKIT language dictionary, pictorial dictionary, institutional documentation and references related to the dictionary development. The data collection techniques are moderate participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results show that: 1) The development pattern of basic English skills are introduction of English vocabularies in local content refers to themes and sub-themes that contain local wisdom values in 2013 PAUD curriculum and their repetitions in circle center time, theme tops and end of the month as well as morning review, and in the afternoon before go home also the Three Languages Dictionary, 2) The development patterns are: proposing vocabulary by a dictionary compilation team, collection of proposed vocabulary translated into English and Arabic, pronunciation of vocabulary, assistance with difficult vocabulary translations by English experts, and dictionary writing, while 3) the constraints are: in terms of time; there is no solution but the dictionary evaluation agenda based on changes in themes and sub themes; in terms of changes in curriculum themes, the solution is to choose general themes, in the term of no budgetary aspect for dictionary evaluation of dictionaries, the solution is to do the allocatio;, in terms of human resources that do not have any language background, the solution is sharing experiences with other stakeholders, especially those who specifically have  vision and mission/predominance on language.

Abstract

Abstrak Membimbing anak adalah tugas utama orang tua. Lembaga pendidikan hanya membantu perkembangan anak sewajarnya, selebihnya adalah orang tua. Dalam hal ini kesadaran orang tua belum sepenuhnya terbentuk, maka dari itu perlu diadakannya pendidikan orang tua atau parenting. Program parenting di sekolah bertujuan untuk membantu orang tua dalam mendidik anak, menambah pengetahuan dan informasi orang tua mengenai tumbuh kembang anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dan mengambil lokasi di Kota Cirebon. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru dan orangtua siswa PAUD Lebah Kecil Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan program parenting di PAUD Lebah Kecil ada dua macam, yaitu kegiatan yang bersifat rutin dan berkala. Kegiatan bersifat rutin yaitu kelas pertemuan orang tua dan hari konsultasi orang tua dengan periode satu bulan sekali. Sedangkan yang bersifat berkala adalah home visit, foundation class, seminar dan field trip. Kata kunci: program parenting, nilai moral, anak usia dini. Abstract Guiding children is the main task of parents. Educational institutions only help develop children naturally, the rest are parents. In this case the awareness of parents has not been fully formed, therefore it is necessary to hold parenting education. Parenting programs in schools aim to help parents educate children, increase knowledge and information about parents about child development. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method, and takes location in the city of Cirebon. The subjects in this study were students, teachers and parents of PAUD Lebah Kecil. Data collection used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: the implementation of the parenting program is divided into two, namely routine and periodic activities. Routine activities are parents meeting classes and parents' consultation days with a one-month period. Periodic parenting program activities, namely home visits, foundation classes, seminars and field trips. Keywords: parenting program, moral values, early childhood.

Abstract

Taking care of children shows to way that selected by parents in educating and taking care of their children. In the practice, it includes taking care of eating, drinking, outfit, home and making sure the success of childrens? development and growth until they become adult. Family becomes respondent in this research including husband-wife which the wife is lecturer and the husband is entrepreneur and teacher, civil servant and private. Data acquired from observation and deep interview. The researcher limits the research on subject with dual-career criteria who has 0-8 year child. The taking care meant here shows on certain ways did by parents in fulfilling childrens? base needs. The result of this research is hoped to be additional references in construction of parenting theory according to families? characteristics in which the mother works in University at Lamongan Regency, and Indonesia families generally.
