Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh demokratis orang tua dengan regulasi emosi pada siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Lubuk Pakam Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Pola asuh demokratis diyakini dapat membentuk individu yang bertanggung jawab dan memiliki kemampuan regulasi emosi yang baik, melalui komunikasi dua arah, pemberian kebebasan yang disertai tanggung jawab, serta kedekatan emosional antara orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 40 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria yaitu siswa SMAN 1 Lubuk Pakam dan Siswa yang orang tuanya menerapkan pola asuh demokratis. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket pola asuh demokratis dan regulasi emosi, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis orang tua dengan regulasi emosi siswa, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,408 dan nilai signifikansi p = 0,009 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan tingkat hubungan sedang. Adapun nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar R² = 0,166, yang artinya 16% regulasi emosi dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh demokratis orang tua. Sementara 84% regulasi emosi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu, usia, jenis kelamin, motivasi, norma dan budaya. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting dalam pengembangan peran orang tua dan sekolah dalam mendukung perkembangan emosi siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship between self-control and student social ethics. Self-control is an individual's ability to regulate emotions, impulses, and behavior to conform to prevailing norms. Meanwhile, interaction ethics reflect the extent to which students can interact politely and courteously. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a correlational research design. The population in this study consists of all students in grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 382 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The sample consists of 38 students. The research instruments used were self-control questionnaires and interaction ethics questionnaires, which have been tested for validity and reliability using Cronbach's alpha. The self-control questionnaire achieved a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.872, while the interaction ethics questionnaire scored 0.919. The measurement scale for attitudes, opinions, and perceptions uses a Likert scale. The results of hypothesis testing show that the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.620 and the significance (p) is 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive relationship between self-control and social ethics. The coefficient of determination yields an R-squared value of 0.384 and an R value of 0.620, demonstrating that 38% of social ethics is influenced by self-control and 62% by other factors. This study implies the need for self-control so that students can exhibit positive social ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies in counseling services through a literature study method. Data were collected from literature published in the period 2019–2024 and obtained through a systematic search on Google Scholar, with selection based on relevance, scientific feasibility, and topic recency. Analysis of 15 primary studies showed that CBT has been proven effective in individual and group counseling to deal with various psychological problems, such as social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), low self-esteem, self-esteem, self-efficacy, learning difficulties, deviant behavior, and smartphone addiction. Various CBT techniques used include cognitive restructuring, self-management, modeling, role playing, and integration with other interventions such as music therapy and Islamic counseling. The dominant research designs are pre-experimental experiments, quasi-experimental experiments, and single subject designs with relevant psychological instruments and statistical analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of CBT in counseling can change negative thought patterns to positive ones, improve emotional regulation, and significantly improve client behavior. These findings confirm that CBT is an effective and adaptive strategy to be implemented in various counseling services in Indonesia.

