Abstract

THE EFFECT OF COOPERATIVE GAMES AND INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE ON CHILD EMOTIONAL REGULATION. Negative actions that occur at this time are much related to one's emotional regulation ability. For this reason, instilling the ability of motion regulations should be prepared early. Interpersonal intelligence children like building, relationships and maintaining social relationships will make it easier to know what kind of emotion regulation affecting children. For this reason, cooperative games have become a good game to do in increasing children's regulation. This study aims to reveal the extent to which the influence of cooperative games and interpersonal intelligence on the regulation of motions. Observational research data were tested using a normality test and a homogeneity test followed by a two-way variance test (ANAVA) and continued testing with tukey testing. The results showed that the sample data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the analysis also showed the existence of the interaction of cooperative games and interpersonal intelligence on regulation based on the results of the analysis of variance F count = 62.52 > F tab = 4.08 at the significant level = 0.05.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF JAVANESE LANGUAGE LEARNING METHODS THROUGH ROLE PLAYING ON CHILD POLITE BEHAVIOR. The purpose of this study was to examine how much influence the Javanese language learning method through playing macro roles and playing micro roles on the behavior of courtesy in grade 2 elementary school children in Lamongan Regency. The behavior of courtesy in this study is based on Javanese culture, focused on three aspects namely respecting older people, choosing the language level wisely, and obeying orders. This research was conducted at SDN Made IV and SDN Sukorejo II. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year with a total of 68 research subjects. Data collection techniques using the method of observation. While the data analysis technique uses t-test, which has previously been tested for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was 58.24, while the control class was 56.5. From the results of the study found that the results of a significant value of 0.018 < 0.05. Then the results are obtained that there are differences in the average behavior of courtesy between children who are taught with the Javanese learning method through playing macro roles and children who are taught with the Javanese learning method through playing micro roles. Thus, the behavior of the children polite given the Javanese language learning method through playing macro roles is higher than the children who were given the Javanese learning method through micro role playing.

Abstract

INDEPENDENCE OF CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS AT INSTITUTION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN THE DAYAK KANAYANT CULTURE. This study aims to get an overview of empirical data information on the Independence of Children 5-6 Years in Early Childhood Education Institutions in the Dayak Kanayant Culture in Nanga Kelampai Village, Tumbang Titi District, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic research. Data analysis is Spradley. The data of this study were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the independence of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education institutions in Kanayant Dayak tribal culture is shaped by the roles and attitudes of parents and teachers and the role of the environment. The conclusion of the research shows that independent children are not formed by themselves. Parents need to equip children from an early age to be able to do their own activities without having to rely on parents.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF INITIATIVES, INDEPENDENCE, AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF STUDENT LEARNING. The learning process will take place effectively and productively if students have psychological competence and strength in the form of initiative, independence, and responsibility in learning activities. Students who have the initiative, independence, and low responsibility are suspected to experience obstacles and difficulties in the learning process, and will be trapped in immaturity and stagnation in development. This research aims to develop guidelines for the development of initiatives, independence, and responsibility, so that students can undergo the learning process effectively and independently. If students have the initiative, independence, and responsibility, the learning process is expected to produce quality outputs that can develop students to have abilities according to their potential, can face future challenges, and have quality job and career orientation, so they are able to compete in a global society. With a quasi-experimental method and collaborative action research approach, this study involved 260 respondents and two guidance and counseling teachers in two state junior high schools in West Bandung Regency. The research produced guidelines that were tested that could effectively develop the initiative, independence, and responsibility of junior high school students.

Abstract

PEER PERFORMANCE PROFILE BASED ON DEMOGRAPHIC FACTORS. The purpose of this study was to determine the conformity profile peers based on demographics socioeconomic status. Participants in this study were 123 students junior high school consist of 39 regulars student and 86 “binalingkungan” (low economic) students. The average age of participants was 12-15 years. This research approach using quantitative approach, types of research using a cross sectional survey. The instruments used was a scale conformity peers who developed the theory Brendt use any form of semantic differential scale with alternative answers 1-6 (1 = very inappropriate, 6 = very appropriate). Data were analysed using analysis Mann-Whitney U with a score of 1488.00 and a significance probability value of 0.414. Because the probability of significance 0.414> 0.05, the results showed that there was no difference conformity peers in the student of low socioeconomic status and students socioeconomic status of middle to top.

