Abstract

The learning process in the classroom currently takes place passively because students only listen to the teacher's explanation without any question and answer interaction, students do not yet have critical thinking skills to develop their potential. Critical thinking skills are high-level thinking skills that need to be developed in schools. These skills need to be trained through the use of learning models that bring students closer to the surrounding environment to get real experiences so as to increase curiosity and explore understanding by applying the Discovery Learning learning model. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Discovery Learning learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The type of research used is the literature review method in which articles are reviewed by tracing articles that are related to the topic of Discovery Learning. The results of the analysis carried out show that the Discovery Learning learning model has an influence on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Selama pembelajaran daring saat ini berbagai macam media pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan untuk memudahkan penyampaian ilmu dari dosen kepada mahasiswa. Pemilihan berbagai media yang tepat sangat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris setelah menggunakan platform learnsocial. Serta bagaimana penerapan platform learnsocial dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris. Penelitian tersebut dilaksanakan kepada mahasiswa semester tujuh Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Metode penelitian tersebut adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri empat tahapan. Tahapan tersebut adalah perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Selama pembelajaran keterampilan menulis di siklus I didapatkan hasil 65% mahasiswa tuntas dalam pembelajaran dan 35% mahasiswa tidak tuntas. Kemudian dilanjutkan ke siklus II, yang didapatkan hasil 85% mahasiswa tuntas dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis bahasa Inggris dan 15% mahasiswa tidak tuntas dalam pembelajaran. Platform learnsocial sangat membantu proses pembelajaran keterampilan menulis mahasiswa. Mahasiswa dapat mengerjakan latihan yang terdapat dalam platform tersebut dengan menggunakan handphone ataupun laptop serta kemajuan nilai dapat dilihat pada sistem platform tersebutKata Kunci: Platform Learnsocial, Keterampilan Menulis

Abstract

The ability to master the concept is a very important ability to be improved. Discovery learning learning model is a learning model that has 6 stages of learning that are able to support the achievement of mastery of concepts. This study aimsto determine the effect of the discovery learning model on students’ mastery of biological concepts through literature study, namely by looking for various sources that are relevant and have ISSN which are used as references and guidelines. This research method is a literature study by looking for relevant reference sources. The population and sample in this study were all relevant literature articles. Results Based on the literature study research, discovery learning model has an effect on students’ mastery of biological concepts. This means that students’ mastery of biological concepts is significant to the discovery learning model. The discovery learning model can be used as a learning model in schools, especially in biology subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teaching and learning process of teachers Social Studies with students during the civid -19 pandemic. The data collection techniques used used are observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out by analyzing the research results based on data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1). Teaching and learning process Social studies teacher with students during the Covid-19 pandemic, class VII in junior high school State 21 Makassar, namely: a). Implementing distance learning (PJJ) online, b). Implement limited face-to-face learning (PTMT). (2). The creativity of social studies teachers during the covid-19 pandemic in improving the learning motivation of class VII students at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar, namely: a). Prepare lesson plans in social studies lessons, b). Using learning media which more varies in social studies lessons, c). Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the principles of accountability and transparency in the management of BOS funds at UPT SDI 54 Selayar Islands. The research method is descriptive qualitative with an interactive analysis model. This research was conducted at UPT SDI 54 Selayar Islands. Primary data sources were obtained through an interview process with competent parties, namely the principal and the BOS treasurer. While secondary data obtained through observation from third parties or supporting documents and documentation related to this research. The results show that, 1) The principle of accountability in the management of BOS funds at UPT SDI 54 Selayar Islands has been implemented well. This can be seen in the form of an accountability report for the use of BOS funds in the form of a report that is deposited by the school to the local education office. 2) The principle of transparency in the management of BOS funds at UPT SDI 54 Selayar Islands has been well implemented. With the disclosure of information, starting from the planning for the preparation of the RAPBS with the BOS management team to the presentation of the use of BOS funds and their realization which was posted on the school information board. Keywords: Accountability, Transparency, and Management of BOS Funds

