Abstract

Cassava peel waste and cow dung in the Pendawa I Farmer Group, Candi Rejo Village, Sibiru-biru District, are managed into compost which can be reused for cultivated plants. However, it is necessary to analyze the chemical characteristics of the compost produced by good compost according to SNI 19-7030-2004. The purpose of this activity is to determine the chemical characteristics and SEM analysis of compost made from cassava skin waste and cow dung produced by the Pendawa I Farmer Group. carried out for 4 weeks. The materials used were 100 kg of cassava skin waste, 200 kg of cow dung, water, molasses, and enough EM4 as an activator. Parameters observed included compost pH, total N (%), total P2O5 (%), K2O (%), C-organic (%), CEC (me/100), compost moisture content (%), C/N ratio, and micronutrients which include Ca (%), Mg (%), Fe (%), Mn (%), Cu (ppm) and Zn (ppm). As well as SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) analysis with 2500x magnification. The results of compost analysis show that the final chemical characteristics of the compost have pH (6.50 : neutral), N-total (1.37% : very high), Total P2O5 (0.48% : very high), K2O (0.25% : high), C-organic ( 25.06% : very high), CEC (125.05 me/100 : very high), compost moisture content (20.15%), C/N ratio (18.29), Ca (0.10%), Mg (0.30%), Fe (0.97% ), Mn (0.09%), Cu (7.43 ppm) and Zn (46.64 ppm). Based on the results of laboratory analysis, the results of the chemical analysis of the compost are by following SNI 19-7030-2004 so that farmers in the Pendawa I Farmer Group can continue to produce the compost.

Abstract

Caregivers are people who assist others in need. Caregivers at the Prosperous Parents Service Foundation (YAPOS) consist of caregivers, cooks, and general workers who double as cleaning workers. All caregivers interact directly with YAPOS residents, namely the elderly, who are cared for by their families. The workload and the division of shifts, which only consist of two changes, certainly burden the caregivers. Excessive workload on weaving can cause high work stress. The workload must be measured immediately to provide input for YAPOS leaders to provide interventions on increasing or decreasing the number of caregivers to achieve a practical and ideal workload. This workload measurement can be carried out objectively so that it becomes the basis for assigning tasks and responsibilities in the future. The measure will also result in valuable work time and the amount of workload felt by the caregivers.

Fashion as a part of the creative economy today can not only be worked on by people who live in urban areas but also people who live in villages, especially with the even distribution and growth of information technology in the country. Abstract

Breeders experience difficulties in providing grass as animal feed due to the narrowness of grazing land and changes in the function of land where agricultural land has become oil palm plantations. Farmers only expect the grass that is under the oil palm plants. Farmers have difficulty getting grass for their livestock when there is less grass under the palm trees, especially during the dry season. It is necessary to transfer the technology of utilizing palm leaves and fronds as quality and continuously available sheep feed. This can be overcome by applying the manufacture of MOL and Amphoteric feed from palm leaves and fronds. The method applied to this service activity is the transfer of knowledge in the form of socialization activities in the form of: 1) Introduction to types of plantation and agro-industrial waste that can be used as alternative forages and concentrates, (2) Formulation of sheep feed, (3) Manufacturing technology MOL, (4) manufacture of amphoteric feed, and 5) Monitoring and assistance. Socialization is done by training and lecture methods. The lecture activity was finished, followed by a question and answer session between the participants and the speakers. The results of the farmer's activities found out how to make MOL from palm leaves and fronds which are used to manufacture amphoteric feed. The knowledge and skills possessed by these breeders are expected to overcome the difficulties of breeders in providing grass, as well as to increase the productivity of sheep.