Abstract

THE IMPORTANCE OF ADAPTABILITY AND CAREER RESILIENCE DURING THE PANDEMIC. The main focus of this article is to explore the importance of career adaptability and resilience in dealing with a pandemic. Through various sources of literature it was found that career adaptability and resilience not only as a goal but also as a process. The development of career adaptability and resilience requires professional intervention through career guidance and counseling.

Abstract

PUPPETS TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT BULYYING FOR FOURTH GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS UJUNG MENTENG 07 PAGI. The purpose of this study was to develop puppets with “jangan ajak temanku” Story to increase knowledge about bullying for 4th grade of elementary school students to get an information about bullying and how to cope with it. The study was included in Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The study was conducted utilizing random sampling with 59 students on preliminary study. Data collection method used an interview techniques with teacher from 4th grade, and questionnaires for students. The validation result got 88% from media expert (very feasible) and 71% from content expert (feasible). The results of the small group trial got a percentage of 86% (very feasible) In media assessment, and the achievement of instructional objectives got percentage of 83%. In conclusion the puppets with “jangan ajak temanku” Story to increase knowledge about bullying for 4th grade of elementary school students can be declared as “Very Feasible”.

Abstract

SOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS IN ROLE PLAYING CENTER ACTIVITIES AT TK LABSCHOOL JAKARTA. This study aims to find and build theories of the forms of social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities, the process of the formation of social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities, the role of the teacher in the formation of social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities, as well as the role of parents in shaping the social behavior of children 5-6 years in the role playing center activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the study found that the social behavior of children 5-6 years old in Labschool Kindergarten Jakarta showed social behavior related to human relations, namely good human relations (social humanity), namely empathy, tolerance, cooperation, responsibility, fair, close behavior , share and wait their turn.

Abstract

EXISTENTIAL GROUP COUNSELING TO IMPROVE SENSE OF SCHOOL BELONGING IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS IN YOGYAKARTA CITY. The aim of this study was to develop existential group conseling model to increase sense of belonging vocational school stundents in Yogyakarta. The development of group counseling models using an existential approach is one alternative that can be used to improve the sense of school belonging. The type of research used is Research and Development model that developed by Borg and Gall. The research subjects were students of State Vocational Schools in Yogyakarta who had low sense of school belonging. Data collection techniques using the sense of school belonging scale adapted from The Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) Scale, developed by Carol Goodenow. Through testing the model, it is known that the average posttest score has increased from 42.75 to 52.75, meaning that the average value of students' sense of school belonging has changed by 10. As for the minimum value, the pretest scores obtained the minimum student is 34.00 in the low category, experiencing a change in grades when the post-test becomes 42.00 in the medium category, meaning that there are no students in the low category. For the maximum score, which in the pretest the maximum value of the students is 47.00 in the medium category, it changes in the score at the post test to be 65.00 in the high category.

Abstract

COMMUNICATION APPREHENSION TENDENCY ON STUDENTS GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING AT INDONESIA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION. Adequate competence in communicating without experiencing communication apprehension is very needful for the student to be able to communicate effectively, and achieve success in academic or career in the future. Communication apprehension would affect negatively in life. This study aims to determine the description of communication apprehension tendency of student guidance and counseling at the Indonesia University of Education. Respondent in this study is student guidance and counseling 2nd grade at the Indonesia University of Education in aggregate 33 students. The data collection process is through instruments with the Personal Report of Communication Apprehension (PRCA-24). The approach used is quantitative with descriptive research methods. The results of the study describe the percentage of achievement scores of students’ communication apprehension tendencies in the moderate category is amount to 23 students, 2) students guidance and counseling experience high communication apprehension in the interpersonal conversation context.
