Abstract

This research aims to determine PAI teachers' strategies for instilling religious attitudes in class VII students at Gema Buwana Private Middle School. The focus of the study is on three things, namely what strategies are used by teachers in instilling religious attitudes in class VII at Gema Buwana Private Middle School, what PAI teachers' strategies are in instilling religious attitudes in class VII at Gema Buwana Private Middle School, and the reasons why PAI teacher strategies are needed in instilling a religious attitude in class VII of Gema Buwana Private Middle School. The research method used is qualitative based on descriptive studies. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results explain that teachers are called PAI teachers because their main task lies in the ability to teach how the Islamic religion can be understood and implemented by students appropriately and proportionally. The process of knowing, understanding and applying is not as easy as turning the palm of your hand. It needs a mature, long, continuous or systematic process. Therefore, there needs to be a conscious process to develop all human potential so that Islam can function as a solution to solve the problems of people's lives.

Abstract

.  Understanding people is understanding yourself. The other individual is a representation of himself. However, within every human being, both as an individual and in a community, there is still a mystery that cannot be fully revealed. Humans are God's creation. who has a strategic role as a servant and at the same time caliph on earth. Humans are born in a state of purity, in the sense of fitrah. In an authentic hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim, it is stated that every child is born in a state of fitrah. It was his parents who allowed him to become a Jew, Christian, or Magian. This hadith implies that from birth, humans are equipped with various potentials called fitrah. Fitrah is an Arabic term which means a holy or good character, specially created by Allah swt. for humans as the main potential in the review of Islamic educational philosophy. Information related to humans is very much mentioned in the Qur'an as a reference and guide in everyday life to get the right path.

Abstract

The notions of philosophy, science and philosophy of science will be clarified through this study. This work is a qualitative research that aims to create meaning through selected literature. Dimensions Philosophy comes from everything that exists and might exist. A thorough understanding of the philosophy of science requires an etymological and terminological understanding of philosophy and science itself. Derived from the Arabic word “alima” which means knowledge, science is terminologically precise and structured knowledge. Philosophy has its etymology in the Greek term philoshopia, which means love of knowledge. Philosophers' own definitions give many meanings to philosophical terms. Philosophy was defined by Aristotle as knowledge that incorporates truth and covers the fields of metaphysics, logic, rhetoric, ethics, and aesthetics. Thus, one can read philosophy of science as a philosophy that contains exact and structured truths about knowing. The tangible result of scientific philosophy is science. Its scope includes the axiological foundation, which is the virtue of science, the epistemological foundation, which is how knowledge is obtained, and the ontological foundation, which is what science really means.

Abstract

The scientific literacy of Indonesian elementary school students is one of the lowest in the world. As was found in fifth-grade of the Subang Regency Elementary School, it was found that there was a lack of scientific literacy skills, especially in science process skills. This is caused by the lack of teachers in directing their students to relate science to the environment and technology. Based on this, this research was conducted to analyze students' learning activities and scientific literacy by applying the STEAM approach assisted by Canva media. The method applies the Kemmis & McTaggart Model Classroom Action Research (CAR) design (quantitative & qualitative). The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation by making 28 fifth-grade students of one of the elementary schools in Subang Regency (14 boys and 14 girls) the research subjects. This research was conducted for ten days from 27 May – 07 July 2024. This research found increased student activity and learning outcomes after implementing the STEAM approach assisted by Canva media. The results of student learning activities increased by 13%, from cycle 76%, to 89% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the results of students' scientific literacy ability tests also increased by looking at the comparison of classics completion from pre-cycle and cycle II of 72% from the pre-cycle test of 14%, the second cycle test being 86%. It can be concluded that the application of the STEAM approach assisted by Canva media can improve the learning activities and scientific literacy abilities of fifth-grade elementary school students in IPAS learning. Future researchers should research further regarding the third scientific literacy skill competency indicator "interpreting data according to scientific facts" using other research methods.

Abstract

The science of al-Jarh wa at-Ta'dil plays an important role in ensuring the authenticity of the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, which is the most important science in Islamic studies. This journal in depth discusses how this science is applied to filter authentic hadiths from those that are not, by focusing on evaluating the credibility of hadith narrators. Through the analysis of key concepts and the application of scientific methods in the field of al-Jarh wa at-Ta'dil, the research explores the mechanisms of assessment of the narrators and how they affect the status of validity of a hadith. The results of this research confirm that a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the science of Jarh wa Ta'dil is not only vital in upholding the authenticity of the Prophet's hadiths, but also in maintaining the integrity and validity of hadith traditions in Islam. Thus, this science contributes significantly to efforts to preserve authentic and trusted Islamic teachings. This research also highlights the importance of knowledge and skills in the science of Jarh wa Ta'dil for Islamic researchers, scholars and scholars, and students studying hadith, as a means to understand and implement the teachings of the Prophet more accurately and responsibly.
