Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dakwah melalui channel YouTube Khalid Basalamah Official dengan fokus pada peran interaksi dan keterlibatan audiens di kalangan mahasiswa UIN Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah digital ini efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan keagamaan, dengan audiens tidak hanya berperan sebagai pendengar tetapi juga aktif terlibat dalam diskusi melalui kolom komentar dan fitur live chat. Keterlibatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap isu-isu keagamaan dan menciptakan suasana diskusi yang interaktif. Namun, penelitian juga menemukan tantangan dalam moderasi komentar dan pemahaman materi yang kompleks. Secara keseluruhan, dakwah di platform YouTube memiliki potensi besar untuk menjangkau dan mendidik audiens, serta memperkuat keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran agama. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi dakwah digital yang lebih efektif di era media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the resilience of married students at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sumatera Utara, and the factors contributing to its formation. The main issue addressed is how married students manage dual roles as students and spouses, as well as the challenges they face in balancing academic responsibilities and family obligations. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation study techniques. The sample consists of four married students actively attending lectures. The results indicate that the resilience of married students is influenced by their adaptability, the importance of rest for mental health, self-confidence, and support from their spouses and families. The study implies that educational institutions need to provide mentoring programs and counseling services to assist married students in overcoming academic and personal life challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the responsibility of bus companies in Medan City for damage and loss of passenger belongings due to accidents and to evaluate its alignment with the perspective of Maslahah. The issue of bus company liability is often overlooked, even though it is regulated by the Road Traffic and Transportation Law Number 22 of 2009, and the one-sided bus ticket clauses often contradict the Consumer Protection Law, thereby harming passengers. The focus of this research is to assess the extent to which the bus company's responsibilities create a sense of fairness and comfort for passengers. This research employs an empirical juridical approach, utilizing qualitative data collection methods such as interviews and document analysis. The research results show that if a bus accident occurs due to the driver's negligence, the company is obligated to replace the damaged or lost passenger belongings in accordance with the applicable regulations. However, from the perspective of Maslahah, the responsibility of bus companies in Medan City does not yet fully reflect the concept of maqashid sharia, particularly in the aspect of property preservation (hifzh al-mall). The implication of this study is the need for regulatory revisions and stricter oversight by the government to ensure that bus companies' responsibilities align with the principles of justice and welfare for public transportation users.

Abstract

Putus sekolah di kalangan remaja merupakan masalah penting yang mempengaruhi sistem pendidikan dan masa depan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pendidik agama dalam mengantisipasi dan mencegah putus sekolah pada remaja. Kajian ini berfokus pada upaya penyuluh agama dalam memberikan bimbingan dan dukungan kepada remaja putus sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan dekriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang terfokus pada penyuluh agama dan remaja putus sekolah. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penyuluh agama memiliki potensi besar dalam memberikan dukungan moral, spiritual, dan sosial kepada remaja yang berisiko putus sekolah. Namun, peran mereka masih terbatas oleh kurangnya sumber daya dan koordinasi yang kurang efektif. Faktor-faktor seperti ekonomi, psiklogis, dan lingkungan sosial berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka putus sekolah. Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, sekolah, dan organisasi masyarakat dalam mengatasi masalah ini. Evaluasi berkala terhadap program pembinaan dan dukungan tambahan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya.

Abstract

Religious character is essential for children to navigate the challenges of rapid societal changes and moral degradation. This study aims to analyze the strategies employed in fostering religious character development in children at educational institutions, such as foster homes and modern Tahfiz institutions. The research utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis involves data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the strategies implemented by the Yakesma Modern Tahfiz and Foster Home in Medan include religious mentoring, character education, motivational guidance, fostering independence and discipline, and promoting social interactions. Supporting factors, such as adequate facilities and skilled caregivers, play a crucial role, while challenges arise from children's unstable emotional development. These strategies effectively shape the religious character of children, equipping them to face future societal challenges with resilience and moral integrity.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the impact of the e-commerce application (Shopee) on the consumption behavior of the Bukit Martajam Village community, and to investigate this behavior from an Islamic perspective. The study employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing probability sampling and random sampling techniques, with a maximum of 80 participants. We analyzed the data using a simple regression test and SPSS 25 Statistics. The results showed that the use of Shopee has a significant influence on people's consumptive behavior, with a significance value (0.018) < 0.05 and a t-count value (2.413) > t-table (1.663). These findings indicate that the use of Shopee has an impact on consumptive behavior, and it is important to integrate Islamic values in consumption behavior to avoid negative impacts. Intensive use of Shopee tends to increase consumptive behavior in Bukit Martajam Village. In Islam, the principle of kesederhanaan strongly influences consumption behavior. Even so, Shopee makes it simple to fulfill needs. This study's implications suggest that we should teach Islamic values about wise consumption, encouraging people to avoid excessive consumption and strengthening their understanding of balance in daily life to reduce negative impacts like materialism and wastefulness.