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) How is the managerial competence of the principal of UPT SPF SD Inpres Pa'baeng-Baeng 1; (2) How is the upt SPF adiwiyata school program SD Inpres Pa'baeng-Baeng 1; and (3) how to apply the managerial competence of the principal in the implementation of the UPT SPF adiwiyata school program at SD Inpres Pa'baeng-Baeng 1 This research is qualitative research conducted using a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were principals and teachers at UPT SPF SD Inpres Pa'baeng-Baeng 1. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification The results of the research (1) The managerial competence of the principal at SD Inpres Pa'baeng-baeng 1 is quite good, especially in preparing activity planning, empowering teachers and staff well, being able to manage facilities and infrastructure, establishing good relations with the community environment, managing finances in an accountable, transparent manner and carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities on teaching and learning activities; (2) The adiwiyata school program carried out by integrating the curriculum and the support and participation of teachers, staff and students in this activity is good. But the availability of means is still lacking; (3) The application of the managerial competence of the principal in the implementation of the adiwiyata school program at SD Inpres Pa'baeng-Baeng 1 is quite good, especially in preparing the adiwiyata school program planning, managing teachers and staff to be involved and supporting the adiwiyata school program has been done well, developing a curriculum by integrating in the adiwiyata program in learning and the managerial competence of the principal in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the adiwiyata school program  the adiwiyata school program has been well done. Keywords: Managerial Competence, Principal, Adiwiyata Program

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of Covid 19 on the application of online learning and student skills at Upt Sdi Benteng No.62 Kepulauan Selayar. The researcher uses a qualitative approach, with the type of phenomenological research, which is based on a phenomenon that occurs around the city that obtains the required information. The purpose of this study is to present the results of research regarding the implementation of online learning for grade VI A Elementary School students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted on class VI students of UPT SDI BENTENG NO. 62 KEPULAUAN SELAYAR, South Sulawesi Province with a total of 23 students in class VI A. The research data is about the implementation of online learning for class VI A students during the Covid-19 pandemic at UPT SDI BENTENG NO. .62 SELAYAR ISLANDS, South Sulawesi Province from the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The data in the study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data from resource persons (teachers) class VI A UPT SDI BENTENG NO. 62 KEPULAUAN SELAYAR, and class VI A students. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1.) To analyze the character building efforts of SDN 6 Sengkae Kec. Bungoro Kab. Pangkep through traditional games, 2) Analyzing the influence of the character building of students at SDN 6 Sengkae Kec. Bungoro Kab. Pangkep through traditional games. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research subjects were teachers and students. Data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that character building through traditional games at SDN 6 Sengkae, Bungoro District, Pangkajene and Islands District is through three components, namely moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. Furthermore, the stages carried out are 1) introducing good values, giving the benefits of good values, and teaching people to do good things based on values. In addition, giving if it is not in accordance with the value of goodness, giving a warning because it is not based on the value of goodness, being a role model for students to practice good values by telling the truth, 2) The impact of traditional games on character building is customary courtesy. Instilling good values in elementary school children can take practice. Habituation is carried out routinely by the teacher every day to help children become accustomed to good behavior. This custom is also used when playing traditional games. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, there are several suggestions that the author can convey.Keywords: Character, Traditional Games

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) How is the effectiveness of the performance of school supervisors at UPT SPF SD Inpres Balang Boddong, Tamalate District, Makassar City; (2) How is the Professional Competence of Class IV Teachers upt SPF SD Inpres Balang Boddong, Tamalate District, Makassar City and (3) How is the Effectiveness of The Performance of School Supervisors in Improving the Professional Competence of Class IV Teachers UPT SPF SD Inpres Balang Boddong, Tamalate District, Makassar City. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were the superintendent of schools, the principal and the Class Teacher. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification The results of the study (1) The performance of the school superintendent at SD Inpres Balang Boddong in carrying out supervision is quite good, but it is still not optimal, especially in supervision activities. In addition, coaching activities are only at the time of the supervision; (2) The professional competence of teacher IV at SD Inpres Balang Boddong is quite good in teaching and learning activities where teachers compile lesson plans, master lesson materials, use learning media, build interaction with students, carry out assessment activities; and (3) The effectiveness of the performance of school supervisors in improving the professional competence of class IV teachers at SD Inpres Balang Boddong is still not optimal. Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the Strategies of Elementary School teachers in Fostering an Entrepreneurial Spirit at UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya. This research is qualitative research conducted using a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the principal and teacher of UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification The results showed that the teacher's strategy in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in students was carried out starting from the aspects of planning and implementation. The planning aspect is the integration of entrepreneurship in the curriculum in all subjects, the creation of learning plans that contain the values and character of the entrepreneurial spirit and the preparation of activities related to entrepreneurship. The implementation aspect is the implementation of planning in learning in the classroom and implementing a program of activities that have been prepared in an effort to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit in students. The teacher's strategy in implementing learning to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit is carried out by (1) Telling the stories of successful people becoming entrepreneurs; (2) showing videos about entrepreneurship (3) Making handicrafts (4) visiting places of production of goods or services and (5) involving children in extracurricular activities. Keywords : Strategy, Teacher, Entrepreneurial Spirit.