Abstract

Loneliness (kesepian) adalah kondisi psikologis di mana individu merasa tidak memiliki kedekatan emosional dengan orang lain, meskipun tidak selalu dalam keadaan sendiri secara fisik. Fokus tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan efektivitas teknik reframing untuk mereduksi lonelines (kesepian) pada siswa SMPN 1 Dasuk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode eksperimen melalui one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan rata-rata pretest sebesar 112,7 kemudian setelah dilaksanakan konseling kelompok dengan teknik reframing didapatkan rata-rata posttest sebesar 76,3. Nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) yang dihasilkan melalui uji t yaitu 0,00 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian bisa disimpulkan bahwa ada perubahan kondisi loneliness (kesepian) sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan layanan, artinya teknik reframing efektif digunakan dalam mereduksi loneliness (kesepian) pada siswa SMPN 1 Dasuk.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and family social support on career planning of class XI students of SMA Negeri 6 Cirebon. Career planning is one of the important aspects in the individual development stage during adolescence. Self-efficacy acts as an internal factor in the form of confidence in students' abilities, while family social support is a motivator for students from the closest social environment. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods. The subjects of the study were 199 class XI students of a high school in Cirebon City who were selected through random sampling techniques. The instruments in the study used a scale of self-efficacy, family social support and career planning that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis showed that self-efficacy and family social support had a simultaneous effect on students' career planning, with a calculated F value of 88.987 and a significance of <0.001. Partially, self-efficacy has a dominant influence with a t count of 10.591 (p <0.001), followed by family social support with a t count of 3.542 (p <0.001). The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.476 indicates that 47.6% of students' career planning can be influenced by the two independent variables. These results indicate the importance of strengthening students' self-efficacy and collaboration between schools and students' families in supporting the readiness of their future career planning.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of group counseling services using the ABCDE technique in increasing positive self-acceptance in mothers who had children with special needs (ABK). The research method used a quantitative approach with a non-equivalent group pretest-posttest control design. The subjects consisted of 12 mothers, 6 in the experimental group and 6 in the control group. The pre-test results showed that all participants were in the moderate category (100%). After the intervention, all members of the experimental group moved to the high category (100%), while the control group remained in the moderate category (100%). The Wilcoxon test produced a Z value of -2.207 with a significance level of 0.027 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group. These findings indicated that the ABCDE technique was effective in helping parents manage emotions and develop positive self-acceptance regarding the condition of their children with special needs. This intervention could be used as an alternative group-based psychological support method in the context of special education.

Abstract

This study aims to fill the gap in the content of peace guidance services, which are still dominated by normative approaches and do not provide students with transformative conflict management skills. A systematic literature review is the method used in this study to achieve the research objectives, namely formulating dimensions of conflict transformation as the content of peace guidance services. The results of the study indicate that the content of conflict transformation in peace guidance emphasizes awareness of the roots of conflict, creative expression, inclusive dialogue, and commitment to reconciliation. The competencies required include reflective skills, empathetic communication, and cooperation. Arts and creativity-based interventions are suggested to change attitudes and perceptions of conflict.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in shaping students' understanding and compliance with school regulations at MTSN 2 Medan. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Through an educational and humanistic approach, BK teachers provide guidance services in the form of orientation, classical guidance, individual counseling, and case conferences to address violations that occur. School regulations are conveyed in a communicative manner so that students not only understand the contents of the regulations, but also understand the reasons and values behind them. BK teachers also implement a violation point system and SPO (Parental Statement Letter) as collaborative development instruments. After conducting various analyses, the results of this study can be concluded that Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers have a strategic role in shaping students' understanding and compliance with school regulations at MTSN 2 Medan. This role is realized through guidance services that are educational, collaborative, and humanistic, including orientation, classical guidance, individual counseling, and involvement in case conferences. Guidance and counseling teachers not only perform supervisory functions but also play an active role in developing students' character through persuasive communication and the implementation of structured guidance systems, such as violation points and Parental Statement Letters (SPO). Overall, the approach implemented by guidance and counseling teachers has proven effective in reducing violation rates and encouraging the internalization of disciplinary values.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling have ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations that are the basis for the implementation of services both in schools and outside schools. As one of the services in guidance and counseling, community counse1ling services cannot be separated from the underlying philosophical perspective, especially tp facilitate adolescents' development. This research aims to analyze the philosophical perspective of community counselling implementation to facilitate the development of adolescents in Indonesia. The research method used is a systematic literature review. The data collection technique was carried out by searching for articles on Google scholar using the keywords "community counselling" and "adolescent" in English and Indonesian. The data analysis techniques used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) model and resulted in 12 of 200 research articles that could be analyzed. The analysis results show that implementation community counselling to facilitate adolescent development has not been widely implemented in Indonesia. There is a distinctive philosophical basis in all the articles analyzed. From an ontological perspective, community counseling tends to target marginalized groups such as former drug addicts, children with special needs, and the elderly. Meanwhile, an epistemological perspective shows that knowledge and truth in community counseling are still being formed through various subjective observations and experiences. The idea of integrating religion and culture in several articles shows that community counseling services have an axiological basis with a strong multicultural spirit. Further research is expected to be able to explore more deeply regarding each philosophical basis in community counseling services.