Abstract

This study addresses the economic and financial challenges faced by families in Pekanbaru, a major economic and social hub on the island of Sumatra, where many families have low incomes and rely on zakat and infaq assistance to meet their basic needs. High urbanization rates also influence the way families manage their lives. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze the issues families in Pekanbaru face in managing their livelihoods, using a descriptive qualitative approach to comprehensively collect and depict data. The data is analyzed through content analysis to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges. The concept of "sakinah family" used in this study refers to families built on lawful marriages, capable of fulfilling both spiritual and material needs in a balanced manner, and prioritizing values of affection within the family and social environment. The implementation of this concept in Pekanbaru involves financial management, participation in productive activities, and engagement in social and political activities. Findings indicate that families managing their incomes under the principles of sakinah have more prudent financial planning and joint financial decision-making between spouses. This sakinah family management approach shows potential for enhancing the welfare and harmony of families in Pekanbaru through balanced financial practices aligned with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research examines the comparison of the implementation of online learning at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty and the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang using a qualitative approach with comparative studies, which aims to comprehensively investigate the differences in blended learning strategies and policies in the two educational institutions. Through data collection methods that include direct observation, in-depth interviews with academic stakeholders, and analysis of official documents, this research explores significant variations in the implementation of hybrid learning models, with a primary focus on the proportion of online learning, technology platforms used, and the pedagogical impact of different approach. Key findings show that the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty implements a model with 40% online learning and 60% offline, utilizing e-learning for administrative management, while the Adab and Humanities Faculty limits online learning to 30% using the Zoom and Google Meet platforms. These differences reflect institutional flexibility in responding to digital educational challenges, while also revealing the complexity of pedagogical adaptations required in the modern higher education context. This research not only identifies technical variations in the implementation of blended learning, but also analyzes the strategic implications of different approaches, including the potential impact on the quality of academic interactions, the effectiveness of knowledge transfer, and the need for continuous professional development for teaching staff. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of systematic evaluation and continuous adjustment in the hybrid learning model, while underscoring the blindness of a more standardized approach that still pays attention to the unique characteristics of each faculty in implementing blended learning strategies.

Abstract

Mewujudkan  keluarga sakinah merupakan cita-cita masyarakat Muslim, namun kesadaran tentang pentingnya hal ini masih rendah di kalangan masyarakat Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan Pengadilan Agama Panyabungan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk membentuk keluarga sakinah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian mencakup pihak-pihak yang terlibat langsung dalam upaya mediasi dan program-program lain yang dijalankan oleh pengadilan. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengadilan Agama Panyabungan telah melakukan banyak hal, seperti memaksimalkan mediasi perceraian untuk mempertahankan pernikahan, mengadakan program sidang keliling untuk isbat nikah, dan bekerja sama dengan Radio MNC Trijaya FM Mandailing Natal untuk memberikan penyuluhan hukum. Pengadilan juga bekerja sama dengan mediator profesional untuk meningkatkan proses mediasi. Faktor pendukung seperti itikad yang baik dari pihak yang bersangkutan, peran tokoh agama, lingkungan keluarga, dan keahlian mediator mempengaruhi hasil upaya ini. Namun, ada hambatan lain, seperti kurangnya kesadaran hukum masyarakat dan ketidakhadiran pihak terkait. Studi ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya menggunakan strategi terstruktur dan kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang keluarga sakinah. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan membantu pembuat kebijakan membuat rencana untuk meningkatkan kesadaran hukum dan menciptakan kerja sama yang lebih luas dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Examining the connection between self-control and skincare use among male students who shop online was the primary goal of this research. In order to find out if there is a connection between variables or not, or to make predictions based on the correlation between variables, this study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational approach. Accidental sampling, a convenience-based sampling approach, was used as the sample methodology. In all, 160 men participated in the survey. The hypothesis testing results show that rxy has a value of -0.0881 and a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.001. As a result of this condition, it is clear that there is a strong inverse link between self-control and consumptive behavior. In other words, a lack of self-control may cause one to be very consumptive, and vice versa. Among male students who shop for skincare online, the findings reveal a strong inverse correlation between self-control and consumptive behavior. The significant negative association between the two variables is shown by the correlation coefficient value of -0.881. Lower levels of self-control are associated with greater levels of consumptive behavior, while higher levels of self-control are associated with lower levels of consumptive behavior.
